Courses	Eligibility
B.Com	Candidate passed 12th/HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto with at least one commerce subject are eligible for admissions to the B.Com degree course. Candidates who have not studied commerce subject for Higher Secondary or an equivalent examination with the mentioned marks are also eligible. SC/ST candidates need get only a pass.
B.A.	Candidates who have passed the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission. Total Plus Two marks + a weightage of 50 marks for those who have studied Economics as optional subjects in HSE or equivalent.
B.Sc.	Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.

Satisfied because of the study methods

Placements: In CKGM Govt College, Perambra, which is a small college with around six streams in various subjects, I joined the B.Sc. Mathematics program after completing higher secondary education. With 45-50 seats allocated for this course, the college does not charge tuition fees except for the exam fee, which is often covered by scholarships. There is generally no recruitment process or internship program, but the study methods and teachers are excellent, leading to significant progress in academics.

Infrastructure: The college's facilities and infrastructure are commendable. For B.Sc. Mathematics students, there is a lab available in the third and fourth semesters for the complementary subject, Computer Application. The lab, which is neat and well-maintained, accommodates all students who usually work in pairs. Hostel facilities, started before my last semester, are budget-friendly and include food. The Perambra Taluk hospital nearby ensures medical facilities are readily available. The college also offers NCC and NSS programs and has a large playground with an athletic coach. Sports, especially kabaddi and football, are given high importance.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and considerate, with many holding PhDs. The daily schedule includes six one-hour periods according to the timetable. The supportive behavior of teachers helps students focus on their studies. While the mathematics curriculum is considered challenging, especially in the last two semesters, it is ideal for those passionate about the subject. Exams are moderate, with a pass percentage around 90-95%, though achieving high scores can be tough.

Other: Events, fests, and batch-wise programs are regularly conducted.
