The college has a good atmosphere and faculty members.
Placements: Placement procedure that students shall adhere to attendance basic need and students should score good marks. At least students should write a good research paper, and it should be published as well. Before applying for the recruitment procedure, students have to give aptitude test. Students should also have good practical knowledge.
Infrastructure: I haven't opted for the hostel. But people say that the accommodation is good, but the food is average. The hostel is secured with CCTV cameras and 24 hours security personnel. There are multiple TVs and entertainment areas. There are rooms which are provided with air-conditioners and TVs for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are good at what they teach, and they teach in a very efficient manner so that we can easily understand the subject and do good. Classes they take has both practical and theoretical knowledge, and they teach us using smart classes, showing us video and presentation, which is good. Reachers also have ample of experience, and they understand us well. The course curriculum is well-planned and formed according to university guidelines. The favourite subject in our course is marketing and trading of forest product, which we are yet to study. I am very excited about basic botany, forest engineering and survey, wood product and their uses, the facility of soil to mathematics, and there are many other courses.
Other: The first time when I visited the BFIT campus, I liked its environment. Classes are taught well with practicals and not just limited to classroom discussions. There are excellent facilities and great resources for studying. They also provide scholarships on both merit and sports-based. You will be awarded 100% scholarship if you have scored more than 93% in your class 12th and a CGPA of 8 in your graduation. Almost 50% of scholarship is provided to students who have scored 90% in class 12th and a CGPA of 7.5 in graduation.

If you want an excellent college life in Dehradun, BFIT is for you.
Placements: The placement procedure depends on the attendance of the students, and they should score good marks. Students should have good practical and theoretical knowledge about the course, and all this information has been provided by our seniors.
Infrastructure: When I joined in BFIT campus, I fell in love with the environment. Classes are taught well with practicals and are not just limited to classroom discussions. Our college has excellent facilities and great resources for studying. Now I am in my final year, and I'm really glad that I have chosen this college. The gender ratio depends upon the type of course you select. There is no such race, religion and gender discrimination. Our college conducts a lot of extracurricular activities and has everything to offer you.
Faculty: The course curriculum is well planned and formed according to university guidelines. My favourite subject in our course is marketing and trading of forest product, which we are yet to study. However, I am very excited to study basic botany, forest engineering and survey, wood product and their uses, the fertility of soil to mathematics and more courses. However, by considering a few subjects, this subject is amazing, and I like studying it. After this lockdown, once if our college reopens, it will organise an industrial visit, for which the whole class is excited. Faculty members are good, and they teach in a very efficient manner so that we can easily understand the subject and do good. Classes conducted include both practical and theory, and they teach us using smart classrooms and show us video and presentation, which are good. Teachers also have ample of experience, and they understand us well.
Other: Our college organises an annual fest named Rangreza, and other than that, all the festivals are celebrated. Our college also organises events during every festival and a lot of other co-curricular and every kind of sports events for students. I like to hang out with my friends around the campus. The campus atmosphere is beautiful, and every student will enjoy here. Activities conducted around the campus are good, and I never thought that I would participate in our college festival. However, I joined an organisation team, where we organised the inter-college festival, and this memory will always be cherished. It is moderate to take admission in this college, and you have to score good percentage in school and have to write entrance exam followed by a face to face interview. My school friends and siblings studied in BFIT, and they never complained about it. BFIT fee is also reasonable, and it was the major thing for me to take admission here and also due to my parent's suggestions.

Infrastructure is good and faculty members are fine.
Placements: Placements are not that good in our institution; it is the same with our batch and seniors. Around 50% of students got placed in companies, and the packages offered were also not that high. Companies that visited our campus are Bharti Bios, FIS Solutions, Policy Bazaar, etc. Roles offered in placement are forest product purchasing manager, plantation and resort manager, in research and development sector, etc. We need to search for companies by ourselves and do the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good on our campus. Wi-Fi is working good, and medical support is also available for the students. Labs and classrooms are clean and tidy. Canteen provides different kinds of food and lots of options. Since students are from different parts of India, they serve different kinds of varieties for students. Hostels are of different kinds; Rs. 50,000 PA for a standard quad, Rs. 65,000 PA for a deluxe quad, Rs. 85,000 PA for deluxe two sharing and Rs. 75,000 PA for deluxe three sharing.
Faculty: Faculty members have a great experience and are very talented in their fields. Courses are well-arranged, and teaching methods are quite effective. We also got a chance to visit the industries nearby and a chance to visit more places during the internship. Due to great faculty and teaching, our college was awarded the best multi-disciplinary college in India, best emplacement college in India and much more.
Other: Events, exhibitions and fests are organised annually. It was a lot of fun and full of enjoyment other than the academic part. Sports and co-curricular activities are also very popular, or I should say the discipline which binds all the diverse cultures together.

The college is good for the students who are seeking improvement.
Placements: As a forestry student, campus recruitment for placement is not possible, and internship is not necessary for the course as well. There are a lot of placement offers for another course/subjects like management, MBA/BBA, IT, etc. I had noticed that placements for airline recruitment like cabin crew/air hostess were also done often.
Infrastructure: The facilities are average. There is a free Wi-Fi only for the hosteller which was paid by them. The classrooms are also fine but not outstanding because one shared table was fixed with two chairs. I am not satisfied with the library they provide because I am a book lover or maybe a bookaholic to some extent. I could not find all the books I want to read. The books can be issued for 10 days, and 3 books are issued at once, and the late return fine is Rs. 10 per day for one book which is a little amount. There is a medical room which was not utilised by me at all, but the existence made me feel safety somehow. About the sports and games, I am not literally into it, but we have had a techno Jashn once a year which is all about the sports and activities. The college had a basketball court, badminton ground, a music room and a space for the cricket ground. The lab was fine but not excellent, barely fit for studying.
Faculty: The teachers and students relationship was close and friendly. The things that I cannot take is that there is barrier among the students with the teachers' relation. For example, some of the students were more polite and good to the teacher pretending to be like a good student to the teacher who always works well to the teachers' mind. He/she gets extra credit and extra mark on anything that is going on as an activity. The teaching method was not good enough. As a college standard, taking notes through dictation all the time is not good which is done in most of the class even in other colleges as well. Most of the teacher doesn't know how to give lectures in English and can barely speak as well which is a bit problem for the kids who do not know Hindi as the teaching is mostly in Hindi.
Other: There is a function for freshers every year which is called freshers night, and there is a DJ night and this is a crowded campus party, safe enough and are strictly monitored. There are some other events which are frequently called out the past years which is mainly about the lesson activities for improvement.

Placements: 100 percent of placement at bfit that too starting from 30k they have tie up with almost big companies and every year placements happen in our college which provides jobs for almost every students and they have tie up with big companies all over india
Infrastructure: Wifi available all over campus good classrooms nice library cafetearea is really nice place to hangout with friends and they conduct extra curicular activities every year like freshers parties are unforgettable,tech festivals happen all important days are celebrated sports day arts day its awesome
Faculty: Highly qualified faculty really nice they are very friendy its very easy to pass the semster exams there.faculties and management board is really good and helpful providing and assisting us always. They will be always help you whenever u need them. Its really nice thing in the college
