Placements: My name is Subhom Roy from Kolkata. I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering in 2017. I am pursuing B.Tech mechanical engineering. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.8 LPA. Manufacturing work and moulding were the roles offered to students in Steel Plants.
Placements: The college provides zero placements. Nobody got placed in the on-campus placements. The college invited some KPOs and BPOs and didn't try to invite any product based company. Some companies were fake, and some were under civil court and consumer court. TPO was the worst, and there were no personality development classes conducted. The management was always busy in making money, and they took Rs. 5,000 extra for placement but it was of no use.
Placements: More than 80% of students got placed, but not through the college placements. They got placed through pool campus placements which were held in different colleges and students were invited for the interview rounds. The college managed to bring BPOs from the local area, and no student was interested to even attend the interview. There was no scene of internships as it was not compulsory in the 3rd year.
Placements: The placement scenario of any college in West Bengal is bad, except IIT KGP, JU, IIEST, NIT DGP. Although the placements in CS are very less and in core branches, there are negative placements. Earlier in 2014, in the pass out batch, out of 80 students from mechanical, 2 students got placed.
Placements: Our batch didn't get any placement opportunity in any core company through college. 2-3 students got a job in Amazon with 3 LPA package. Rest of all didn't get the job. This is the story of major private engineering colleges. All are waiting to get a chance in any company through GATE, IES or any other competitive exams.
Placements: Only 1% pupil got placement from the mechanical department by pool campus organised by our college. While a total number of the students from all departments got placed was little better. Only 3 core field company came (pool campus), and 12 IT company came (pool campus) visited our college. The highest salary offered was 3.6 LPA, the lowest salary offered was 1 LPA, and the average salary offered was 1.8 LPA.
Placements: Only 3 pupils from our department have been placed out of 53, and that was through pool campusing. No internship facilities are available. Even in the case of summer or winter training session, you have to manage them by your own.
Placements: In my college, there were very less placements for core branch students. Only one person in my batch got a good job in Triveni Turbines. Some students (3 or 4) got a job in the sales department while the rest were still jobless including me. Some were looking for private jobs while some were preparing for government jobs. But nowadays, everyone knows about the bad condition of core sector jobs.
Placements: The college did not provide any placement. Only fake BPO companies came. Many friends of mine got placed in those BPOs but didn't join those fake companies. It is a totally worthless college. They promise a lot of things but will not provide you a single campus placement.
You can join if you just want the degree. Placement is very poor. The Placement Cell is there but is very inactive, may be because of management's weakness. The Faculty is average. The Infrastructure if fine. The Labs have enough equipment. There is only one playground. The Hostel facility is available.
I studied the electrical engineering course in this college. The practical lab was not equipped with instruments. However, the faculty members are very helpful and supportive. But the placement in our year was not at all good. The campus is pretty big but the infrastructure is not up to the mark. The location o this college is desolated.
It is the worst college and has poor management. The college doesn’t have a proper infrastructure. Even the facilities provided are poor and the placements have a huge room for improvement. The fees is quite high and the facilities provided are nil. You will regret taking admission here.
It is an average type of college. There are few good professor available. The location of the college is very good just near the G.T road, the management team is the worst one. The hostel facility is also very bad. They took money in terms of library fees but doesn't provide books.
It gives good education but does not give good placements. Infrastructure is not very good. The faculty is very good. But some faculty members are biased. And does not provide other facilities for students. Its labs are not well-equipped, the components are faulty. The library is good and is situated in a very big place and the buildings are very big. The canteen in my college is also not very good. The campus is very big.
Being a member of the college from past 4 years, I can only say please avoid this college by any means. They don't provide placements. But, they do provide false, fake placements. They don’t pay their faculty members. Just ask anybody working there. Worst college. I have completed my B.Tech this year but not a single student in my knowledge got ‘placed. Really, very bad college. Faculty members are good. But location is very odd. And one most important thing is that management of the college alw...
I hoped a lot from the college but it’s completely a useless place. It hasn’t got any labs in it nor faculty members. No Infrastructure. Even the A/cs in the computer labs don't work. It's incredible t0 have 4years in here. I hope not to get entertained by their advertisement and other attracting stuffs... the facilities provided by them are null.
