Faculty is the best part of this college. Not that great infrastructures and facilities.

Placements: Placements were not very good in my year when compared to a previous year or any other year before. It may be due to the dying economic development of West Bengal as a whole, but it is what it is. The main recruiters of the college are TCS(Tata Consultancy Services) and Infosys. Only about 30% of the students got placed through campus placement opportunities. The role given to a fresher by these IT companies are mostly that of a system engineer. The salary offered by TCS was 3.36 LPA and that by...

Good infrastructure, average faculty and degrading placements.

Placements: The placement is average in our college, but frankly speaking, it is falling year by year. TCS is the largest recruiter and several companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys etc also visit our college. The number of students being recruited by TCS has reduced dramatically in the year 2017, being 25% of the total students. Earlier, it used to be at least 60% of the total students. ECE has the best placements number followed by CS and IT. This college must improve regarding core companies for electric...

CEMK - The finest college in the district.

Placements: A good number of students till now have been placed either on campus or off campus. Companies like TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra etc visit the college for the recruitment. The college offers different kinds of opportunities for the students like visiting India's leading governmental organisations like BARC, ISRO etc. It also provides facility to do vocational training at governmental organisations like IOCL and WBPDCL.

Good infrastructure, facilities and average placement.

Placements: Over the few years, the placements have not been so good. What I thought when I took admission at the college is that its average should be around 45% students getting a job. Only a few core companies came to our college like TCS and Infosys which belong to the IT sector. The other companies are Johnson Controls, Tech Mahindra and Lintech Electric.

A to Z information about the College of Engineering and Management,Kolaghat.

Placements: Overall, the placement is average. Six trades(CSE, ECE, IT, ME, EE, EIE) are there and the best-placed trade is CSE and then ECE. In 2016, from these two trades, about 80% students were placed. Not so good placement for IT and EIE. In 2016, average placed students' percentage was near about 60%. Mainly IT companies visit. The main companies are TCS, Infosys and Tech Mahindra.

Excellent place to enjoy, the college owns a lake, you can get an excellent view during evening.

Placements: It has good placement for the CSE/IT/ECE streams, almost all students got a placement in TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra. This year there is a bit less placement as what it was during the seniors' time. It goes up and down. The companies keep visiting till the last semester, and it depends on the students how they have prepared. If I talk about the internship, it is not good but for the CSE/IT/ECE streams, it is far better than the core branches as college itself provides an opportunity to get an in...

The college is good in a good academic and student friendly environment. One thing that I loved most is the good teacher-student relationship. CEM Kolaghat is situated in the heart of Kolaghat thermal power plant township. There are other facilities like ATM, 24x7 power supply, less hostel charge. After all, it is worth the money you spend.

The faculty here is very good. The lecture halls and practical labs are also very nice. Infrastructure of college is satisfactory. The placement is average. The hostels are very poor. Infrastructure and food needs to be improved. The exposure is very low. Hence colleges in city are preferred more. But except the hostels, food and exposure, other things are good and one can join this college.

One of the best college in Kolkata. This is the college where rank holder can admit through counselling. Most of the student in this college are Bengali. The teacher of this college are also good. In infrastructure there is a little compromising for student but managed. TCS and INFOSYS such a company are come into this college and mostly student get placed during its season. At last only thing I want to share that I Love My College. Thank you

The college’s academic background is definitely very nice but it lacks in terms of administration. The Director of the college is not friendly, but the teachers are good and are very inspiring. This college gets funds from World Bank, last year the college received a fund of 10 crores rupees to develop the labs and infrastructure.

It is one of the good colleges in which focus is on studies not on other things. If someone wants to study and enjoy college life one must come to this college. It’s having a campus of 27 acres. One must not join whose prime aim is getting High package from campus recruitment. Major recruiters here are TCS and Infosys and no MNC's visit for Mass recruitment. Average Package offered is 3.28 Lacks per annum. Placements are good but not very good. But the fees structure is very less compared to oth...

College infrastructure is mediocre. But still it is acceptable if learning outcome is good and this is something you get from this college. You will get a beautiful library there where you can sit and read as long as you want. Other things are quite similar like other colleges. Placement are now a days not up to the mark. If you work hard than you will get a job from this college.

When I was reading, that time faculty was good and infrastructure was not there. But time rolls on, now a days, faculty is not good but infrastructure is there. For placement point of view it is average. But if one works hard then can get surely good assistance's form the teachers and proper environment for study. Best part is the hostel life you will get in this college.

It's a nice college for studying. It has a beautiful environment surrounding the college. College is beside the National Highway. So the communication is good. No transport problem is there. Hostels are in the college campus so no disturbance as well. The college campus is huge. A large playground is available where all types of games can be played. Every year cultural fest named SPANDAN and technological fest named RESONANCE is organized.

CEMK is great private college in West Bengal, with a fully residential campus and truly helpful faculties. Best part of the college is its campus, far away from the madding crowd of Kolkata, a peaceful atmosphere for study. Wonderful hostels, awesome library and campus full of greenery. Hostel canteen is also very good. Many visiting lecturer come from nearby IIT KGP, making it a delight for the students. In house lecturer are also very helpful. I will cherish my CEMK days for ever.

A college with good faculty members and decent placements.

Placements: The college is off track when it comes to placements. The placement cell works tirelessly to bring in reputed companies like Tata, Infosys, Jindal, and Wipro for campus recruitment drives. Students are provided with ample opportunities to interact with industry professionals through seminars, workshops, and internships, so the maximum number of students are placed in reputed companies.
