One of the best engineering colleges in India.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent. All of them are professors who have decades of experience and are really warm and welcoming toward new students. The exams are pretty difficult because BITS works on a relative grading score, i.e., your marks are compared with others', and then you are given a ranking rather than having a fixed-point system where if you get a certain number of marks, you will be given a certain grade. The pass percentage is very high, around 80-90%.

BITS Pilani - It's Magic.

Faculty: Faculty members here at the Goa campus are extremely qualified. Classes are full of demonstrations. There is no compulsion to attend classes, but it is recommended to attend them, especially if you are a dualite. CGPA matters in almost every aspect, whether it’s getting a dual, practice school, scholarship, etc. When it comes to the curriculum, first-year courses may not be that relevant, but in the end, they will surely help you in one way or another.

There was a moderately good placement season in 2023.

Faculty: The professors are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is really good. The coursework is relevant to market standards, making the students industry-ready. However, the exams are very difficult, with a pass percentage of only 20 percent of the total course.

Best academics as well as fest culture with good placements.

Faculty: Highly qualified teachers are there. Relatively tougher academics but the teachers do make efforts in the lectures to show all the demonstrations. Maybe the first-year courses offered are not so relevant but the further courses offered are relevant. Also having a good academic culture.

An Overview: Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, KK Birla Goa campus

Faculty: The teachers were helpful and they are well qualified and knowledgeable; their teaching quality was pretty good. The first-year curriculum is a bit boring and seems irrelevant because they make you study most of the subjects starting from CS to Biology. I would prefer it being more specific for each course starting from the first year. Semester exams are pretty difficult.

Amazing infrastructure, but placements are not that good because of the recession.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and have very in-depth knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. It is very relevant. Semester exams are difficult, and the competition is also very high. For the first year, everyone gets to study the same subjects, but from the next year on, subjects change.

I am very satisfied with this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified from top institutions. The teaching quality is better. The courses have applications like laboratories. Grading is not up to the mark, but exams are tough. The pass percentage is 99%. Consultation hours are also conducted by faculty members.

I don't like the physics and math department teachers.

Faculty: Our teachers are very approachable, especially in the biology department. If you go to them with your problems, even if they are not subject-related, they will help you. The curriculum is very good. It appears that continuous evaluation is done so that you will not feel too much pressure at the end.

BITS Goa: A review about placements, college life and infrastructure in general.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and qualified for their job and taught really well. Moreover, we have zero attendance policy. Courses are relevant and practical. Semester exams are challenging enough and we have relative grading so everyone tried their best.

BITS Goa campus, summary.

Faculty: At times, there are too many evaluations. Some courses need restructuring. Some courses are very interesting and taught by very passionate faculty members. Typically a course has a mid semester exam, final sem exam, 2 quizzes, 1-2 assignments, sometimes surprise quiz or attendance .

Review of BITS Pilani - Goa Campus.

Faculty: Professors are highly qualified. They conduct quizzes, assignments, and seminars throughout the semester so that students remain consistent in their studies. There is a regular evaluative pattern. The relative grading system is followed in all three BITS campuses. Teachers conduct classes regularly, and an individual can easily score good marks. If a student has scored less than 10% of the total course weightage, then he is awarded an NC grade and has to repeat that course. The course curriculum...
