Not the best but good, and it can improve.

Placements: There is no percentage of students placed in this course. There is no mention of the highest, lowest, or average package here because we don't have placements at all; there are no internships with any companies, and students must seek roles on their own.

Infrastructure: There are no facilities of Wi-Fi infrastructure is pretty well. Washrooms are not cleaned. Classrooms are not cleaned for several days. Students need some exposure field work so they can study properly about the subject. I don't know about the hostel.

Faculty: Exams are like every other university out there. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good. I don't know about the student industry. Exams are difficult. The percentage criteria is about 33% to pass the examination.

Other: I have interest in my course. It is the study of nature. I am always curious about nature, more fieldwork, and exposure to students.

It is a peculiar course offered by the department in forestry.

Placements: There is no direct placement from our college so students have to find their own opportunities to succeed. Top recruitment companies that hire students from our field are WII ( Wildlife Institute of India), WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), the Titli Foundation, etc. Most of the students find internships in the 2nd or 3rd year.

Infrastructure: In our university, the classrooms are good, ventilated, and spacious. Labs are equipped with instruments. No Wi-Fi facility is available on campus. Our department has its own library. The whole college has 2 canteens in which good quality food is served. Labs contain all the necessary things and stuff related to forests.

Faculty: Teachers in our university are qualified and very knowledgeable. Teachings quality is also good. The course curriculum mainly focuses on skills rather than bookish knowledge. Semester exams are easy and the passing percentage is above 33.33%.

Other: There is not much rush in this course. It focuses on the conservation of nature and wildlife. One can easily follow their passion if related to biodiversity and forests like wildlife photography, etc. Regular seminars are arranged within the department and hosted. The speakers are mainly from foreign backgrounds. Fest is organised once a year.

Placements: Kumaun University Placement Comparison 2023 vs 2022: There are exams for internships at our college every year for students who want an internship in top companies like Wipro, etc. The total number of students placed increased by 341 in 2023 compared to 2022. The average UG package increased by Rs. 0.45 LPA in 2023 compared to 2022.

Infrastructure: Yes, the facilities are really good, and many useful books are available in libraries. The labs are well-equipped as well. Great quality in labs and classrooms are well-settled, and an awesome library for reading. All books are amazing and knowledgeable, available in the college. The food in the canteen is good, and medical facilities are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very good, and they are well-qualified. Yes, for a clear pass in the semester examination, the candidate should score at least 50% marks of the total of all the subjects. It is easy to clear the semester exam if you study well, on time.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: It is a government college so don't have placement facility. Students should have good relation with professors and seniors. They assist you in getting you the perfect picture of internship, or jobs. In my opinion, not all courses get pre-placements, but only professional courses do, at last. Semester, students get opportunities to sit in an interview round according to the cutoff of the companies.

Infrastructure: Although I didn't take part in any sports activities, the sports facilities were very good in my college. They said that wifi was available, but I never got to use it. It is a beautiful environment so the studies will go properly and flexible. The teachers coordination with students is very fluent and in good manner. I don't like the class bench arrangement, it was uncomfortable for sitting there. The exams were held in semester wise. 2 exams are held in a year. The few students got back in exams but a lot got good marks.

Faculty: The faculty are very supportive and well-qualified. They explain everything based on their experience in the law field, which you will find interesting. If you study well. You can score a good percentage; it all depends on how dedicated you are to your studies. Our teachers are qualified. They have done their Masters and Ph.D. for the subject they are teaching us. Faculty members support the students and also the teachers. The exams for semester take place in proper contexts as they strictly follow the rules and regulations.

Other: It had all the things required for a college life, and its upon the student to choose wisely given the choices. The course curriculum was well-structured and provided a good balance of theory and practical skills. I was very satisfied according to facilities for me and I mostly like sports area .Things I like liked in Kumoun University:- 1- Availability of all the major courses. 2-affordable fee structure. 3-Great infrastructure with modern technology and Resources. 4-Environment of the campus is very good. 5-Excellent Faculty. The campus was quite beautiful, with plenty of greenery and open spaces.

It has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The college does not provide any placement in our course. As this is a bachelor's course, the people doing this course opt for higher studies like post-graduation in the same course, and after that, one can crack the forestry entrance exam easily.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities provided by the college are extremely good. One can access a Wi-Fi facility on campus as well as in the hostels. There are labs for our practicals. Everything in the hostel is good, and the food served is acceptable. The campus is ragging free.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our studies. All the teachers are qualified in their subjects. Their teaching quality and the teaching manner is expected as a government college. The course we are studying is included in the forest entry exam, so it makes us ready for our future competitive exams. Our lecturers have a deep study of their subjects.

Other: I have chosen this course because I opted for arts in 10+2, and I am a below-average student. The best thing about our course is that the course includes the syllabus for the competitive exams of the forestry department. The college every year conducts the fest for the students. Our college also conducts extracurricular activities, so students can opt for this college if they do not have enough money to spend on a private college. Each student can take part in extracurricular activities like fest, dancing and sports.
