I am not satisfied with our college for the culture, and there are many restrictions here.
Placements: The highest salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. Companies like Cipla, Mankind, Sun Pharma, Scindia, and Glenmark visit our college for placements. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered in our course was 8 LPA by Cipla.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure and facilities. Book bank facility is available, and six library cards for each student are provided. The library is open for 11 hours Monday to Saturday for students. Classrooms are good, and fans are not making noise. Earlier, the college provided Wi-Fi. Now college does not provide Wi-Fi. The food served in a mess is average.
Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. Most of the faculty members are extremely supportive and have more than 10 years of experience. Faculty members have obtained their higher education from eminent institutes like IIT and NIT. Faculty members help the students to complete the course curriculum smoothly.
Other: If you are taking admission in this college, then take admission in the CSE branch because placements of this branch are good.

I would recommend joining this college if you want the CSE branch.
Placements: The highest salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. About 70% of the students from our course get internships. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Extramark, Byju's, etc., visit our college for placements. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered in our college was 12 LPA by Byju's.
Infrastructure: BCE buildings are well-furnished and the library section is also very good. The lights are very good at our college. Book bank facilities are available and three library cards to each faculty are provided by the university. The library is open for 11 hours daily and on Sundays too.
Faculty: It has the best faculty members with wide teaching experience. Most of the faculty members are either master's degree holders or doctorates in their respective subjects. The facility members impart rich knowledge and experience.
Other: I opted for this college because it has good infrastructure, facilities, and faculty members.

It's pretty much good if you talk about a cheap college. But I would not recommend it for any one.
Placements: Placements are quite average. On an average 3-4 lacs package. Mostly more than half of the strength of batch gets a placement but it cannot be considered as a good point. So try to avoid this college. The highest package goes to 12 lacs and the lowest 1-3 lacs. College will arrange for the internship programs in the final year. Top recruitment companies are -wipro infotech etc.
Infrastructure: Course is the same as MAKAUT mentioned. Hostel is separate for 1st year. Anti ragging campus. Small playground. Cricket tournament and football tournaments are carried out on another campus. Events used to held before corona but once closed it's still closed. Hostel has medical facilities, canteen is not good. Library is small but you'll get books you want. Infrastructure is 7/10.
Faculty: Faculty members are good but not consistent. They some times call faculty members from their another branch which is more prosperous than this one. So if you choose, choose that another branch which is BCET. Semester exams are carried out by the guidelines of MAKAUT so it's pretty same for any other college.

The college infrastructure is really very good, and the placements are average.
Placements: I was from the CSE department and passed out in 2020. Our college placements are very good. Almost 45% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered till now is around 9 LPA, the lowest package is around 1.2 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Many reputed companies like TCS, Mahindra and sales companies like BYJU's, Extramarks, etc., recruit students from our college. There is no internship offered in our college. If you want to do an internship, you will have to apply for it outside. Roles offered were mainly of software engineers, assistant engineers etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel facilities are quite good. There is a Wi-Fi network everywhere on the campus, as well as in the hostel. There is a library, and books for all streams are easily available. There is a sports ground, and also medical facilities. The food quality in the hostel is average. We have a very good canteen and mess where hygienic food is served. We have good transportation facilities.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are very good, supportive and helpful. They are highly qualified and have very good knowledge in their specific domain. Teaching quality is good, and they provide a better learning environment. The course curriculum is very well structured, and we get a deep understanding of the industry.
Other: I opted for this course because, in the industrialization world, this course will provide me ample opportunities. The curriculum and diversity here are good. More industry-related projects must be provided, and we have been associated with various inter and intra-extracurricular activities.

It is a below-average college. I suggest you not to take admission here if you are from West Bengal.
Placements: There is only CSE branch here. If you join this college in other branches, then you get transferred to BCET, which is the branch of this same college. There is a placement cell for both BCE and BCET. Every company visits here to offer only marketing roles but not for SDE roles. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Byju's offered the salary package of 10 LPA in the previous year, which is offered to one student. Almost 50% of the students got placed. Overall, placements are below average.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good here, but I suggest you not to expect that it is the top campus. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is also good, and you get two PCs with internet facility in the library. The hostel stay is awesome, but the quality of the food served is very bad. The hostel serves only vegetarian food, but it is not value for money, so you have to depend on Zomato. Due to bad water, about 50% of the students of our batch are affected with jaundice, including me also. The hostel is situated next to the college building on the same campus, and there is a playground. Medical facilities are very good with ambulance facilities. Hostel warden is not very strict. There is a ladies hostel, which is shared by BCE and BCET. They provide free 1 GB data of low-speed internet facility every day for one student.
Faculty: The course curriculum is decided by MAKAUT. There are limited teachers. Most of them are helpful, but they are not experienced and skilled. Some good faculty members have resigned from our college in 2020. The teaching quality is not satisfying here, but teachers conduct every class. Overall, faculty members and course are average here.
Other: Our college doesn't organise cultural fests. Only one entrepreneur fest is conducted here, but it is not enjoyable. Freshers party is not enjoyable, and campus life is very bad. There is a sports summit, and our college celebrates Biswakarma Puja and Saraswati Puja. It is the worst college, and I am not satisfied after taking admission here. I suggest you not to join here.

It's good if you want to pursue engineering but better options are still available.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of the students are placed in our college. Only service based companies come to our college like byjus. If you want to go in marketing sector then this is good choice for you. Patanjali also came and many other different companies come to our college. Our college do not provide internship to students and top roles offered in course are software developer and in marketing.
Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, it's good but hostel is not very worthy to live in. I would highly recommend girls to live in PG rather than hostel because of food and behaviour of hostel management. We have library where books are available from 10 am to 5 pm. We do have different infrastructure for various departments.
Faculty: Coming for faculty point of view, MAKAUT syllabus is highly outdated and even professors are not upto mark. They still use old teaching methodology for teaching students and do not focus on advancement with technology.
You have to get marks on the basis of how much you study. You can't be dependent on college study for placements.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to become an engineer and innovate. Using new methodology will let students gain more interested in this course.
We don't have fest so I wanted that our college should organise the fest. Coming to surrounding it's great.
