Placements: Placements are good. More than 80% of computer science students are placed. The salary range was from 1.74 to 4 lacs annually. Companies like Persistent, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. visited the campus. The company offered many positions like developers, management trainee, associate, etc. About internships, the students are free to choose any internship according to their need. The college has a finishing school programme. Also, summer training is done here. ...

Placements: There are a lot of companies which visit our college and most of them were software companies that came in Kolkata. TCS(mass recruiter), MindTree, IBM, Emphasis, etc. are the companies that recruited the students. If I talk about my placement, I was rejected from TCS but placed in IBM. In our previous batch, the total placed candidates were 300 plus. The average package was 3.2 lakhs. Many students got an internship in Mahindra from the mechanical and electrical branch. ...

Placements: Placement in the core sector is minimum but there are good placements in the software field. These days, the college is sending students for internships in good industries and automobile brands like Fiat and Mahindra but a very few get that opportunity. Branches like computer science, information technology and electronics and communication department have a good placement record. Less than 80% students get a job.

Placements: Almost 80% students of our department that is Electrical Engineering (B.Tech) got placed in several companies. The companies that came to our college were TCS, Bosch, Honeywell, and some other core sector companies which are well-known for their work and services in this field. Placements: Senior batch placements are good and are around 60%. Higest salary offered is 7.6lakh per annum, lowest salary offered is 2.4 lakh per annum and average salary offered is2.8 lakh per annum. TCS, CTS, Syntel, IBM, HCL, Accenture, Mind tree, Wipro, Infosys, and many more companies visited the campus. They offered roles for assistant software engineer, developer, system engineer, software engineer and ITIS also.

Placements: Placement is pretty good in AEC as compared to any other college of west Bengal. Genuinely, TCS is the elixir for AEC students. In my batch aproxmately 60%+ student got placed in various companies. The highest package was given by JOHNSON CONTROLS INDIA which gave a 5.2 lakhs CTC and the lowest is given by Shriram Commercial Vechile Finance Company i.e 1.4 lakhs CTC. and the average package offered is 3.33 lakhs per annum by TCS, MindTree etc. The companies visited the college are TCS, MindTree,...

Placements: The last year's placement was good . In this year till today, the placement is average. This year the highest salary offered is 3.5 lakhs and the lowest is 2.8 lakhs per year. Maximum software companies visit the campus, from last year but fewer core companies are visiting. The students have to give an Appti exam then after clearing Appti, the students go for the interview. Last year, the students got an internship in Mahindra & Mahindra. But, no idea about the stipend offered to them.

Placements: The placements are good for the ECE department. Anyone can get placed in TCS if he/she is eligible for that. TPO and other teachers always help for the placements. The department started special class for placements. There are lots of companies for ECE, and the faculty members are very helpful for all subjects and final year projects.

The placements are good. In my batch, the strength was 81, in which 73 student were placed. Most of them were placed in TCS. Company that had visited college were TCS, IBM etc. Mechanical branch placements were very bad, whereas ECE branch placements were awesome. More than 90% ECE students were placed whereas only 2 or 3 were placed in the civil department. The college infrastructure isn’t that good. This is a good college for technical students who want to complete their B.Tech degree by staying close to their home. Also the college provide good lab facilities in all the departments and the faculty members are also friendly. For courses like CS, ME, EE, AEIE, EC and CE the college is well established in its locality. The library is big enough and you will get almost every necessary books with sufficient number of copies. Asansol Engineering College is a private college, come under the WBUT, AIcte and Ugc approved, and is in Asansol, wardman district of West Bengal. The campus and the college life is very good but the fee structure now become very tedious. The salary and placement are average and approximately 65% placement happen from on campus. Our college is a well-established and reputed college in West Bengal. Looking at the Geographical position, it is well beside of National Highway-2 which facilitates a very good and reliable transportation service.
