A good college with less fee for local students who don't want to go far from home.

Placements: Please do not expect anything from this institute. I have done diploma in the mechanical branch from this institute and got placed in Mahindra & Mahindra Swaraj Mohali, but I got this job through my own resources. Many of my batchmates are still unemployed and looking for jobs.

BIMT Shimla - Don't waste your money and time here

Placements: There is simply no placement in this college. Neither our senior batches got placed nor our junior batches. A job fair was organised in our college by a NGO but even those companies were fake ones. In the name of placement, some of the passed out students from this institute are given job offers for the post of teachers even if they haven't cleared their courses completely. The students with supplementary are given job offers for teaching. No job placement meet was ever conducted by the college ...

This is the worst engineering institute of Himachal Pradesh. They do have not arranged any campus interview yet. As far as the faculty members are concerned, some of the teaching faculty don't know how to teach. They don't want to provide the must knowledge to their students.

Average college with average placement and good facilities.

Placements: Placement drive takes place every year in which good companies visit the campus to hire students every year. 40 to 50% students get placed with an average package of 3 to 4 lacs. Other students go for their education or they prefer to go with government job.

I am satisfied because of faculty members, placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Above 65% of the students get placed in our course. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month, and the highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month. Best recruiting agencies from Chandigarh hire students from our college. Top roles offered are of chartered accountants and accountants. In our course, the lowest salary offered is Rs. 6,000 per month and the highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Around 70% of the students got internships from our college.

BIMT is not a good college.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good enough, and it should be improved. After the degree, you will get a placement with a low salary. You have to work 10-15 hours, and you only get about Rs. 5,000-10,000 per month. Only 10% of the students get placement.
