Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

BMIET college is a good place to learn and live.
Placements: The placement cell is very good, and the place of college is also very good. Teachers help every student to get placed through campus placements. Mostly companies like Infosys, HCL, IBM, etc., visited the campus for placements. Placements in our college are very good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very nice. There are beautiful gardens. There are volleyball court, basketball court, and badminton ground. Labs are good with proper arrangement for students to study. The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi and also with very good speed.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. They help students in study and also during their minor and major projects. Faculty members also help students in their placements. There is a separate placement cell and with very good placements. The library is huge, along with proper seating arrangements for reading. Even laptops are provided in the library to work, which are also connected to the internet.
Other: The college organises events and fests. Star night is also organised and have lots of fun. The campus is also equipped with a free Wi-Fi facility with a very good speed.

Good faculty members, average placements and the infrastructure needs to be improved.
Placements: Infosys is the main recruiter, but few companies like IBM and some other mechanical industries also visit our college and hire eligible and capable students. The packages offered are around 3 lacs per annum approximately. Usually, students who have potential students get on-campus placement.
Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure is not up to the mark. The playground is too small to play games like cricket, football and other space-occupying activities. The laboratories of CSE and IT departments are okay, but other laboratories are not well enough to be considered good. But, the college is seriously working fast on its flaws.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are good in their respective fields. Some departments like mathematics and computer science have very promising and hardworking professors. They complete the whole syllabus on time and help students clear their doubts and problems.
Other: Cosenza (fest & farewell), sports activities and other extra curriculum activities are organised every year successfully with massive participation of students. College is connected to the highway at a distance of 4 kilometres. The college is surrounded by greenery and peace. Usually, the college does not offer any scholarships by itself but helps students get scholarships from the government if they are eligible.

Overall, we can see that this college is good.
Placements: From the senior's batch, 5 placements have been offered. 20% of the students have been placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 3L. The average salary offered is Rs. 2.2L. The placement cell is just OK. You will get the placement only if you have the knowledge in coding and also need decent marks to be eligible. If you have the knowledge, they you can get placed.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility provided here is poor. The labs are good. The classrooms are good. The medical facilities are few. The sports and games facilities are poor. In this college, you have a good library and an environment to study, but the books are not updated. The previous books are good, but they are not updated. The Wi-Fi facility is bad, and the classroom is good.
Faculty: The faculty is above average. It is neither good nor bad. The teaching quality is okay. Their teaching methods are not too much good nor too bad. The student of faculty ratio is 3:1. The industrial visit is arranged once or twice in a year. In the first year, we have visited only once to Yakult. The course curriculum is useful as the college provides you with IP degree which is quite useful.
Other: The crowd in the college is good. The fest is just OK. The campus is bad. The extracurricular activities organised on the campus are just OK. The events occur frequently.

Other: In the first year when I went for college it looked very cool and the placements were amazing. The first two years went on as expected with good teachers, annual fests, cultural events etc. As we entered 3rd Year the college had lost its reputation by then. Admissions became less, many of the teachers left, new teachers who came were not experienced, placements degraded. This was because many colleges came up in the area and BMIET then did not have the same glare to attract students. Things were very slow and the college became very boring. However, Infosys is still visiting the campus and hiring almost 40% of the students. Rest have to struggle in the outside world. The Campus is quite big, there are hostel facility and sports ground. Canteen and library are well maintained. It can become better by hiring experienced staff and the top level management has to work hard.

Other: It is the best college and faculty is also awesome. No compulsion for attending a class. But for placements, you need to struggle, lots of efforts are required. But Delhi crowd is awesome. In our college, you can learn anything, but you need to take care when you’re choosing a stream. In Bhagwan Mahaveer Institute of Engineering and Technology, faculty is very cooperative and helpful. College also organises a fest and various events in a year.
