Good compact college if you want to enjoy and study both but size and location of the college is odd

Placements: 1)Placement percentage depends on the requirements of IT companies and other companies and I am lucky that in 2019 my current year requirement is high, results around 60% of our department and overall 40% student placed till now many while we are in 7th semester that is starting of 4th year, and now many to go. 2) the highest salary offered 11 Lacs per annum and the lowest 2.8 Lacs per annum, average 3.5 Lacs per annum. 3) Top recruiters are LTI, ITC, TCS, COGNIZANT. 4) Software developer is ...

It is a home in Bengal away from my home.

Placements: The placements are pretty decent. More companies come for IT, CSE, and ECE streams. The companies like TCS, IGATE, IBM, Amazon, etc., comes with the highest package ranging from 10 lacs per annum to 3.14 lacs per annum. The college needs to work on getting more companies for Biotechnology.

BIT (Techno group), a college worth studying in

Placements: Placements in BIT is looked after by the TIG. TIG does conduct some recruitment processes for the entire Techno Group. So what I have seen is that a lot of companies do recruit at least 80 percent of the total students. Unfortunately, during the year 2013, many fake companies also made their mark in BIT. But all in all, I would sum up that BIT provides ample opportunities for their students to get placed in renowned level-5 organisations.

Amazing people are in and around the college with lovely faculty and college staff.

Placements: Last year, the placement was good and 84% of students were placed in various companies. Many went for higher education in and around the world. But this year, there was no such record. IT companies are coming down slowly and gradually. One must have a bucket of knowledge to grab a job in the desired IT sector. The highest package was around 6 lakhs and lowest was 2 lakhs.

Not very satisfied but has to cope up with it as I haven't performed well.

Placements: Placements are average as it is in every private engineering college. The highest package has been 3.5 LPA and the lowest goes to even 1 lakhs. TCS, Infosys, Wipro and many startups are the main recruiters. No such internship facilities are available and there is very less industrial acquaintance.

Good faculty and good placements. So overall can be said that it is good college to study.

Placements: Good in placements. The college has a good percentage of placements. Though here we can't get a high package, everyone gets placements. The average salary is approx 3.5 lacs p.a. which if shown nowadays is not so bad, as nowadays, it's too tough to get jobs and by studying here we can get an average package of 3.5 lacs. From 3rd year onwards, several trainings are arranged by the college for the development of the students.

Some marketing companies also visited the campus like Think and Learn, and other companies like CGI and Capgemini offered jobs to many students as well.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: Till 2016, the placement scenario was good. But from the last two years, the placement percentage has fallen a bit. Earlier placement percentage was 75%. Now it is not possible to tell the current percentage as placement is still going on. Some of the companies visited were TCS, Virtusa, Polaris, etc.
