Not much better for civil branch campus placement.

Placements: I am from civil engineering branch and in my batch, approximately 70 percent of students have been placed every year. The top recruiting companies are JSW, Vedanta, Aditya Birla, Unacademy, etc. The highest package in this year is 13 LPA, with an average package of 6.5 LPA.

It is a good institute, but the infrastructure is not good.

Placements: It has decent placements for metallurgy. Placements are good, but you won't get a very high package. The highest salary package goes up from 10 LPA to 12 LPA, but you will get a job for sure if you have worked enough for it. Placements in non-core branches have also started to improve.

It is the only government engineering college in Jharkhand, but the college is not worth it.

Placements: In 2020, almost 110 students were graduated in civil engineering, but only 13% of the students get placed with a salary package of below 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. L&T is the mass recruiter of our course. Tata Motors also visit our college to hire students. Every year students get internships.

Not the best out there but definitely gives you your money's worth.

Placements: Hardly 4 students got placed in the core sector at Viraj Profiles Ltd. Most of the students switched careers and ventured into the Business development sector or for the roles of analyst. Many students opted going for higher education. The highest package offered was 10 LPA by BYJU'S for the role of Business Development Associate.

Absolutely dissatisfied by the faculty. The placements should improve.

Placements: 30% of students get placed in my course. The highest package is 10 lacs and the average is 4 to 5 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Tata Steel TCS, Ericsson, Samsung. 20% of students get internship from Tata Steel. The rate of placement is not very great it needs to be improved.

If you JUST want value for money, this is the college.

Placements: Placements had sink down if we consider the passed decade, though last couple of years have been encouraging. Till now for chemical engineering branch placements were very low with average of 3.25lac p. a. and the highest being around 7 lacs. Though this year it has boost up to 9lacs a year. Recently, even Tata Steel hired around 6 candidates at 8 lacs a year. Also with the opening of FCI factory in Sindri, speculation predict a good amount of students to be placed there, which is good thing con...

Placements: The placement is good for computer science, IT and electronics branches as software companies often visit, but in other branches, it is not at all good and not even 50 percent students get placed. The highest package offered is 8 lakhs and lowest is 2.5 lakhs. The companies which usually visit are TCS, JSW Steel, Uttam Galva Steel and Mu Sigma. The TPO (Technical Placement Officer) is selected from final-year students who are responsible for placements, contacting the companies and influencing t...

If you want to prepare for GATE, PSU'S or ES then it is the best platform you can get but if you want to live a standard college life then this place is not made for you. College lacks in basic facilities like Wi-Fi and proper hostel maintenance. But in the final year, you get single room for each student so you get enough time and space for your preparation.

The worst college - not for bright students and open minded students.

Placements: 50% students were placed. Placement package is average i.e. 4.5 lacs. Vedanta, coaching companies, acc, local fertilizer companies recruited the students. Maximum students do internships on their own. Applying outside. Nothing great from college for internship. Top posts are not given, generally package starts from 3-4 lacs.

It is the best to prepare for competitive exams, but it is not good for campus placements.

Placements: Around 50% of the students got placed. The highest package offered is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.33 LPA. This is the overall placement record. This is not a good college for placements as good and large MNCs don't visit our campus. The biggest companies like Google, Ab Barclays, WhatsApp, Alphabet, Samsung, Reliance and various PSUs visit the college.
