One of the best universities in India that provide all-round development.

Placements: Most students of the batch were placed. A few opted out for higher studies. The highest package offered was around 65 LPA by Epic systems, US. The average salary was around 7 LPA. The lowest salary offered was 3.5 LPA. Top companies visiting the campus were eBay, Amazon, Shell etc. Roles ranging from software developer to financial analyst were offered. There is a placement cell working 24x7 to place students.

BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus overview.

Placements: The placements here are very nice. To people who don't like their branch, there are finance and general placements on management skills. To people who love their branch, there are correct recruiters like Nvidia, Microsoft, Sony Ericsson, etc. We have state of the art placements and training sessions on campus.

There are excellent faculty and peer learning environment.

Placements: Core branches can expect few major companies like Tata Motors, Skoda, Honda, L&T the etc. offering 6 LPA to 8 LPA (least to maximum respectively). Non-core students are sitting in IT placements. Many my seniors got placed in various IT based companies for more than 20 LPA packages. Regarding higher studies, about 60% to 70% students from mechanical department choose to do higher studies in their field of interest, in and out of India. Regarding internships, second-year summer intern (PS-1) is pr...

BITS- a college you can dream to be in

Placements: The placements are comparable to, if not better than, what is offered in other premier institutes in the country. The offered packages vary for roles, fields, and the workplace. However, around all the branches, you can expect a minimum of 6 LPA, a median of around 15 LPA, and a maximum of around 50-60 LPA.

Excellent infrastructure, placements, one of the dream colleges of the students

Placements: Placement of my seniors' batch was awesome. They got a maximum package of 14 lakh per annum, the minimum package of 3 lakh per annum, and the average package of 7 lakh per annum. 60% of the students got placed. Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Sandisk, Oracle, Nvidia are the dream companies that visited our campus. The students were offered the role of an engineer. BITS has a unique policy to give each and every student internship 2 times, so each and every student of BITS gets an internship. Stipen...

Overall good infrastructure, faculty and placements. The faculty are co-operative.

Placements: The core placements in manufacturing engineering are really poor. Also, the overall placement in mechanical and manufacturing is not good. This year, just two students from the manufacturing got placed in the core company which offered an annual package of Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. Most of the students in the manufacturing get a minor degree in finance, and many of them got good jobs in the companies like Morgan Stanley. This year, two guys from the mechanical got ranks under 250 in GATE exam. One ...

Really good infrastructure and faculty. The placement depends on the individual.

Placements: The placements are great in the college for IT department. The recruiters check your grip on languages. The median package offered is around 14-15 LPA. The placements are average for ET/MF department. You have to score a decent CGPA and have a couple of projects to get placed in the tier 1 companies. The placements for other departments like finance and analytics are improving. The civil and chemical have not such impressive placements, but if you're good, then you will get placed. The students ...

BITS, Hyderabad is life. It's the most satisfying part of any BITSian's career whatever facet it is.

Placements: The placement team has done a pretty amazing job as of now. They have been successful in placing almost 70% of students and they have a lot of time before the season closes and thus expect to get a 100%. The highest salary offered was close to 45 lakhs and the least salary is close to 5 lakhs. The average of the whole is around 8 LPA until now. The roles were from all kinds of backgrounds, be it core (mechanical, civil, electrical), IT, analytics or pharma, chemical, etc. Since it is a compulsio...

Review of BITS Hyderabad from 2016 batch electrical student

Placements: The average is around 6 lacs and the highest package was around 25 lacs. Almost more than 90 percent students were placed. But the thing to be concentrated is very few (less than 4) core companies came for placements and hardly 10-15 students got placed, inclusive of PPOs.

One of the so called Ivy league colleges in India.

Placements: Placements are relatively very good for a campus that is just 10 years old. Being a Computer Science student, the average package for this subject was 16 lac per annum for CS. All the students who sat for placements (some students go for higher studies) got decent jobs. Considering the fact that they take around 15 lac fees for the complete 4 year course, the placements offered are decent but not at par with some of the leading IITs such as Bombay, Delhi and Kanpur. Good faculty, excellent infrastructure, average placements but overall good exposure.

Placements: Currently, the placement scenario is not up to the mark due to low salary packages in core sector, although the placement depends on the number of students interested in that particular sector. Last time few students had applied for a job in core sector and most of the others either went into IT or analytics due to fat salaries. But the companies which came for core recruitment were good. But people are blinded by the fat salaries since core sector jobs are evergreen and with experience, the inc...

Amazing college life, with good placements and top-notch infrastructure.

Placements: Most of the EEE guys end in IT companies. Very few people who opt for EEE end up in core companies like NVIDIA, Qualcomm, ARM, etc. Rest of the students go for MS in foreign universities. Among the people who took EEE, very few even consider sitting for placements, so I'd say around 50%. The average salary offered is around 10-12 LPA. Most of the roles offered to freshers are in verification engineering.

Absolutely satisfied. Best part is - overall development.

Placements: Placements are good. The packages vary from 6 LPA to 36 LPA, depending on the profile, work etc. 6-month internships are a part of the curriculum in the final year, where many pre-placement offers are extended. This gives a greater chance to understand the company and get placed in the field of your choice. It also helps to gain industrial experience.

Achieve, innovate and lead is the motto of our college.

Placements: The placements processes will be undergoing throughout the entire year. But there is a division in which one batch of students go out for internships while the rest of them will sit for the placement process in the entire semester and in the next semester vice versa takes place. A considerable amount of people won't sit for placements as they have some higher studies aspirations and appear for exams like CAT, GRE, GMAT etc. So after taking them out of the picture, 85-90 % of students will get pl...

Placements: The placements weren't bad but not great either. It's always difficult to get many core companies in India. Almost 85% of students were placed. Companies like Nvidia, Cisco, Deshaw showed up. The average package was around 4.5 LPA. We have a system of PS2 in which all students get internships.

Placements: Campus placements are pretty good and the placement division which handles all the placement related things includes students also for the smooth process and the better coordination. 65-75% students get placed. The highest package is around 25 LPA, lowest is around 5.5 LPA and the average salary is around 8 LPA. Comapnies like Flipkart, Amazon, Qualcomm, and many finance and analytics companies also visited for recruitment. The roles which companies offered are coding profile, core, analyst, con...

Placements: BITS has 100% placement opportunity through its practice school program in addition to the campus placements. Most of the campus jobs are for software or analyst profile, there are also core jobs. All students have a compulsory 1-year internship. The highest pay was > 20 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA and the average is 6 LPA.

Placements: Very good placements for computer science. The average package in our year was 7 lpa and the highest was 27 lpa. Core companies are fewer but there are high chances for PPO after the internship in the last semester. Companies like LnT also visit for civil and mechanical branches. Very good scope for analytics also.

Choose any if you're not specific about particular branch, and this place will develop you.

Placements: It was good, but as usual, a core branch student should not expect 15 LPA it's like 7-10 LPA and remember that core job requires experience more than knowledge. Hence, initial packages are less, but we get to learn a lot on this campus, whereas if you go for minor in finances, then you can get any crazy packages.

Students from mechanical engineering have a lot of projects and internships options.
