The college was great earlier, but now, the quality has decreased a lot.
Placements: Only one student from my batch got placed. It is better to try for placements on your own if you are studying in this college. Earlier, the college was good at providing placements, but now, placements are not provided as the new faculty lack skills. The management has started charging high amount from the students. The college has become more like a school.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, the college is the best among all the colleges. There is a huge ground. Every facility is provided on the campus. Wi-Fi facility is very good. Labs and classrooms are air-conditioned. The library was recently constructed and is awesome. It has almost every book required for the students.
Faculty: Except for some senior faculty, none of the faculty is good. Staff in civil and mechanical engineering branches are good, but the faculty in the electrical branch were not even satisfactory. Senior faculty are good. The new staff generally lack skills. Some of the senior teachers have ego problems, especially in my department.
Other: Events are conducted in the college from time to time. Singers are invited to the events. During my tenure, Sharry Maan was invited for the star night.

The best college in North India.
Placements: The placement in our college is average, and many companies are visited in our college for the placements. The average package in our college is about 4 LPA. The placement cell is also there which provides important information about placements. The students with minimum 60 % marks are eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best. All the lab facilities are there. The Wi-Fi facility also there. The canteen and coffee cafes are also available. The library is available with a lot of books. A medical dispensary is also there in our college. The sports meet is organised every year in our college.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well-qualified and very helpful in clearing doubts. There are also tutorial classes for clearing doubts. The student to teacher ratio is 25:1. Smart classes are also used for better understanding of students. We also visited industries like Coca-cola, Thermal power plant and the hydropower plant.

There is a difference between reel life and real life.
Placements: The placement scenario is not very good because all engineering branches except CSE have very few placements. In fact, there are placement drives only for CSE, while the other branches receive online webinars but no placement offers. The medium packages offered to students range from 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has an impressive infrastructure with modern classrooms, labs, and common areas. The library is expansive, offering a vast collection of books and journals, making it an excellent place for study and research. Hostel life is good, but there is no backup system during power cuts, and the food quality is the worst.
Faculty: The faculty is experienced and highly supportive, encouraging a conducive learning environment. The academic programs are well-structured and challenging, designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge for their careers. However, the university exam pattern is totally different from our expectations.

The hub of knowledge and a great experience.
Placements: 45 students are placed in the Electrical Engineering course. A number of companies visit for internship and placement drives, offering different packages according to the skills of students. The students are placed in various companies in Mohali, Chandigarh, and Ludhiana, Punjab. The roles offered include Sales and Technical Person, Project Engineer, Manager, Product Engineer, and Design Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very beautiful. It is very neat and clean. There are many classrooms and labs. A number of facilities are available in our department, such as Wi-Fi and projectors in every classroom. The air conditioning system is provided in our department, but sometimes we face difficulties in summers due to a lack of ventilation. There is not enough space for ventilation.
Faculty: There are several faculty members available for students who are very supportive and creative. They teach us in unique and different ways. The nature of our faculty members is very friendly, and they are very supportive. They help their students in every situation.
Other: I chose this college to become a Sub-Divisional Officer in PSPCL substations. The best thing about my course is that we do different types of experiments, and we enjoy them. However, I would like to improve the infrastructure of my department. A number of events and fests are organized by our college, which are related to technical, non-technical, and cultural activities.
