Q:   How is the overall infrastructure of BPIT Delhi?

    A:
    {Source: B.Tech students & alumni]

BPIT Delhi provides a good campus life for girl students, with flexible timing for extracurricular activities, no dress code restrictions, and moderate college events. The mess food is of acceptable quality, and there are hygienic cooking arrangements. Attendance policies and additional expenses like books are managed well. There is no language barrier in the campus, and the academic schedule is relatively hectic but manageable. The teaching methodology focuses on textbook-based lectures with case studies, and there are well-stocked research resources available. Security measures such as guards and CCTV cameras are present, and outsiders can enter the campus without permission. The college takes a strict stance against ragging and has a good balance of academics and extra-curricular activities.

Based on the reviews provided, the overall infrastructure of BPIT Delhi for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering seems to be good. All the reviewers have mentioned that the college provides various facilities such as digital classrooms, libraries, computer labs, Wi-Fi, hostels, mess and sports facilities like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, etc. The hostels are well maintained and offer good facilities to the students and the mess and canteen provide hygienic and tasty food. The college also has a library, playground and medical facilities available. However, some reviewers have suggested that the campus is small and could benefit from more modern equipment in the laboratories and expanded recreational spaces. Additionally, there is only one hostel for girls, which may not meet the demand for accommodation.

Summary: The infrastructure of BPIT Delhi for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering is generally good, with various facilities available for students. However, there is room for improvement in terms of modernizing the laboratory equipment and expanding recreational spaces, especially for girls.

    Placement facilities need improvement.
Placements: On campus placement needs improvement while off campus placements are great. Companies like Zomato visit the campus and a few skilled students get selected. The college has 4 societies namely Hash Define, Names Pace, IEEE and Anveshan.
Infrastructure: College is small and has no AC facility in classrooms. Wi-Fi is there in whole campus including hostel and library. Classroom size is pretty big. There is no boys hostel in college campus so boys have to seek for PG outside. Labs are fully furnished with all kinds of equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and interactive. Curriculum is easy and student friendly. Mostly Teachers are good and knowledgeable except some. Curriculum is fully relevant and good number of opportunities can be explored with college studies. Semester exams are not that tough. One needs to just prepare well for the exams.
Other: College has 2 eating outlets and 1 canteen.

Reason to take admission in this college.
Placements: Sixty percent of the students in my course were placed. The highest package offered was 50 lakhs per annum, the lowest was 3 lakhs, and the average package was 6 lakhs. The top recruiting companies were Amazon, Zomato, and Razorpay. The college didn't offer any internships, but you could get an off-campus internship like GSOC, which is offered by Google. One of my batchmates cracked it. The top roles offered in my course were data analysts.
Infrastructure: The department provides labs, classrooms, and a library. The labs have a large collection of books, and it's easy to check them out. The classrooms have projectors that are useful for presentations. The labs have the necessary equipment, and the lab assistants are helpful. The food in the canteen is reasonably priced, but the quality is neither good nor bad. The medical facilities are adequate. The college has a large ground with basketball and volleyball courts, and a cricket team that we can try out for.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and well qualified. They use PPTs to teach us and make our concepts clear in an easy way. The curriculum is relevant and teaches us everything we need to know, from scratch to mastery. This makes us industry-ready in every way. The semester exams are mid-sem 1, mid-sem 2, and end-sem. Mid-sem is 40 marks each for 2 units, and end-sem is 60 marks for 4 units. The passing percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I feel it teaches coding better than any other course. I aspire to become a software engineer, so this course is the best fit for me. However, I wish the course offered more workshops with software engineers and internships with good companies. The college offers a scholarship for EWS and CAPF students. The college also has a variety of social clubs that students can join, including acting, dancing, drama, and coding. The college also hosts an annual fest called Malhaar, which is held in December. Many famous personalities have performed at this fest.

Faculty is satisfying and helping, poor placement record, average infrastructure, fest is awesome .
Placements: Around 30–40% were placed in our college using in-college placements. The highest on-campus package was 10 LPA. The lowest was 2.5 LPA. Average packages are around 3–4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS and Dell. There are not many students who got internships through college. Most students got internships off-campus. The major roles offered were SDE and SDE-1.
Infrastructure: There are different labs for various subjects like physics, chemistry, etc. , a large playground, and Wi-Fi is not available. There is a big AC library with many books on different subjects. Classrooms are big but without AC. There is a girls hostel in college, a canteen, a mess, and a shop. Canteen food is not that good. Table tennis, cricket, football, and chess are available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, although some teachers do not teach properly. They share short notes, or PYQs, at exam time. The course curriculum is not that relevant. It will not make you industry-ready; you have to prepare for other courses for your career and growth. Semester exams are easy. Just study two days before exams and you will get good scores. 40% is the passing score.
Other: I chose this course to be able to connect with like-minded people and I have a great interest in coding too. The best things about my college are the various clubs, which provide an opportunity to explore different things and choose as per interest. I would like to remove all the unnecessary topics and add real industry-required skills to my course. A yearly cultural event, Malhaar, is organised every year in December and attended by a 15K crowd. Other than that, DJ nights are organised once a year. No scholarship is provided by the college. State and centre scholarships can be availed of by students.

Excellent placement of my college and good faculty.
Infrastructure: Classroom infrastructure is average, as there are no AC classrooms. All labs have AC. Wi-Fi is not provided in classrooms, and mobile data also stops working. The mess food quality is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Almost all sports are played at our college. There is only a girls' hostel; there is no boys' hostel.
Faculty: The faculty is knowledgeable and has excellent qualifications. Whenever a student has difficulty with a problem, they can openly have a conversation to clear their doubts. The level of semester exams is average, and the pass percentage is 40%. The course and the knowledge they provide help students become industry-ready, as various co-curricular activities are practiced.
Other: I chose this course because I have been passionate about technology and problem-solving since childhood. The best thing about my course is that it helps solve real-world problems with different techniques. Events and fests are organized, and various celebrities come to perform. The campus surroundings are excellent.

College provides strong placement opportunities and modern infrastructure.
Placements: Around 85-90% of students in the B.Tech program at BPIT secure placements, particularly in the Computer Science, IT, and ECE branches. The highest salary package is 30 LPA-40 LPA, while the average salary package offered was 5 LPA-8 LPA for CS/IT, and other branches average salary package offered was between 3.5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in tech include Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, and Capgemini. In consulting and finance, companies such as EY, Deloitte, and KPMG frequently recruit. For core engineering branches like ECE and Mechanical, common recruiters include Jindal Steel, Maruti Suzuki, and Tata Power.
Infrastructure: BPIT offers a solid infrastructure for B.Tech students, including campus-wide Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms with projectors, and a well-stocked library. The girls' hostel provides comfortable rooms with essential amenities like a 24/7 water supply and security. Mess food is decent, though additional variety would be welcome, and the canteen offers snacks and light meals. Medical facilities are available on campus for basic treatment, with a nearby hospital for specialized care.
Faculty: At BPIT, the faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Most professors hold advanced degrees in their respective fields and bring industry experience. Course curriculum is relevant and aligns with industry trends, particularly for branches like Computer Science and IT. Semester exams at BPIT can be challenging, featuring a mix of theoretical and practical assessments.
Other: I chose the B.Tech course at BPIT primarily because of my interest in technology and the strong focus on industry-relevant skills. However, there are areas where improvement is needed, and I wish there was more emphasis on hands-on experience and industry exposure. BPIT has a vibrant campus with regular events and fests, such as tech fests and cultural events like Malhaar, providing students with opportunities to showcase their talents. But it can have more scope for hands on learning.

    Placements need improvement.
Placements: The placement cell needs to be fully developed in the college. Yet, the college is able to provide the highest package of 14 LPA and the lowest package of 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Upgrade, Toppr, etc. Internships in the college are hard to get.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the college are just okay. The college has classrooms, computer labs, libraries, etc. Medical facility is not available in the college. The hostel of the college needs renovation. The food offered in mess and canteen is of good quality and tasty.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are experienced, but some of them are not, and they are rude towards us. But some of the teachers are humble and supportive also. The course curriculum is well-designed, but we need to study a lot apart from the course to get decent placements. In exams, we need 40% to pass.
