College has some good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is not good in this college. In my batch, no student from the electronics and communication engineering branch is placed. A few computer science students got placed. The average salary package offered is 6-8 LPA. Infosys, TCS, L&T, and some other companies visit to recruit students.
Infrastructure: Most of the buildings in the premises are old. A few of them are recently constructed, like the multipurpose hall and library. The environment of the library is good, but there is an issue with the timing, as it is generally open only until 4:30 pm. There is no proper canteen on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and qualified, but they are not that supportive or helpful. Semester exams are not difficult because most of the time the question paper is from previous years. Semester is completed within four months, so they complete the syllabus in a hurry.

Best study atmosphere, canteen, ground, and faculty.
Placements: 60% of students are placed. The highest package is 1200000. The lowest package is 300000. The top recruiters are TCS, Ambuja cement, etc. 50% of the students received internships at Intel, Microsoft, and Google. Top roles are offered in course communication and hardware. My batch is 2020, and excellent performance by students in TCS.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for everyone and everywhere. All-time library for students, lab are open for students, clean classrooms and clean campus are there. The hostel is excellent and has the best quality. Medical facilities are available at all times. Sports and games for students are available .
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Yes, it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult in college. 90% of students pass their semester exam.

According to my rank, I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: From a batch of 67, almost 40 students got placed. The average package is 5.5 LPA, the median is 5 LPA, and the highest placement offered this year was 15 LPA. Recruiters are Godrej, Cadence, HLS Asian, L&T, Accenture, etc. Roles such as Analog Design Engineering, Executive Engineering, etc. are offered. Mostly people get internships at a good stipend.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are little bit old, but smart classrooms are available. Wi-Fi in hostels is very good. The library is mostly open except on Sundays and important holidays. 1 main canteen is a college canteen and apart from that, 2 to 3 more canteens are available. Medical facilities are good and the dispensary is mostly open. Sport culture is very good. Labs are a little bit less functional .
Faculty: Teachers are really knowledgeable and IIT qualified. If you go to class, then the teacher tries to give its best to teach you. They take class seriously. The quality is also good; there may be some topics that you don't understand, but you will understand most of the things. Semester exams are not much tough and are easy to score. Some subjects get tough but that's the nature of those subjects. 85 percent of the students get passed.
Other: Tech Fest is organized at a big level in that region. There are lots of councils and clubs that regularly conduct events whole year for students. The campus is very large in size but mostly covered in forest and nature. Scholarships are given by the government. Crowd is little bit less as it has less seat intake. Connectivity is good to the main city, Jhansi and other cities and markets of the city.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel infrastructure.
Placements: In the electronics and communication branches, there are actually few to no placements in the core company. The only core company that visits the college is Larsen & Turbo (L&T), which offers a placement of INR 6 LPA. Some other EdTech companies, like Byju's, also visit with an average package offer of INR 3.6 LPA. In only the IT and CS branches, placement is good. Last year, two seniors got an off-campus placement at Google for INR 64 LPA. This year, one senior got a pre-placement offer of INR 28 LPA. So placements in the software field depend on skills, not college.
Infrastructure: There are eleven hostels at my college. 9 are for boys only, and the rest are for girls. They claim to provide Wi-Fi 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 3000 rupees, but there are still very few routers available. Also, there is a water shortage in the Bundelkhand region, so water is only available for a few hours. And there is no RO for drinking water. Students in their second year have to go to other hostels to drink water. Once there was some malfunction in the water motors and Nobody will believe there was no water in 2nd year for a week, and the hostel warden was just delaying everything and saying mechanicals would come tomorrow and the motors would be repaired after a week. Only God knows how students live in these government colleges. Classrooms are average. The library is only open from 9am to 4pm, and almost all books are very old. But the library is okay. But Labs are really poor. All instruments are malfunctioning, which no one actually cares about. And during exams, sometimes electricity gets cut for 2–3 hours at night.
Faculty: Professors are knowledgeable, and teaching quality is also good. But they are not helping by nature. If somebody has some work from teachers, they just keep ignoring it and ask us to go to a different department, and the cycle goes on and on. If somebody messages a teacher on WhatsApp for some query, the teacher never responds, and this is what I hate most about them. The curriculum is old, and exam marking is very strict. One cannot get marks easily. Almost all students pass the exam.
Other: There are some good things in college, too. And those are councils and clubs. There is one council named the Council for Student Activities. And then there are four sub-councils: the Cultural Sub Council (CSC), Sports Sub Council (SSC), Literary Sub Council (LSC), and Fine Arts and Hobbies Sub Council. We have Abhinandan events in CSC and Prabhanjan or Pace events conducted annually in Sports Sub Council. In these councils, there is a senior-junior culture as well. And very few seniors are good with words; the rest are not. Things become okay in the second year, though. There are also two clubs: the Innovation and Incubation Cell (IIC) and The Done Learners Club (TDL). These are the best things in college. IIC conducts INNOVANZA, our college's techfest, annually, and there are some of the best days of the college.

BIET Jhansi is a top AKTU government college.
Placements: There were 60-70% of students placed last year. The highest package was given by Cadence at 13 LPA, and the average package is 5-6 lakh per year. Top recruiting companies include Cadence, HLS Asia, TCS, Wipro, L&T, and some sales companies. There are fewer companies providing internships to third-year and final-year students, and many students applied for internships off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There is Wi-Fi available for 24 hours, and bank, post office, and canteen facilities are also available. There are labs, but some equipment is not working properly. Hostel fees are less compared to other colleges. However, the quality of mess food is not very good. For sports, there are indoor and outdoor facilities available. Many game councils and groups are available, including cricket, football, carrom, chess, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and basketball.
Faculty: Some teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects. AKTU has implemented project marks for each subject, so there is a need to do a small project for each subject. As a B.Tech student, you can also gain knowledge about entrepreneurship and startups because there is a minor course available. This is an autonomous college, so exams are conducted by the college itself. The difficulty level is easy to moderate.
Other: Scholarships are provided by the UP government in case of eligibility. If you are eligible for the scholarship, your annual income should be less than 2 lakh for the general and OBC categories and 2.5 lakh for the SC/ST category, and you must live in UP. Most students receive the scholarship.
