Our college is good with good faculty members, but placements are not good.

Placements: Placements in our college are average, and about 50-60% of the students got a job in the company. Other 40-50% of the student will get a very low paying job. Our college is good for all other things like faculty, education but its placements are not good. Our college is not good for placements.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Absolutely frustrated with bad placement process.

Placements: About 35-40 percent of students in the electrical department were placed (all in TCS). Average salary for them was nearly about 3 LPA. Top recruiter was TCS as a System Developer (or equivalent). The highest, as well as Average package offered, was about 3 LPA. For internship, most students have to arrange it on their own but if they fail in doing so then college management will arrange that for them ( mostly in nearby power plants or sub-stations).

Our college provides good infrastructure, placements and faculty members.

Placements: Nearly 80% of the students got placed in the previous year. Our college is famous for placements in BCA course of 3 years. Top recruiters of our college are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and many more. Each student is required to prepare a project which they would be able to show to their recruiters and for their experiences. Our college provides good placements compared to other colleges in the nearby area.

Our college has very good infrastructure and very good facilities, but there are some issues.

Placements: Almost 30% of the students get placed in our course. The lowest salary offered is almost Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered is almost Rs. 30,000 per month. The salary package is offered according to the companies. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Techno India, etc. In our department, very few students get placed because we are core branches and we don't want to get in companies like IT, TCS, etc. We want to get placed in core companies, but the number of core companies are very l...

I am satisfied with the college. It provides average placements, but good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our course are a bit less than average. Most of the students get placed from CS, IT and ECE branches. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. TCS is the top recruiting company of our course. Roles offered to the students depends on companies. The salary package offered ranges between 4-12 LPA. Maximum got an internship from Internshala, but there is no such place where an internship is provided.

Review of Asansol Engineering College.

Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for civil and mechanical branches. But, it provides good placements in TCS company for the students of CSE, IT and ECE branches. The packages offered range from 3.5-12 LPA. Many students get placed through off-campus placements, in companies like Techno India, JIS Group etc. But, the condition of the civil department is very poor as very few companies visit the campus and offer low salary packages.

It is average. Join this college if you can manage to study on your own to some extent.

Placements: From the batch 2013, around 280 students out of 600 were placed. In 2014 batch, only 130 students out of 600 were placed because of the bad market conditions. The main recruiter was TCS. Other companies have conducted pool campus drives for Techno Group of Colleges.

Dissatisfied with faculty. Placements were a bit good.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is 50%, and there are only a few opportunities available for the students of the core branches. However, placements for the IT and EK departments are good. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA. Well-reputed companies such as Mahindra and Mahindra and Tata Consultancy Services visit the campus for placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are not too good. I don't know much about the placement record of the college. However, many students and our seniors got placed in several companies. Almost four students were placed at the beginning of the 5th semester.

Placements: Placements in college are good. You will easily get hired even if you are an average student. Mainly IT companies like TCS, Accenture, etc., visit the college for hiring students. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The placement cell is very efficient and helpful. They provide training before the placements.

Review of AEC - Asansol Engineering College.

Placements: Placements of the B.Tech students were average, but when it comes to BBA, the placements were horrible. In our batch, out of 37 students, only 5 students got a job with a salary package of 1.5 LPA. So if you want just the degree, please go with this college. I was studying only for the degree because I wanted to work in the government sector.

The college is good if you know what you want to do and can focus on that.

Placements: As I am a final year student, I can elaborate on the placements in college. Placements in college are average. The college did its job of inviting companies, but it's totally up to students to develop their skills to get placed. Our TPO is great, but I firmly believe that students should be encouraged and introduced to use the basic development tools.

Placements: Placements in the college are very good. We are in the final year, and until now seven companies have visited the campus to hire students from our department. All the reputed companies have visited the campus for placements. Our senior batch students were placed in very good companies so I can say that the placements in our college are very good.
