According to an unofficial source, BMS College of Engineering is conducting its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2023. As per the latest report, a total of 1300 students participated and got more than 1000 offers from top-reputed companies during BMS College of Engineering placement 2023. A total of 111 M.Tech and MBA students were placed during the BMS College of Engineering placements. Earlier, a total of 161 and 94 students were placed during BMS College of Engineering M.Tech and MBA placements in 2021 and 2020, respectively. Students can study a two-year MBA course at BMS College of Engineering through its Department of Management Studies and Research Centre. The college accepts admission to MBA through various entrance exams. However, BMS College of Engineering MBA admission is not offered in a particular specialisation. It is offered as a General programme. There are four entrance exams that are widely accepted for this course, these are MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/ Karnataka PGCET. Interested students need to qualify for either of the mentioned exams with a valid score for the IIT Bombay MBA course admission.

The first semester of the BMS College of Engineering MBA curriculum includes theoretical subjects, and practical subjects in the course. The college offers a general MBA programme. Additionally, for MBA admission BMSCE accepts valid scores in MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT/Karnataka PGCET. The fee for an MBA course at BMS College of Engineering is INR 9 lakh. 

Presidency College and BMS College of Engineering both are renowned universities for MBA/PGDM. However, in terms of affordability, Presidency College is a better option since the total tuition fee for Presidency College is INR 6 lakh and the total tuition fee for MBA/PGDM at BMS College of Engineering is INR 9 lakh. BMS College of Engineering course admissions are only made through the entrance examination scores and rank obtained by candidates. BMSCE accepts the rank and scores of various entrance examinations depending upon the programme opted by the  candidates. KCET and COMEDK scores are required for BMS College BE admission while GATE and Karnataka PGCET scores are required for MTech admission. BMS College of Engineering fees is different for various programmes offered by the institute at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. BMS College offers a BE programme in Computer Science and Engineering specialisation at the undergraduate level. The total tuition fees charged by BMS College of Engineering for the full time BE CSE programme is INR 1.63 lakh.

At the undergraduate level, the college offers three to four-year BE courses. The four-year BE is provided in 18 specialisations such as Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and others.
