Good college to get the job done.

Placements: Its good in the beginning of the placement sessions. Try to get placed when placement season begins, somewhere in the early September time. Later on the quality detoriates. You can rely on professors for clearing basics but you need to put on your efforts on to some subjects if you really wish to move and stand out. At the time of my placement season Tech Mahindra came in first, then there was Byju and Amazon, both offering BPO jobs. You can go into Amazon and then diverse your eay out. But byju...

About Bengal college of engineering and technology.

Placements: Placements are good for IT and CSE branch. Faculty members are good for mechanical engineering. Mechanical too have placements by lag behind in core sectors. Basically the placement is good. Anyone have a nice and basic concept can crack placement. Companies such as TCS, techmahindra, and triveni turbines used to visit the campus every year. So there are no such problems in placement.

Overall facilities are good in our college. Faculties, syllabus, food every important thing is good.

Placements: Placements are good. Big multinational companies came here for placement. Tech Mahindra, Amazon etc. like these companies came in our college. They give very high package to the students. But the ratio of placed students is low than the unplaced students. Overall our placement are good than many others college's in west Bengal.

My experience at BCET and Durgapur.

Placements: I am working for BPO in Vap Technology, Salt Lake, Kolkata and this was not by the college. It was by my senior, and she referred us, through which I got my first job. As for now, college shows much more placement, but they provide the jobs of labour class like the currently heavy vehicle driver.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: Placements are good in the non-core branch. But the college is still trying to tackle with companies and will give good placement record in east zone. The reputed companies like Amazon, TCS, L&T visited the college. 75% students were selected in the on-campus placement.

Good in library and software placement.

Placements: The placements for software streams are good that if for computer Science, information technology, electronic and communication engineering are good. The placements foe electrical departments are moderate and the civil and mechanical engineering placements are nearly zero.

Good college in Durgapur and scores a good rank in West Bengal.

Good infrastructure, placements are also bit good.

Placements: This college is good for the average students also. I am pursuing ECE from the 2015-19 batch. Our college's placement is pretty good. Many well-known companies visit our college for placements like TCS, BYJU, Tech Mahindra and many more. The average package of our last batch which was of 2013-2017, it was 2.4 LPA approximately.

Everything is good apart from the placement.

Placements: The placement records are decreased from year to year. From 2011 to 2015, the percentage of placed students got decreased from around 65% to 15%. The only MNC which hires is TCS. In 2015, TCS hired 38 students only for the post of an associate software engineer. Few small companies also come for placement, but those are of no use as some of them are fake, or some will give very low salary. The college does not provide internships. Only the students have to complete mandatory training from any co...

Really good infrastructure, but the faculty members are not up to the mark.

Placements: Some of my seniors were placed at good companies and some in average and some newly growing companies. Almost 70% of the students were placed according to my knowledge, this year. As I know the highest salary which was offered was 6.2 lakhs per year. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Bentley, BYJU'S, Tech Mahindra, Think and Learn, Collabera, Asilicom, etc. Almost good posts are assigned to the new employees or the students. There is a placement cell also.

Moderately satisfied by my college.

Placements: The placements of the computer science branch, IT branch and the ECE are good. Here, the core branches are not getting proper placements and packages are not too good. Sometimes joining is not there even after recruitment. The core branch students are also getting jobs in marketing companies, so we can say that a good placement is only in the IT sectors.

Good stereotypes are running the administration and the students well, and they are the same.

Placements: The placements are moderately good with the major employers being TCS, Tech Mahindra, and the other popular companies like SAP Labs and BYJU's(this comes for BDA only) hire the students. The smaller or less popular companies come in for the recruitment over an average that is around(less than) 50%.

An average college in Bengal.

Placements: The college provides very less opportunities for student. The placements for the core branch are very less and the placement training is not working well enough, so the students are not getting jobs in their core company.

The best college for engineering.

Placements: In this college, placement is very good. Almost 80% of the students got placement from different companies like Scope. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA, and the highest package is 30 LPA. There is also a placement cell in this college which is also very useful and helpful.

This is really a good college to study.

Placements: I am in the 3rd year, so I haven't attended the placements till now. But for my seniors, I had seen placements were very well in the college. Many companies like Mahindra, Wipro, Amazon, Byjus, TCS etc. visited my college. 45% to 60% students were placed. Most of them are from CSE and IT department. Highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Students get a job offer in every department in every company. It depends on the student's talent. 50% of the students got internships ...

A lot to be achieved by BCET.

Placements: Placements of the college were quite decent with most companies from IT background, recruiting students with an average pay of 3.3 LPA. A number of core companies visited our campus. On an average, 70% to 75% students were placed on campus, and others managed to get jobs through off-campus.

Good placements till now. Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements were good enough for my senior batch. Almost 50-60% students were placed. The highest salary offered was about 8 lacs package per annum and the lowest salary offered was about 2.5 lacs package per annum. Many good companies visited the campus like TCS, Bentley, etc. including many others. I don't know till now what kind of roles are offered to students, but If I get to know, I'll surely inform. 40-50% students got the internship from college. No idea about the highest, lowest and aver...

Overall, an average review as it doesn't give satisfactory placements for the civil and mechanical.

Placements: The placement of the college is the best for the CSE, IT, ECE, EE, and EEE, but moderate for the civil and the mechanical. The highest package offered to the students was about Rs. 10 lakhs in the Google, while the lowest package offered was about Rs. 1.5 lakhs in the Manlift. Most o the students scored between 7-8 CGPA. Last year, the placement package offered mainly ranged between the Rs. 3 lakhs to 8 lakhs.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, quite good placements. The infrastructure is not bad.

Placements: Good placement for impressive students. Students with knowledge rather than SGPA are preferred. Seniors were placed good. Percentage of placements was about 15% to 20% for the students of CSE branch. The highest salary offered was about 9 LPA to 10 LPA. Amazon, Biju, Tech Mahindra, TCS and other famous companies visited for on-campus recruitment.
