Best Engineering College in the Environment of Santiniketan.
Placements: I am student of B.Tech in Electrical Engineering. There are almost all students are placed in some companies like infosys, LnT, IBM, TCS etc. Top company is like Tata, they provide almost 3 LPA. Other companies are provide like 1.8 LPA. The roles offering by them as Graduate Engineer Trainee for 1yr, after training they posted them in Supervisor role.
Infrastructure: Our college premises are very green. The area is very big and open environment. There are many facilites are available like library with lots of books, good and reasonable canteen. Our teachers are very helpful and supportive for every reason. Classrooms are very clean and well maintained. Wi-Fi also available. Also there are well equipped labrotories for every stream.
Faculty: Our teachers are very friendly and helpful. Always they are help us in study as well as our mentle growth. They arrange many programs like quiz competition, games, festivals, blood donations. They help us in practical classes very efficiently. The semester exams are conduct by MAKAUT.
Other: I want to be a Electrical Engineer, so that I choose that course. In that course, there are several things about electricity which are very interesting to me. Also in that stream, there are many job opportunities. Need more industrial visit to improve this course.

Partially dissatisfied because of placement and behaviours of faculty and management.
Placements: 15-20% only got placed from my college. My college had placement cell. Our placement cell management was very week and uninterested for students. Year by year placement percentage getting down. The highest salary was 4.8 lac and the lowest was 1.20 lac. During placement, Tcs, hdfc, infosys and other local company visited.
Infrastructure: My college infrastructure is good compare to other colleges. They are providing free Wi-Fi, medical facility, sports and games etc. Hostel rooms are okay but not soo good. Starting of college session canteen food quality was good but not best. But day by day food quality getting down.
Faculty: My all teachers was good. Some teacher were average. Many of our teachers was knowledgeable and practically good. We had only one class room for sixty students and 1 teacher for each classes. During practicals, batch size was thirty and two teacher for each class. We get three industry visit.
Other: Each year fest was organized by our management and friends. I got four times scholarship from Bihar government. NENand other programme was also heldin college campus.

Good infrastructure, facilities and the faculty. But dissatisfied because of the bad placement.
Placements: To tell the hard truth about the placement opportunities are disappointing. My batch of electrical engineering of 2012-2016 got only two companies for the interview, and one was Amazon among them. The most important thing is that the interview was held at another college like pool campus drive. No one was selected from the interview. The placement record was bad for my batch, but the college only provides a bit of placement for IT & CSE students. But that is not huge. A few from the batch get the chance to bag a job from the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome than other private colleges. I can rate it 4 out of 5 for the infrastructure. Well maintained campus with the facilities like book bank, library, cafeteria, a central hall for seminars, discussion with faculty from the reputed institutions from the different part of West Bengal. The fresher's party is given from the pocket of seniors. If they are ready to give you the party, well you get another party for it. Otherwise you'll not get it. Luckily we got this from our seniors. The beautiful garden is provided, and a cemented pond is inside the college. Separate hostels are provided for the boys and girls. Good to stay 1 year in the hostel. Then you can leave after permission. The class rooms are well maintained including labs.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and cooperative with the students. Few IIT teachers are on the campus. HOD'S are good in college. I have done my B.Tech in electrical engineering that was four years of course. Time to time semester exams are conducted. If you make a good rapport with the faculty members that will be helpful for your practical exam marks.
Other: My experience was good with the faculty members. They were good and cooperative. The image is a great thing for everyone to keep it up. The qualified director is available in the college. Few reputed teachers are there from IIT. Every year there are few seminars conducted. Overall everything is good except the placement. For that, you have to work hard and need to focus on your study and make contact with outside colleges for the placement or pool campus drive.

Other: The campus and infrastructure are not good for this college. I would not recommend this college to anyone as they do not provide any positive vibes to students. The faculty is average to cope up with but it is very difficult to deal with the technical and non-technical staff.
