Our college is not worthy for newcomers.

Placements: Out of 125 students, only 5 to 8 students got placed from our department. The salary offered was less than Rs. 15,000 per month. Capgemini was the only good company which visited the college. But still, no offer letters are given by the company. Our college doesn't provide any internships and vocational training programme. Students face a lot of problems during placements because they don't have internships.

I am dissatisfied with placement cell, but the college is good in academic and facilities.

Placements: I have done B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from Bengal College of Engineering and Technology Durgapur in the year 2019. About 20% of the students got placed, which is very low. The highest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 1.2 LPA and the average salary package offered will be 1.8 LPA. Companies visiting our college are Genpact, Patanjali, Capgemini and many marketing companies also. None of the students got an internship from com...

The location of the college is very good.

Placements: Placements in our college are very poor. Only one or two companies visit our college are good, and we do not know the name of the rest of the companies that visit our college for placements. If any good companies visit our college, then the job profile is not good. I suggest you do not depend on college placements and try for an off-campus drive.

Review of Bengal College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: About 33% of the students from our course got placed from our college. During 4th year, better-recognised colleges are able to invite MNCs who offer the average salary package starting from 3 LPA to 7 LPA. Smaller companies offer a salary package starting from 1.8 LPA. Capgemini, Byju's, Tech Mahindra, etc., visit here for placements. On average of 80%-90% of the students go for training or internship in companies like DVC, BSNL, etc. The top role offered here is web development.

It was quite good to study and learn here. I loved it.

Placements: The placement ratio of our college (Bengal College of Engineering And Technology) is an average. Percentage ratio of our college in 2019 is overall good as compared with other colleges. The highest package is about 3.6 lacs, average package is approximately 2.4-3 lacs only and in the worst scenario, it goes to 1 Lacs. Most of the companies are hiring the students in marketing role only. Top companies of our college is TCS, BYJU'S, JARO etc. Most placement in CSE and ECE branches.

I am satisfied by doing graduation from this college as it provides good placements.

Placements: It is the best college in Durgapur for B.Tech and Polytechnic. Maximum students get placed in the final year before passing out from college. Concentrix from Noida is hiring students. TCS which is the top company in our country offered placements in the college. A maximum number of students get placed while pursuing the course of engineering.

It is the best college to get a job and is affordable.

Placements: The college provided almost 100% of placements. Good companies visited the campus and offered good salary packages. Internships were also provided by placements drives which is helpful to get a job off-campus. They trained us about interview, communications and personality developments.

It is a good college in this area.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college has all types of facilities. Various labs are also available on campus. The college provides a Wi-Fi facility for teachers and students but with slow speed for students. The library is great, and we can borrow books. Classrooms and other rooms in our college are in good condition. LAN connection is also available for every room in the hostels.

The average salary package offered was 2.2 LPA. I don't even remember the names of the companies that visited our college for placements. A top role offered to the students is a software developer. Not so satisfied with the outcome which was expected.

Placements: The highest package offered was 6 LPA and the lowest was 2 LPA. Companies like GE, Neo Metalliks, Shyam Steel came for recruiting purpose. Indian Navy also came to our college for Permanent Commission Selection shortlisting, but only 4-5 were selected. Most of the companies came for marketing job profiles and large numbers of students were left with no option but to opt for those job profiles. Training and Placement Cell is not worthy of getting the students placed.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and good faculty members but they were not much experienced.

Placements: About 30% - 40%of the students got placed in 2019. An average salary package offered by the companies was 3 LPA. Our college did not provide internships. Students had to do it on your own. There is an institute nearby college called AICT which provides internship in various courses and also provide assistance in building projects.

Poor management, Faculty was average and placement was very poor.

Placements: Near about 15 to 20 percent students got placed and the average package was around 2 LPA, the highest package was 3 Lacs and no one got a single internship. Capgemini was the top company in my college which was offering 3.5 LPA for computer Science freshers and overall placement was the worst. Placement cell was not doing its job properly.
