Very much satisfied about the college because of the teaching staff.
Placements: Almost 60 students were placed in the course. The cut-off of the course is a bit high, so not many students get admission in it. There are many roles offered in my course. They are Climate change analyst, climatologist, emergency management specialist, and geomorphologist.
Infrastructure: The facilities offered by the college, Borooah, are really good. The building is really good, and the library is excellent. There is a good Wi-Fi facility in our college campus. There is a boys’ hostel under the college campus with very minimum facilities. There are 2 canteens in the college campus. The food price is really affordable for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are really good and friendly. They provide students with easy and helpful methods to learn. The semester exams are not so tough if you attend the college regularly and clear your doubts. And the course is really curriculum-relevant. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I was always interested in studying geography. The best thing about the course is that we can learn more about our Earth if we study geography.

In this college, there are language problems with teachers.
Placements: The placements are not like the technical colleges, it is not an IIT college it is a general degree college so there are no placements. In this college, no companies visit to hire students, but our course is very good.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is not enabled, and the infrastructure is not good. I would rate it 2 stars. Because of covid, gyms and other things are closed. The cleanliness is also not good. They should look after every corner of this college, and the rooms are also not good. Our college has a pond, it is also not clean plastic wrappers and waste are floating over it.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. But the main concern is the teachers think every student is of Assam and Assamese, but there are many students who come from other states so they do not understand Assamese so it is a very big drawback. The semester exams are easy if students study.
Other: Our course is done by limited students so it has more opportunities, and it is good for civil service exams. I wish the teachers speak maximum English. This college will not provide scholarships. Events and fests are not going properly because of covid.
