My college life - Career Defining.
Placements: Around 40 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 7 Lacs, average package 4 Lacs, and the lowest was around 3 LPA. The companies that conduct placement drives in our campus are mostly from nearby Chandigarh, and only 3-4 companies visit here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was outstanding. Wi-Fi was available throughout the whole campus, and every student was given a 1GB limit per day. Labs and classrooms were very learning-friendly. The library was good for studying peacefully. The food available in the mess was limited, but medical facilities and sports were also good in college.
Faculty: The teaching in the college was excellent. They were all highly educated, and their teaching quality was superb. They tried to help each and every student in any manner. Yes, the course curriculum does make the students industry-ready and prepares them for placement drives. End-semester exams were of average difficulty, and 40 percent was the pass criteria.
Other: I chose the course because it has a vast scope in the future. I would like to introduce more practical knowledge in the course. Teach Fest was celebrated every year, where all the students could showcase their drills. Scholarships were also available.

A government college is not up to the mark.
Placements: Not even a single placement company was invited to the campus. There wasn't even a placement cell in the campus. All the students of the batch went for off-campus interviews and then got jobs. No internship was provided by the college. No roles were offered.
Infrastructure: There was no hostel for boys on the campus. There was a hostel for girls. The campus was not very big. There were only 2 labs. Wi-Fi also was not present in the college. There was a canteen in the college, but it was not good. Sports were not promoted in the college.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful in the college. They were Master's degree holders. The course was not relevant to the industry. It didn't make the students ready for industry-level jobs. The semester exams were organized after the semester, and there were mid-semester exams also.

My College -The Best place I ever have been to.
Placements: Around 60 percent of the students were placed. The highest package was around 6 Lacs and 4.5 Lacs was average whereas 3 Lacs package was the least. BEBO technologies and Oceana Teach are the major companies to visit here. Around 75 percent got their internship too.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college wad brilliant. Labs and classrooms were study environment friendly and the whole campus had good Wi-Fi connectivity where each student get 1 gb per day. Hostel, food and canteen qualities with average first aid facilities available.
Faculty: Teachers were well qualified and extremely helpful for each and every student. Their teaching quality was pretty upto the mark. You can say that the curriculum make student industry ready if they are fully devoted, end semester are pretty much easier they were not that much difficult.
Other: I chose this course because of its vast future scope qnd its growing everyday in the world. Best thing about my course is its real world applications. I wish could also have some more practical practice. TECH Fest was organized every year fir students to showcase their skills.

Review of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: About 7% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 2.75 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bebo and XenonStack. Almost 30% of students got internships from our college in companies like Bebo, Hoping Minds, Talentelgia, etc. Top roles offered are preparing estimates and budgets, creating accurate project specifications, designing engineering experiments, and creating technical reports for customers.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities like laptops, cameras, printers, projectors, etc. Students can access all these facilities. Wi-Fi is available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are good. Their teaching quality is good. They teach us well.
Other: I opted for this course because it has a very good scope for the future. It is difficult to get admission to the ECE branch.

Our college has a poor location, facilities, and medical services.
Placements: It depends on the seniors and how they are placed. Students really want someone who can help them and teach them how they are placed and improve their skills. Even though parents' teachers' meeting is conducted by the institute, it gives a bad impression on students.
Infrastructure: There is no medical facility nearby the institute, and the condition of the canteen is very poor. This is a combined college containing B.Tech Polytechnic and ITI, but there is a common chemistry lab, and the condition of this lab is so poor that there is a lack of instruments.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. Students forget what they have to do in an exam. We get completely confused about what we have to write on the answer sheet. During exams, the students get mentally very depressed, but there is no way to get out of this.
Other: Our college has no fests, we only have a sports meet once a semester.

    Good faculties of college
Placements: In a batch about 70% students got placed With highest package of 15LPA A student also got placed offcampus with 37LPA in Cred. So I think there are many opportunities for students in this college that are really helpul for them in future and their life.
Infrastructure: There are all basic facilities in our college Hostel Open gym Cafetaria Sports. Our govt college has the best labs under all HPTU colleges One big Auditorium where every function is held atleast once in a month which are really good and the games.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The way of teaching might differ from teacher to teacher. The semester exams are not that difficult. And the curriculum is relevent to particular branch. The main goal of these exams is that the students could learn.
Other: I chose CSE as it's one of the oldest engineering college with CSE and have top faculty.
