Place to gain talent. Not only in studies.
Placements: The placements before 2023 were good, and the students attended lots of companies. But after 2023, there were not many companies to select the students. Recently, I attended one company; they selected only a few students for the final round and only 3 students for the company.
Infrastructure: The hostel's infrastructure is good, and they maintain it cleanly. Hostel staffs are friendly to us, and there is a good drinking water supply. There are totally three hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. Taste-wise, it is good for the girls' hostel compared with the boys'.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and supportive in helping students get placed in a company. They are well-knowledgeable faculty members and good with communication. In my department, there are totally 18 staff with good knowledge. My faculty maintained the attendance percentage, which is helpful for students.

I'm absolutely satisfied with this nice college campus and rules are very good.
Placements: In Thanthai Periyar government institute of technology placements, large companies are hiring like Zoho, HCL, Facililo, etc. with high salary packages, and last year we got 80 percent of students placed. Placement teaching is very good in this college and they conduct mock interviews.
Infrastructure: In this college, girls hostel infrastructure is good but rules are very bad. Boys hostel infrastructure is good and rules are also good. Food does not meet your expected level. Otherwise, inside the hostel, you have a very enjoyable time, and a study gym is available inside the college.
Faculty: Teaching is very good. All faculty are highly knowledgeable people and doing research. Our college conducted a model exam very strictly. some faculties are very friendly. Every year conducted symposium and other functions. Thanthai periyar government institute of technology is very natural.
Other: The mechanical department laboratory is very super. All types of instruments are available and lab staff are very knowledgeable.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT), Vellore, has a dedicated training and placement cell that focuses on preparing students for the job market. The college offers technical training, soft skills development, and internships to enhance students' employability. In 2023, 172 students secured placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA, and the average package was approximately 3.5 LPA. Major recruiters include TCS, Cognizant, Renault Nissan, TVS Fasteners, and Xiaomi. The placement process is supported by faculty members who coordinate with companies to ensure successful outcomes.
Infrastructure: Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT), Vellore, offers well-established infrastructure for its students. Key facilities include: 1. Academic Buildings: The college features well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and workshops for various engineering disciplines, providing a hands-on learning experience. 2. Library: TPGIT has a large library with a wide collection of books, journals, and digital resources to support students' academic and research needs. 3. Other Facilities: The college provides transportation, canteen, medical, and banking facilities on campus for the convenience of students.
Faculty: Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology (TPGIT) offers a range of undergraduate (B.E.) and postgraduate (M.E., MCA) programs in engineering, accredited by AICTE and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The curriculum is designed according to Anna University guidelines and offers courses in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, and communication, as well as computer science engineering. Each department has well-equipped labs to support practical learning. Not satisfied with the teaching quality and placements.
Placements: There is no placement in my college and only a few students are getting placement in some walk-in interviews and some people are left out without any job. The top companies that recruit students are TCS, TATA, Cognizant, Infosys, etc. The students often work as Machines learning engineer, data scientists, etc. The highest package was around 7 LPA, the average salary was around 3–4 LPA and the lowest salary was around 2 LPA. No student got an internship at my college.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a Wi-Fi facility, the labs do not have proper configurations and the classrooms are not maintained properly. The library is just for name sake and only a few books are available in it. The hostel is considered to be worse and there is no proper food available in the mess either. The college does not give much importance to sports.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and helpful; even though they are not knowledgeable enough, they refer to some text books and explain the topics. The courses are relevant but that does not make us industry-ready. And in most cases, the students do not know anything about electronics. The semester exams are not at all difficult and the pass percentage is 35%.

Not so satisfied with the infrastructure and placement.
Placements: Only 50–60% of the students got placed in top companies and there is no placement support on campus, so only the students themselves should search for opportunities. As per a few alumni reports, most of the students got placed at TATA, Adani, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Siemens, and so on. The top roles offered were Control Engineer, Power System Engineer, Research and Development engineer, etc. The highest salary offered was around 8 LPA, the average salary offered was 3-5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: It does not have any Wi-Fi facilities and the labs are also not well maintained. The classrooms are average, and the library is stocked with some major text books. The hostel is the worst and the food offered there is completely worse than that and the canteen does not have a variety of food items. There are few basic medical facilities available on campus and a few playgrounds are available for hostel students.
Faculty: The faculty members are not so qualified but they help solve the doubts. They are practically knowledgeable and often communicate with us. The curriculum is relevant but that does not make the students industry-ready. Most of the students don't know anything about electrical engineering. The semester exams are not at all difficult, even a one night study can make you pass. 35% is the pass percentage.

Definitely Useful for Low-Capital Family Students.
Placements: I'm a student of BE Mechanical Engineering in this college of the year 2023-2027. There are 120 seats for this course, and companies like Tata, Mahindra, and other core companies are recruiting here. Placements are also happening at the end of the semester, and 90% of mechanical students were placed in the last placement.
Infrastructure: Of course, the infrastructure of the college is a little poor when compared to some other colleges, but it's totally fine anyway. Even the hostel infrastructure is a little okay for the 1st-year students. The mess food is below average, and sports and games are also available.
Faculty: Of course, it is a government college, so well-experienced staff are available, and they are knowledgeable. The semester exams are a little tougher, though, and it is easy to prepare anyway. It may help with the company's requirements too.
Other: This college is much useful for middle-income families.
