My wonderful four-year journey at BMS.

Placements: The placements were better than most of the colleges in the area. Companies like TCS, Texas Instruments, JP Morgan Chase, Nokia, Practo, Phillips, Seagate, etc. Came during my final year and recruited a hefty number of students. Students were allowed to have more two offers and not more than that. But given the number and quality of companies, students were happy with the placement process and output. Many students had two offers. The placements happened on a rolling basis throughout the year an...

The placements are above average. Awesome crowd, good faculty, but small campus.

Placements: Placements in mechanical engineering were around 82%. It is low because many of the students go for higher studies. Very few students were placed in core companies. The highest package offered for mechanical students was 14 LPA, whereas the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Many core companies like Mercedes Benz offered internships to the students. Overall, the placements for the mechanical branch is above average as compared to other colleges.

Satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements are good. 20 to 30 students got placed from mechanical engineering in core companies and rest in IT sector. Placements for other branches is good too. Many top recruiters come to college, and last time the highest package was about 28 lakhs per annum. Internship opportunities are good too.

BMS college of engineering - one of the best in Bengaluru.

Placements: There is a placement cell at central level as well as student driven committees at department level. All the major recruiters are present at the campus. Most of my batch mates went for higher studies (appprox. 20-30% of the batch). Rest who sat for placements got placed. The average package was around 4 lacs per annum.

Good infrastructure, hostel, faculty. Mechanical placements are not good.

Placements: The placement of mechanical engineering department is not that good compared to CS. Usually most t of them gets placed in mass recruiters like tcs, accenture. The number of core companies for mechanical engineering is very few like caterpillat, BEL, ABB, ITC etc. The average package for mechanical engineering is around 3-3.5lpa. Only companies like caterpillar, ABB, ITC, BEL offers above 5LPA. Most of the companies offer around 3-5LPA. Total number of companies visiting campus to hire mechanical...

A really good college overall.

Placements: Placements provided by our college are very good. Many companies visit the campus to provide placements as well as internships and the packages offered are also high. as well as internships. Companies like Accenture come for mass recruitment and hire many students every year. The highest package of 28 lacs per annum was offered by Direct. Many tier 1 and tier 2 companies come and provide many opportunities to students. There were 100% placements in computer science and information science branch...

The college is one of the top private colleges in the country, and fun to be a part of it.

Placements: I am yet to complete my first year here, but as far as previous batches placements are concerned, it's average. The packages lie equal to the best colleges in Karnataka. The average package is five lakhs per annum. The college has more than 90% placement record. So, if you take admission in this college, you don't need to worry about placements.

Absolutely satisfied of the faculty in my college. Placements were good in 2017.

Placements: The placements are good, and almost 78% are placed in this year. In the previous year, almost 85% people are placed. Internships offers are very good. The highest package offered is 22 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. The companies visited are Intel, MIcrochip, Honeywell, Direct, Siemens, ENdurance, Bosch, TCS, Accenture, etc. The roles offered were a software developer, testing, application design. The college has good infrastructure.

Placements: We will get a lot of placement opportunities, but the thing is most of them will be on pool campus, and it is difficult to get placed. That too for marketing specialisation there's a lot of companies who will be coming for placements. There are less for finance and even less for HR students.

It is the best ever college in the means of everything.

Placements: The placements are good, but the opportunities for IEM branch is low. Most of the companies don't take the sub-branches for their placements. We feel like the opportunities are less and the placement training given is also not that worthy. The core company which comes for placement ask for high CGPA which is a drawback.

Placements: Placements of the college are good. In software companies, almost 85% to 90% are placed. The highest salary offered was 20 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA to 6 LPA. L&T, Accenture, Shobha, Google, Flipkart, Phonepe etc. visit for placements. Placement training is provided with good teachings and infrastructure.

You will cherish 4 years of BMSCE for the rest of your life.

Placements: The placements are not outstanding but at least top notch I must say. It all boils down to the calibre of the student. The college will try and do everything to bring the best companies in for placement. They even provide placement training. Most of the reputed companies visit the college. Amazon, Comvault, Avaya to name are a few with other business related companies like Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, etc. also visit. Needless to say, there will be mass recruiters as well. I would say if you are ...

It is a good college to get your degree, and have fun, but the sports are limited.

Placements: Placements are very good, and it depends on your department. Computer science is the most fortunate as this is the age of automation. Departments like biotechnology, medical and electronics don't get placed in their core companies. Mechanical placement ratio is bad.

If you are looking for a college with good culture and quality, then BMS is the one.

Placements: Computer Science and allied branches in this college will definitely get good placement opportunities. The core branches like mechanical, civil will get fewer companies as expected. Overall the placement percentage is around 85%. All the eligible candidates will definitely get placed in one or the other company for sure.

The college has pretty good placements in 2016,2017 (CSE, ISE, ECE).

Placements: If you are keen to get placed in software sector turn this college. It would surely live up to your expectations. For branches like CSE, ISE the placements are close to 98%, and the maximum package goes up to 30lakhs per annum. Apart from strong placements even companies like Microsoft, Oracle visit the college for giving internship. If you are good in software sector to believe me this college will live up to your expectations. For branches like ME, I won't suggest you because the placements ar...

The college ranked 14th in India, according to a recent survey by Times. This might be enough.

Placements: As I am in the civil branch, there are not so many placement opportunities for us. 20% of us get into core companies, and 30-40% into software companies and the rest of them go for higher studies. While other branches, especially CS and EC get a very good placement. Mechanical branch too has got a good percent of placements, but only 40% students get into the core companies, which is good.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students who attended the interviews got placed. The companies visited most of them were service-based companies, and very few got placed in core companies. The highest package offered was 13 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3.3 LPA. There are very few internship opportunities.

This is a brand name to market oneself with.

Placements: 80% placements are available for all the departments. Had both core technical and non-technical companies visiting the campus. We have a well-supported placement department. The placements run even after your batch has passed out. They are very helpful. The students are placed in one of the mass recruiters and a networking company. You have a choice to keep two offers and join either one of them. Had to pay fees for every company to be attended.

BMS College of Engineering - review.

Placements: The placements were decent for my batch. Being from the electronics and communication background, we did not have a lot of companies from our field. There is a lot of scope for improvement. The hostel rooms are fine, but I feel that the fee for staying in the hostel is quite high and also the food available in the hostel mess is not that great. It's much more affordable to stay in PGs near the college.

The college is amazing with an amazing brand name but still a long way to go.

Placements: The placements are good as far as computer science and electronics and communication are concerned. Almost, everyone from my batch got placed. The highest package offered, if I remember correctly was 19 LPA. But then only 5 to 6 students got such offers. The placements are bad as far as the department such as biotech is concerned. They usually end up in the companies like TCS.
