The candidate who are looking for MBA admissions at BIMTECH need to be graduate with 50% aggregate. Apart from the pre-defined eligibility, students appearing in final year graduation examination (1st attempt) in Summer 2024 is also eligible. The admissions are done in two categories:

  • Merit/General Category- 85% seats in all courses will be filled through general category. For distribution of seats, candidates need to visit the admission page of official website. Regular admission is done to those candidates who have fulfilled all the admission necessities and whose names appear in the merit list of successful applicants.
  • Other category- 10% seats will be filled through corporate sponsored /NRI/NRI sponsored/international student’s category.

It is a place for overall growth while studying.
Placements: It is a good college with an ample number of exposure opportunities. They focus more on experiential learning rather than just bookish knowledge. Retail management course helps in creating an edge over others as it provides us with life experiences with different companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostels are supported by LAN. The variety of food is awesome. There are facilities available such as gym, in-house barber, tuck shop, cafeteria, health centre, solar enabled geyser system in hostels, and centrally air-conditioned classrooms.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it is not monotonous. Live projects, group assignments, presentations, viva-voce, these all are part of BIMTECH assessment which helps a student to grow not just by studying but how to manage things on time and how to prioritise them.

Review of BIMTECH- Birla Institute of Management Technology.
Placements: Almost 94-100% of students in our course got placed. The highest salary package offered ranges between 9-10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Companies like Landmark Group, Infosys, Titan, Bata, etc., visit our campus for placements. About 60% of students get an internship. Manager role is offered to the students. Manager for retail management, either B2B or B2C jobs, are offered. For B2C store manager or a sales, manager post is offered.
Infrastructure: The college provides Wi-Fi facility for students. All classrooms are air-conditioned, and smart classrooms are also available. The library is well-equipped. All types of festivals are conducted here. The auditorium is not available. All programs are conducted in an activity plaza. The hostel is good. All facilities are available in the hostel like laundry. Only vegetarian food is served for the students.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well educated and qualified. They will be with us for any problems. They have great knowledge of the industry. The course curriculum is relevant in the current world. The retail industry is growing day by day. This course will help to gain more skills to sustain in the industry.

BIMTECH is a very good college.
Placements: Almost all students are placed in the institute. The highest package is 1200000 the lowest is 600000 average is 700000. Accenture, ABFRL and many other top companies. Students are mostly placed in retail positions of the company. Every student gets an internship from the college.
Infrastructure: Good facilities in the college like library, AC classrooms, and good variety of books in the library of the college. Food is very good but only vegetarian. There many sports facilities in the college and even in the hostel. The rooms in the hostel are good.
Faculty: Good faculty and visiting faculty. The teaching is very good and good curriculum that provides the students with excellent opportunities to the students. There are even exchange facilities on the campus that is provided to the students that provide them opportunities to learn in other countries.

Review of Birla Institute of Management Technology.
Placements: Placements for the students of our senior batch, i.e., 2017 to 2019, are mostly done by January 2019. It was indeed pride moment that average package turned out to be 6 LPA, and the highest package turned out to be 18.5 LPA approximately. From the current batch, most of the students got summer internships, and the students who opted for the exchange programme are left without internships. The college has a placement cell popularly known as Centre of Corporate Relations (CCR). The eligibility criteria include the CGPA obtained, score in aptitude tests, group discussion and personal interview.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college at par compared to all other institutions in this region. Hostel rooms have LAN connectivities. Quality of food provided in the cafeteria is very hygienic and so as in the mess. Medical facilities are at par. Doctors, counsellor and an ambulance are available.
Faculty: Regular panel discussions, HR summit and startup summit are being organised by the college where student representatives are sent to participate and explore on PR relations with industry officials. Teachers are well qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. Industrial visits are organised for the students to get industry exposure.
Other: Events are organised by clubs and conduits which look into various segments related to courses. Flagship event like Vihaan is organised by a cultural conduit. It's a 2-day fest with all events related to B.Plan inquisitive, treasure hunt etc. Food conduit organises Teej and Parantha festival, where parantha makers were invited by food conduit organisers, to celebrate this food fest during Navratri. Froosh is a club by Retailia (Niche with retail students). They organised Foodistan which bagged attention from all the PGDM programmes of institutes. In this event, each PGDM programme had their teams of seven members each consisting of seniors and juniors. They have to make their own snacks and give them a unique name while showcasing their cooking skills. Metro is located at Knowledge Park 2, Greater Noida. The college bus drops students at Botanical garden metro, during the trip one at 10:30 am. Boys hostel on the campus is for PGDM general management students of the second year. Other hostels are outside the college, known as RCI Vidya Vihar. The college buses are available to commute to the college.

Infrastructure wise good college.
Placements: Placement in our college was good for the seniors and BIMTECH has a CCR cell-Centre for corporate relations for the placement purposes. 60% students got placement and rest will get by month end and internship was good but many students have arranged that on their own.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at BIMTECH is good they have a healthcare centre where minor things or treatment can be done. The food facility provided by BIMTECH is good, they provide different varieties of the food and the cool thing is that the menu is decided by the students.
Faculty: Faculty in our college are well qualified and they use different methodologies for teaching so that every student will be able to understand the subject or the topic. And the curriculum decided by them is designed to take care of all industrial aspects.

Hi Sayan, The compensation for PGDM in Retail management from BIMTECH-Greater Noida is as follows: Highest Package: 7.5 LPA (domestic) and 20 LPA (international) Average Package: 7.32 LPA Lowest Package: 5 LPA However, this year the placement figures got a little affected due to demonetization.

BIMTECH-Noida is a better option among the two. BIMTECH is ranked above Christ. BIMTECH has higher average package in placements. Also, Delhi/NCR location is an advantage for students for exposure to corporate world.
