    There is no such thing as placements as Bareilly college is a government college which provides you with just the degree.

    Big no for Bareilly College.
    Placements: Bareilly College is a government college which does not provide any kind of placements. They just give you a degree and a mark sheet. But they organise "Rozgaar Mela" every year to provide jobs to the students and outsiders can also apply for this mela.
    Infrastructure: I am a student of Geography Department. They don't put any efforts in cleaning the classes, desks and benches, not even washrooms. There is a facility of Wi-Fi but it is only for the professors not for the students. There is a small library for geography students but only students doing Masters can sit and issue books, but a Bachelor’s student cannot issue any books. There is neither a canteen facility nor a medical facility available. There are sports and games available, but not for everyone.
    Faculty: The professors are very disappointing because they judge you on the basis of your caste. They are qualified and literate, but not educated. Teaching quality is low as they teach only in Hindi because majority of the students are of Hindi medium. The curriculum does not make any student industry ready. In semester exam, there is a part of mid semester where the professors manipulate everyone for attendance but in the end, they give marks to every non deserving as well as deserving student. The passing percentage is about 80% .
    Other: It was my mistake to choose this course from Bareilly College. They need to improve each and every thing in that college and mostly in the geography department.

    Review of Bareilly College.
    Placements: Students who score first division in this college are eligible for placements. Approximately 90% of students got placed in this course. MBA course is not available in our college, so there are private sectors for recruitment.
    Infrastructure: The library is excellent. Hostels are very good. Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. Parking facility is available.
    Faculty: All faculty members are from different states. Teachers try to enhance the knowledge of every student for a better future. There are around 100 teachers in this college. Every subject has at least 10 teachers.
    Other: Our campus is free from ragging. Many functions are organised for study purposes.

    Absolutely good and satisfied college and campus
    Placements: Placement were not top notch of this college. Very least companies aqauries have to this college for taking placement . Only 25 percentage of students get placed. And others got nothing. There were many roles offered. Like front deskanager, clerk and something like that.
    Infrastructure: My experience in college and hostel was satisfactory . Cleanliness was decent. Electricity timing was good. And wifi router give decent speed and setup was at every corner of every building. Classroom were cleans and cool . Library was quiet and full of books.
    Faculty: Yes some teachers were very helpful and give everything they have to help you and teach every drop of their knowledge. Exams management was good. All things was in time. Semester was quite difficult to pass on . But the percentage for pass the exam was too low.
    Other: When I pass out this college I was sad and happy too. Because I give my good years to this college make some friend.

    It is an excellent college and I would recommend students to join this college.
    Placements: It was a government college. Almost 80-85% of students got placed in this course. It was the best college for study purposes. Best courses were available at this college.
    Infrastructure: This college was great. Canteen was available. Playground was very good.
    Faculty: Teachers were helpful and knowledgeable. They were very strict. Semester exams were easy.
    Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

    Our college has value for money but the facilities are not good.
    Placements: It is a government college, so there is no such placement facility in our course. No students got any placements. No recruiting companies visited our college. Our college is a typical government college and no such thing happens in our college.
    Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is just okay. Some classrooms are good, but most of the classrooms are in poor condition. There are no proper light facilities in our classrooms. Wi-Fi is not available in our college. We have a library in this college. We have big playgrounds and sports items in our college. I am a day scholar, so I don't have any information about the hostel.
    Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good. All of them are qualified. They have knowledge of their subjects. The teaching styles of some teachers are also good. The course curriculum does not make students industry-ready. We don't have semester exams. We have yearly exams. Exams are moderately difficult. Maximum students pass their exams.

    Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, and for the placement process.
    Placements: There are average percentage is 55-60 %. And also there is no placement programme for B.A. Level graduation. Placement only available for some of the courses they provide us. Placement is completely impossible in this college. So I give poor rating for placement sector at this college.
    Infrastructure: In this college for students only have a classrooms, playground, library, and lots of member of faculty. There is no Wi-Fi neither allowed mobile in campus. And also there is no facility of hostel mess and canteen but parking is available in the campus.
    Faculty: The teachers and faculty has so many experience in his bag but not pour in students brains because the discipline and the time management so poor in this college. In this college average percentage is 55-60%. That is enough for average students. They ake students industry ready.

    Admission FAQs

    Q:   Is B.A. at Bareilly College worth the investment?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

    Is BA at Bareilly College worth the investment?

    After analyzing the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:

    * Placement: The college doesn't offer any placements, and students might face challenges finding employment opportunities. However, students can attend the "Rozgaar Mela" organized annually, which helps students find jobs.
    * Teaching Quality: Professors are qualified, but not always effective in imparting industry-ready skills. Some teachers may prioritize caste over performance, leading to inconsistent grading.
    * Infrastructure: While the college has an excellent library and hostels, other facilities like canteens, medical rooms, and parking areas are inadequate.
    * Faculty Support: Faculty members are generally knowledgeable and supportive, encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities.
    * Course Curriculum: The curriculum doesn't prepare students for the industry, and some subjects may be outdated.

    Considering these factors, we would say that pursuing a BA at Bareilly College comes with its limitations. While the college offers a relatively affordable education (almost zero fees), students may struggle to secure placements and may require additional certifications or diplomas to boost their employability.

    However, students who are interested in pursuing higher studies or looking for alternative career paths might still consider Bareilly College due to its reputation and availability of resources.

    Here's a summary bullet point format:

    * Pros:
    + Affordable education (almost zero fees)
    + Excellent libraries and hostels
    + Knowledgeable and supportive faculty
    * Cons:
    + Limited placement opportunities
    + Inconsistent teaching quality
    + Outdated curriculum
    + Insufficient infrastructure (canteens, medical rooms, etc.)
    + Difficulty securing employment without additional certifications/diplomas
