CMAT 2025 is scheduled to be held on January 25, 2025, almost four months ahead of previous years. The CMAT exam is usually held in March-April, but in 2023 and 2024, it was held in May. The last time CMAT was held in January was in the year 2019. 

The NTA has announced registration dates via an official circular, which has been released online at the NTA website on November 14, 2024. The CMAT 2025 exam schedule includes registration window open and close dates and form correction dates. CMAT 2025 registration has started, and the last date to apply is December 13, 2024, and the admit card is expected to be released on January 20, 2025. 

At GNIOT, students can study a two-year MBA (General) and MBA in Business Analytics and Health Care & Management specialisations. All these courses are affiliated with AKTU and taught by the Greater Noida Institute of Technology (Engineering Institute) and Greater Noida Institute of Technology (MBA Institute), respectively. The CAT exam is always conducted on the last Sunday of November every year so the CAT 2024 exam will be conducted on November 24, 2024. Official announcement of the CAT 2024 exam date will be made by the convening IIM on July 30, 2024. The announcement will be made at the iimcat.ac.in website as well as in all the national dailies across India. We at Shiksha have also notify the aspirants through our communication channels. Registrations cum application process for CAT 2024 will begin from the first week of August and end in the third week of September 2024.

The selection process at GNIOT Greater Noida through UPSEE counselling so GNIOT students can take addmission through management quota also, but for General category should have 60%+ aggregate in Class 12 and SC/ST with 40% aggregate.

And for lateral entry Diploma in engineering or B.Sc. with Maths have aggregate 45% -40% aggregate in SC/ST. These seats are there students who have passed qualifying examination from UP.

The placement rate of Galgotias University is approximately 82.89%. However, GNIOT also has a good placement record with several students getting offers from reputed companies like Axis Bank, TATA, Geetanjali, Property Pistol, Kent, Berger Paints etc. The highest package offered in GNIOT during  2023 internship was INR 9 LPA. Therefore, although Galgotias University is considered better than GNIOT in terms of placements, both institutions have a decent placement track record and offer career opportunities to their students.

The following are the requirements for admission to GNIOT's MBA program:
Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST). 
They must receive a valid score on one of the following entrance exams to be eligible: GIMS Aptitude Test (GAT), CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, XAT, or GMAT.
While not required, MAT scores are accepted for admission to GNIOT's MBA program.

 

GNIOT Group of Institutions offers two-year MBA courses in the stream of Management. The institute offers MBA (General) courses and MBA in the other two specialisations. All of these courses are offered in affiliation with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. The selection criteria for these courses are effected as per AKTU norms. GNIOT offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) through various National-level and state-level exams. Candidates aspiring for GNIOT must have a valid score in either of CAT or UPCAT rank to fulfil the eligibility for further admission rounds. As per GNIOT cutoff 2022 for MBA, the minimum cutoff in required for CAT is 25 Percentile. Also, taking into consideration UPCAT cutof 2020, candidates must have an overall rank of 4038 for MBA for General All India category students.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 219472 and closing rank was 290807. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in GNIOT is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) can vary depending on the country, university, and program. However, the basic eligibility criteria for B.Tech are as follows: The candidate should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board or university. The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 curriculum. The candidate should have obtained a minimum percentage of marks (usually 50% to 60%, depending on the university and program) in the 10+2 examination. The candidate may need to qualify in an entrance examination, depending on the university or program's requirements. Note that the eligibility criteria may vary for different B.Tech specializations offered by universities or colleges. It is advisable to check the specific university or college's official website or contact the admission authorities for detailed information on eligibility criteria and admission process.

CAT cut offs are not announced along with the CAT result. The cut offs also not released publicaly. They are known after a few days of result announcement when the IIMs and other colleges start their shortlisting process. The IIMs will open shortlist window basis the CAT cut offs two to three days after the result announcement. The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for Written Ability Test (What), Group Discussion GD and Personal Interview, PI can be considered the cut off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with CAT percentile of 99 belonging from General category is selected for the What/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who will make it to the What/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut offs.
