I am satisfied as it is affordable and provides better placements than AEC.

Placements: Most of the faculty members are from IIT Guwahati, so it is good to study from them. The students are getting placed as the HOD of our department has good contacts with the companies like BYJU's and other firms. The infrastructure is similar to IIT Guwahati, and all the equipment is new as it is newly opened. If you have good relationship with teachers, they can help you get internships at IITs and abroad.

The campus is quite good with good labs and very good faculty members.

Placements: Placements level of our college is very poor. Top recruiting companies for our course are PepsiCo, Nestle and Kingfisher. Almost 100% of the students got an internship from our course in different companies like Amul, Nestle, Master India Brewing, Horlicks, etc.

You can opt for this college if you want to learn new things and study.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. In the current year, a few companies like Amazon, Intel, etc., visited the campus for recruitment. The placement depends on the marks that you got in the course i,e., SGPA. But they should improve in providing placements.

Decent college, below average on-campus placements, great infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: As of 2019, The placement scene of the college isn't very satisfying. Few companies arrive here for placements. Most students get placed, through pool campus and off campus drive. It would be fair to say that almost 60-70% of the students in the course get job offers with packages ranging from rs. 1,50,000 to 4,20,000 per annum. Most students get internships here. The top performers generally make their way into IIT Guwahati while the rest get internships in metropolitan cities. It is important ...

CIT-KOKRAJHAR The most underrated institute of North-East.

Placements: The placements for our department is very bad. Placements are almost nill but in some due course they invite some local food manufacturing firms which provide a very bad environment and salary. As per the reputation of the institute the placements are not that good. Most students choose find job by themselves than what is provided by the placement cell.

My college life is most memorable for me.

Placements: Placement opportunities provided in CIT are increasing, and students also score good marks in the exams. The placement department of CIT provides more than 50% of placements for students. Apart from private companies, PSUs also visit the campus top recruit the students.

A review of Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar.

Placements: Placements in our college are moderate. I am still pursuing my course, so I don't know much about the packages offered. According to my seniors, packages offered are not great, and most of the students prefer higher studies rather than doing a job at such low packages. The college has a training and placement cell.

I am proud of being a part of this college.

Placements: Placements in our institute are excellent. However, there are no campus placements. But our training and placement cells sends us to respective places where we can get hired in very good companies. Our branch has the highest placements, and many of our seniors are doing good jobs.

Absolutely satisfied with the studies and knowledge. We expect more from the placement cell.

Placements: Placements in the college have not been too good till now. However, many dedicated students have got job opportunities in some of the companies. Many of the students are now studying M.Tech in IITs and other good institutions after completing their B.Tech here. Students also prepare for GATE exam, and some of them were able to show good performance in the past years.

I wish everyone to join this college.

Placements: Placements in our college are quite good. Our training and placement cell is very good and supportive to students. There are no on-campus placements, but the placement cell sent us to some places where recruitments are going on and we can surely get a good job. But in future, there are lots of scopes for getting placements in our college.

Mainly the food problem in the hostel must be taken care of. The placements and others are okay.

Placements: CIT, Kokrajhar is a premier institute in Assam. Though it is under MHRD, Government of India, its performance in terms of college placements is not that good when compared to other institutes like NIT and IIT which are governed by the same department. One of the few reasons being recently formed institute, i.e., established on 19th December 2006, and most of the recruiters visit engineering colleges because of its alumni. Another reason is that it's located in a remote place of Kokrajhar, which ...

We are proud to be the students of CIT.

Placements: Overall, the placements of the college are average. But students of instrumentation engineering were offered good placement opportunities. Many of our seniors are currently working in companies like Amazon and refineries. We also have a good training and placement cell, and very much experienced professionals are a part of it.

We can proudly say that our college is one of the best colleges in the state. Good value for money.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many students from the previous batches are doing good jobs in many good companies like Amazon and refineries, etc. The placement cell is also very good. They not only give ideas about jobs but also provide training and internships.

It is a good college. All the students learn and get skills in many aspects.

Placements: After completing B.Tech, most of the students are looking for higher studies than getting a job. There are no on-campus placements, but our training and placement cell arrange the placements for all the students. In FET branch, many of our seniors got good jobs. In future, there will be lots of good opportunities to claim. So, it is worth the money.

The placements and the infrastructure of our college are excellent.

Placements: The placements of our college are not good, and the college lacks in training and placement department. If I have to compare the college with other colleges in Assam, the standards of placements reach 60% of the placements of other colleges. Being a pioneer institution, placements are not much worse. The college management put all their efforts for the betterment of students.

The placements is bad. But the infrastructure us very good. The teachers are highly qualified.

Placements: The placement is bad in college. But you can get job on your own talent and teachers helps us by all. To get a job you must go through the GATE exam. Those who cleared GATE they are doing either job or higher study like M.Tech. I can say that our placement is bad due to the low quality of avg students.

I am satisfied here. There are some problems, but overall, it is a good experience.

Placements: There are good numbers of placements for some departments. But in recent years, few placements job offers are available. Many seniors got placements offers. Salaries offered varies from Rs. 15,000 to 50,000 per month. There is a placement cell, and it handles all the placements and job-related matters in a proper manner. It's very useful as we know about the requirements for the job offers and how to prepare for it accordingly.

Satisfied with my branch of the food technology.

Placements: The placements of the college are average, and around 40-50% get placed in my branch of B.Tech. The average package turns out to be around Rs. 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Also, students are given roles in the marketing and R&D companies. Students also get internship opportunities from the college.

Central Institute of Technology, Kokrajhar, Assam.

Placements: The placements are very minimal as most of the recruiters prefer IITs, but still, our college students have managed to get some. Every year, almost 10 students get placements. That's just a minimal figure considering the rest of the institutions. But most of the graduate students prefer to study even after their graduation, that is the key factor for low placements.

Placements: Students who were able to secure more than 60% will be able to qualify for the seat in the campus interview. Various companies all over India came to the institute to give a job those who were qualified. The student from CSE got the job in Wipro, TCS and Infosys last two years.
