I am not satisfied with our college for the culture, and there are many restrictions here.

Placements: The highest salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. Companies like Cipla, Mankind, Sun Pharma, Scindia, and Glenmark visit our college for placements. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered in our course was 8 LPA by Cipla.

I would recommend joining this college if you want the CSE branch.

Placements: The highest salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. About 70% of the students from our course get internships. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Extramark, Byju's, etc., visit our college for placements. In the previous year, the highest salary package offered in our college was 12 LPA by Byju's.

It's pretty much good if you talk about a cheap college. But I would not recommend it for any one.

Placements: Placements are quite average. On an average 3-4 lacs package. Mostly more than half of the strength of batch gets a placement but it cannot be considered as a good point. So try to avoid this college. The highest package goes to 12 lacs and the lowest 1-3 lacs. College will arrange for the internship programs in the final year. Top recruitment companies are -wipro infotech etc.

The college infrastructure is really very good, and the placements are average.

Placements: I was from the CSE department and passed out in 2020. Our college placements are very good. Almost 45% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered till now is around 9 LPA, the lowest package is around 1.2 LPA, and the average package is around 5 LPA. Many reputed companies like TCS, Mahindra and sales companies like BYJU's, Extramarks, etc., recruit students from our college. There is no internship offered in our college. If you want to do an internship, you will have to ap...

It is a below-average college. I suggest you not to take admission here if you are from West Bengal.

Placements: There is only CSE branch here. If you join this college in other branches, then you get transferred to BCET, which is the branch of this same college. There is a placement cell for both BCE and BCET. Every company visits here to offer only marketing roles but not for SDE roles. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA-5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Byju's offered the salary package of 10 LPA in the previous year, which is offered to one student. Almost 50% ...

It's good if you want to pursue engineering but better options are still available.

Placements: Almost 80 percent of the students are placed in our college. Only service based companies come to our college like byjus. If you want to go in marketing sector then this is good choice for you. Patanjali also came and many other different companies come to our college. Our college do not provide internship to students and top roles offered in course are software developer and in marketing.

This college is good. They support the students.

Placements: In my course many students are placed this year. Packages are offered to the students as they are required. Many companies comes for placement such as TCS, Mahindra and many other companies. Nice amount of students got internship and they are placed in good companies. Many top roles are offered to you as per your eligibility.

It is not a good college to do engineering.

Placements: Around 70% of the students got placed from college. But most of the companies were either BPO or marketing companies only. The highest salary package offered in our college was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was less than 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Capgemini, TCS, etc. Mostly role of assistant system engineer is offered.

The best private college in Durgapur, West Bengal.

Placements: Our college placement status is far better than other colleges in our Durgapur. It is because our college is getting better with time and day by day it is increasing its capability to compete with other colleges. So the faculty members also try their best in all field to help their own students.

Good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are not good in the college, but if you have got the calibre, then no one can stop you. The companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Direct visited the college. A very less amount of students got the job in their hand, and very less number of people got their job letters.

Good placement, infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placement scheme of our college is average. Various companies are coming throughout the year to hire students. At least 50% of the students are getting placed. The 2017 batch passing students got placed, and a girl got the maximum package of 7 lacs per annum, and I think, that's enough for a graduate without any experience.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of worst faculty and their teaching methods and worse placements.

Placements: Placement record of our college has never been good. Most of the companies which come for placements, take the students for BPO and sales jobs. Very few technology-based companies come, and the number of students taken by them is also very few. The placement percentage is not good. The highest salary offered is 7.2 lacs p.a. and the lowest salary is 1.2 lacs p.a. They don't provide internship from college.

Not satisfied with the placement and faculty.

Placements: The placements were as if they did not take place. No one knows where the companies exist. There can be better placements rather than just the fake news of companies coming to the college. The placement officer is not concerned whether anyone gets a job or not. The placement team is least bothered to bring companies to the college.

The college is good but many things are still to be improved.

Placements: Some good companies such as TCS, Byju's, Amazon.in, etc. conducted on-campus recruitment drive. Placements were fairly done. Many deserving candidates got placed in well-known companies, on-campus and off-campus as well. The only drawback is that the college doesn't make efforts for the preparation like any other institute neither conducts any industrial visit.

Good college in Durgapur as compared to others with all the proper facilities provided.

Placements: Placement over here is good. Companies approaching the colleges are offering a minimum package of 3 lacs per annum. The number of software visiting are more core companies. But still, the students of core branches are getting placed. The major companies which come for placement are Tech Mahindra, Think And Learn, SAP Labs, ASilico with quite suitable packages. The college also provide references to the students who are eligible for it.

Safe and secure college but require more development.

Placements: TCS, Tech Mahindra, MeMe recruited students. Placement is not so good. They are recruiting fewer students. The eligibility criterion is high. Approx. 30 percent of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 300000/annum and the lowest was Rs. 150000. Mostly, off-campus placements are there, very few on campus. I think 1-3 percent students got an internship from the college.

College days - a period well spent!

Placements: I was placed in my final year in a Bangalore based MNC. The placement of my college was more than average. Even though we were the first batch of our college, our college made all possible arrangements to get through various on-campus drives. 60% of students were successfully placed. Highest salary offered was 30000-40000, lowest was 12000-16000 and the average salary was 20000-28000. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Thoughtworks, Tech Mahindra etc. visited our campus. Absolutely dissatisfied of facilities and faculties.

Placements: Placements in Bengal College of Engineering and Technology for Women (now Bengal college of Engineering) are not very good. Hardly 5 to 10 students got placed in the campus placements while the others try their own at off-campus placements. The teachers are very poor, especially in the electronics and communication engineering department. Whatever the students achieve, they achieve on their own with minimum support of the college and faculty members. I was in electronics and communication engine...

Journey that includes some good and some bad experiences.

Placements: I have completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and not a single company has come for recruitment in my branch. Only software companies are coming to hire students. Only 20-30% students got placed from my department. Companies like TCS, Wipro, OBO, etc. are coming for recruitment. Almost all the students got internships from the college.

A private college started in 2009, good college, hostel is survivable and faculty members are friendly. On-campus recruitment needs a little more time but well that's the case of any college that has not completed 10 years, when job market for engineers have crashed throughout India.
