    Is B.E./B.Tech at Camellia Institute of Technology a good choice?

    After analyzing reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * Low fees compared to other institutions
    * Good infrastructure (classrooms, labs, libraries) and facilities (sports, canteen)
    * Helpful and knowledgeable faculty members
    * Relevant curriculum aligned with the industry requirements
    * Decent placement record, especially for Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering students

    Cons:
    * Limited placement opportunities, mainly for BPO/call center firms
    * No hostel facilities available
    * Poor teaching quality in some faculty members (CSE)
    * Limited internship opportunities
    * Infrastructure and maintenance could be improved
    * No medical facilities available

    Overall, while Camellia Institute of Technology has its strengths, it falls short in terms of providing internship opportunities, placement records, and maintaining a positive student experience. However, for students looking for affordable options with decent infrastructure and facilities, it might still be a viable choice.

    Here are some key highlights:

    * Fees: Very low, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious students
    * Infrastructure: Good, with modern classrooms, labs, and libraries
    * Faculty: Knowledgeable and helpful, although some may require improvement
    * Curriculum: Relevant and aligned with industry requirements
    * Placement: Decent, especially for certain branches, but limited overall
    * Internship: Limited opportunities available

    By considering these factors, prospective students can weigh the benefits against the drawbacks and make an informed decision about whether Camellia Institute of Technology is the right fit for them.

    Good infrastructure from outside but not inside. A low-fee college that you can afford.
    Placements: There are very few companies that have come for placement in the past. In the current scenario, you will rarely get placement offers from on-campus companies as no company is visiting this campus in the Computer Science branch. In other departments, such as ME and CE, you can get placement in small companies, as these companies come for placements.
    Infrastructure: The college campus is in a very big place. There are lots of buildings in college and the environment is surrounded by greenery as this is in some type of rural urban area. But the indoor infrastructure is not as good, except for the old design, and there is no AC in classrooms.
    Faculty: There are lots of facilities here, and you will learn so much if you attend the classes regularly in the CSE department. The curriculum is followed by MAKAUT because it is affiliated with MAKAUT. Exams are also conducted according to MAKAUT's schedule in a very strict way.
    Other: If you can't afford high fees, then go with this, as this college charges very low fees.

    Helpful Faculty but Limited Placements and Connectivity.
    Placements: I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Camellia Institute of Technology, but placements were disappointing. No one from my batch got placed through the college placement cell. The salary offered was very low, only around 12k-15k per month, and there were no big companies coming for recruitment. Internship opportunities were zero; none of us got any. The top role was only CAD Designer, which wasn't enough to match our skills and learning. I hope in the future the college will try to bring better companies and better pay so that students get a good start in their careers.
    Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but it's secured, maybe only for the faculty, not for students. Yes, there is a lab, and it has proper instruments, so we could do practicals properly. Classrooms and the library are okay, enough for studying and other things. [Regarding the] Hostel and Other Facilities: food quality in the canteen is okay, not very special. Regular gaming and some other functions are there for us, so it's good for enjoyment. Medical facilities are good, available when needed.
    Faculty: Our teachers are good and always helpful. They all have M.Tech degrees, and some even studied at government institutes, which is good for us. They support us well during internal exams and give us regular notes on Google Classroom, which helps a lot for semester exams. The pass percentage is high, above 95%, so exams are manageable with their guidance.
    Other: I chose Civil Engineering because I already have a Diploma in this field, and it gives me a good opportunity to build on what I know. The course is good, but it could be improved with more field-oriented learning, not just theory. Our college organizes one main fest every year, as well as events like blood donation drives and tree plantations. We students also arrange events like Teacher's Day, so there are good extracurricular activities. The campus is usually not crowded and has a nice environment, but connectivity isn't great; it's about 5 km from Madhyamgram Chowmatha. I received a 2k scholarship per semester for paying my fees on time.

    Improving placements from last 2 years.
    Placements: There are 50-70% of students placed From last 2 year the placement increased in CSE branch and others of branches placements improved now. The highest package of a student is 12 LPA in other state from batch of 2022. There are fewer companies tech mahindra and locals name companies. Few students does internship.
    Infrastructure: Institutes infrastructure is quite large but the interiors of campus is average and workshops is also average though workshop got effected at time of COVID-19 for not using that. Labs are also good but Wi-Fi is not currently in working condition. Library building is here there is seperate building for library that's huge quantity of books and information. There were quite things in canteen before but now there is only main meals for those who stays in hostel. There is no medical facilities. There is a huge ground for sports and games.
    Faculty: Faculty of this college is quite good and helpful for every student. They are enough and enough knowledgeable to teach everyone. This course is of software engineer so we have to only focus on software development through computers so whoever learns some good development they are industry ready.
    Other: I choose software engineering because I'm quite interested to work on apps and games. The weird subjects that are in our course that does'nt make any sense for software development. Fest is organised every year and events are as usual in a or two months. There is no campus crowd.

    I would recommend this college to students.
    Placements: The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Wipro, TCS, and Infosys. The top roles offered were associated consultant, ethical hacker, and power programmer.
    Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were good in our college. Surroundings were well-maintained. Wi-Fi facilities were also enabled. Mess and canteen were accessed round the clock. Medical facilities were handy, and sports were encouraged.
    Faculty: Our faculty members were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable to provide enough concepts. Their teaching quality was good to gain knowledge. Semester exams were decently arranged. Our teachers guide students in a proper manner. Passing percentage was easy to get, because teachers were talented. The pass percentage was 70%.
    Other: I opted for this electrical course as nowadays core companies were hiring enough students and giving them opportunities to grow themselves. Core companies visit our college every year to hire students.

    Really good infrastructure and facilities.
    Placements: Our college has on-campus placement in which average students get placed, our college has an average placement rate, the average package is around 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Cognizant and TCS etc. Come to our college for placements.
    Infrastructure: Our college has a good campus, there are lush green trees all around and a very good environment. The classrooms are also well furnished and there are different types of rooms with different arrangements including lab room, digital classroom, AC classroom etc.
    Faculty: Difficult level of semester exam in our college is quite tougher. Semester exams are conducted in our college with utmost strictness. The main university inspects the exams through cameras. Phones, digital watches and any other cheats are not allowed in the exam hall.
    Other: This course make my future secure. After doing this course, I will get a chance to work in a good IT company and will get all the facilities as well. Anyway, nowadays software companies are very popular, that is why I chose this course.
