Helpful Faculty but Limited Placements and Connectivity.

Placements: I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering from Camellia Institute of Technology, but placements were disappointing. No one from my batch got placed through the college placement cell. The salary offered was very low, only around 12k-15k per month, and there were no big companies coming for recruitment. Internship opportunities were zero; none of us got any. The top role was only CAD Designer, which wasn't enough to match our skills and learning. I hope in the future the college will try to brin...

Review of Camellia Institute of Technology.

Placements: I don't know the exact percentage of students who got placed but it will be very low. Many students got placed but they got placed through the off-campus drive. On-campus drives are not relevant here. Many small companies came & offered around Rs 1.8LPA to Rs 2.5LPA. Also, we didn't get any sort of internships at all.

Good Engineering college for average type of students.

Placements: The college provided better placement to our previous batch rather than our batch. Near about 60% students were placed from our department. The students who were placed, got the job of technical associate or assigned as junior engineer. But from my point of view college management and placement cell should do work altogether for providing better placement in future.

The college is not up to the mark.

Placements: The college does not provide proper placements. None of the batches gets proper placement guidance from the college. Even internships are not provided, and the students have to arrange for internships by themselves. There is not even a proper placement department in the college.

Overall, our college was good for education but not for placements.

Placements: In the year 2014, a BPO company visited (I don't remember the name) and recruited the students. But, the number is very low with respect to our batch strength. Then after, no single company came to offer jobs. That is the fault of our TPO. We were sent to some pool campusing in other colleges, but there, we faced tough competition.

Review of Camellia Institute Of Technology.

Placements: Placements for our batch and senior batches were good as around 60-65% of the students got placed. The highest salary package of 5.5LPA and the lowest salary package of 2.5 LPA are offered in our college. Tech Mahindra, L&T, TCS, Bhusan Steel, etc., visit our college for placements. The role offered to the students as a trainee.

Totally dissatisfied of our college infrastructure and placements in 2018.

Placements: It has medium placements. We are really happy for our college that they are trying to do something for us. But sometimes the companies which has come, become fake. Last year our college has 70% of placements but this year it didn't cross 20%. It's just going down.

It's average college, student can take admission if the student has nack of self study.

Placements: It has most of the target to place in mnc's through pull campusing, in our batch some good students got placed in Amazon India, Tech mahindra with good gross annual package. Some companies like apsara infotech, Wipro came and had some placements across the students who could participate in the drive. Our senior batch had a placement of similar kind except few core students placed.

Very good faculty, fair placements, but not good enough infrastructure.

Placements: The placement was fair, but not up to the mark yet. Some companies came like Maven, Go Speedy Go, Kovair Software, etc. But, there wasn't any mass recruitment like TCS, IBM, Tech Mahindra does every year, so very few students got placed. I hope more companies will come this year.

Pursuing higher education(MBA) after completing B.Tech with guidance from the faculty at CIT.

Placements: There are the placements in the companies with the low package that is around 10K to 15 K per month in Kolkata and 20K to 25K per month in Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, etc. Wipro, BPS, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, Genpact, and small IT companies visit for campusing. The rating of campusing for 2015 batch was poor. The average package was around 12K to 13K per month. The frequent strikes were common due to lack of the job opportunities from the campus placements. Due to lack of good job roles, many...

Average college with average facilities.

Placements: The placements at our time were not that great. Very few companies visited out college and the ones which came were offering mostly KPO roles. A fecent training and placement assistance was provided. Different learning sessions were carried out and they used to carry out the sessions very frequently in the fourth year.

If you are good in studies then I suggest you not to take admission here.

Placements: Very few placements were there in around 5-6 companies which are not MNCs. No student took placement from pool campus as they were not good companies at all and did not offer good salaries. There was no on campusing. No company comes to our college neither the director spends money to call the companies. They only send selected students for pool campusing. Mostly BPOs visit our college.

They are going to fool anyone. Nothing is good in this college. Lack of equipment, experiment labs, etc. Lack of good teachers. It has a small library with non-availability of good books. And they are very good at the time of admission, after that they didn't even recognize you.

Placements go haywire. Infrastructure is not that great. Location is very far off from the main city. Fees is reasonable as compared to other engineering colleges across the country. So if you want to do away with your engineering in a reasonable price, go for it. Placements are negligible, though.

This is an engineering college of Camellia group. Others college of this group are Bengal Institute of management, Camellia school of engineering and technology, Camellia institute of engineering and management, Camellia institute of business management etc. The communication of this college is not good and also the situation of the surroundings are not good too. We are very second batch of that institution so we had faced very much mess in infrastructure.
