AIL LET 2025 - The Army Institute of Law. Mohali will tentatively commence the AIL LET 2025 application process in May 2025, at ail.ac.in. After the completion of the application process, the AIL LET 2025 exam will be conducted. The exam will tentatively be held in June 2025 for admission to BA LLB (Hons.) course offered by AIL Mohali.

Through Army Institute of Law Law Entrance Test 2025, candidates will be shortlisted for admission to 75 seats for the Wards of Army Personnel and 5 seats for All India General Category. The admission process for 20 seats of Punjab Residents Civil Category will be based on a centralized online counselling as per directions of Secretary, Higher Education, Government of Punjab.

What is AIL LET?

AIL LET is the Law Entrance Test (LET) is an institute-level conducted by Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali for admissions to BA LLB course. The entrance test consists of a paper with 4 sections for a duration of two hours.

The question paper of AIL LET objective type questions of a standard expected of 10+2 students. The questions in the exam are asked from Mental Ability, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Law Aptitude and General English. The total maks in the paper is 200 and each question carries 1 marks. No negative marking is done in case of wrong attempts. The exam is conducted in test centres across Chandigarh.

Through AIL LET, as many as 100 BA LLB seats are offeredincluding 75 for wards of Army Personnel,20 for Punjab Resident Civil Category, and 05 seats are available for all India category candidates.

Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB course at the Army Institute of Law should fulfil the AIL LET eligibility criteria 2025 as under:

Candidates passed or appearing in Class 12th or equivalent examination from Punjab School Education Board or any other state or national board of education in India.
They must have secured at least 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates who have completed their qualifying exam from open university are not eligible for admission to the law course.
Candidates who are clearing Class 12th compartment papers are not eligible for admission at AIL.
