On JEE Main Cutoffs

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

Overall, the college is good or average.
Placements: Almost 50 students in our class are placed. The highest package might be 9 lakh, and the lowest package might be 4 or 5 lakh. Companies like Amul, Britannia, and many more come for the recruitment. Almost everyone gets recruited by the companies. Almost 80% get internships from our college. Roles like professor are offered.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are good, helpful, caring, and kind. They are really knowledgeable, and their teaching is also good except for some faculty. The infrastructure of the college is on the verge of getting better slowly. The girls hostel is clean; the bathrooms and washrooms are almost good except for some. The food provided in the mess is eatable, but they don't provide varieties, but they almost follow hygiene; still, kids like eating outside. The sports facility is not very available; the sports club needs development, and more games should be arranged.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is almost good. Yes, the food engineering technology course is relevant as it provides placement. It does make them ready through the internship given to them for the industry. The questions in the exam are given from the syllabus and what is taught in the class itself. The passing percentage of the students might be 80%.
Other: I choose this course for its placement. It provides information and knowledge regarding the food in various aspects. The things I would like to say for the improvement are doing more practical things for better understanding and providing us with videos for better understanding. The scholarship is given timely.

Overall, everything is good here.
Placements: The branch that I have chosen, I am really happy with that we are having good placements. We almost have 50 students in our class. The highest package must be 9 lacs, and the lowest package that has been provided must be 5 or 4 lacs. Companies we can see, like Amul, Britannia, and many more. Almost all the students get internships in good companies for their experiences. Roles like professor, assistant professor, officer, etc., are offered.
Infrastructure: It's good and is on the verge of development. The campus is beautiful. There is no ragging. Faculty are friendly and good. Overall, we can say that it's good. We can experience many things. Clubs are there for learning. Here the hostel is clean and comfortable. The food provided in the mess is also good. It's hygienic. Everyone stays peaceful. There are people who help in dealing with the mental health issue. Even we have self-defense classes for females, which is really beneficial. The fest in our college is one of the best ones.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, friendly, and they are very helpful. They care for the students and encourage them to learn more. They help them in their time of need. They are really highly qualified and well educated. Their teaching techniques are really unique and fun. Yes, this course's curriculum is relevant and makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exam is good, and whatever is taught comes from that itself. The pass percentage of students is almost 80%.
Other: This course will help us know how to use foods in beneficial ways for betterment.

Faculty and hostel are good.
Placements: Placement is not good; internships are only conducted by Nielit. Not good so not all will get placed. The only student who is placed is on their own, not in college. The faculty is good. The environment is good for studying. All the facilities were good until it came to mess food.
Infrastructure: The library is a digital library and it is good for studying. All the books in the library are for students. The labs are good. Classrooms are good and larger. Sports areas are good, like football, tennis and volleyball. Everything is good but not the canteen, like the weekend is off.
Faculty: semester exam is good all the subject questions are as asked per class. All the questions comes from the class topic, which is studying in class. If anyone studies class notes, then he/she is able to do so. Wi-Fi is not available in classes. Only Wi-Fi is available in hostel.
Other: Event is good .

The placement in 2015 is average.
Placements: In the general ECE department, 25% of students secured placement. The highest package is 4 lpa, the average is 3 lpa and the lowest is 2 lpa. And the top recruiters are Intel, Qualcomm, and Nokia. Around 40–50% of students secure internships, depending on the institution and location. And top roles offered are Software Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Data Analyst, Telecommunications, etc.
Infrastructure: Equipped with modern teaching aids, projectors, and a blackboard. Wi-Fi is available but not every time. The library is available and also a good library. The quality of facilities at hostel is bad and also food is bad. The canteen food is also bad. There are no sports and games.
Faculty: There are no helping teachers. They are qualified but not knowledgeable. The teaching quality is not good. The curriculum is relevant in core subjects. The maximum number of students passed the examination. The percentage of passing students is 70%. There is difficulty in semester exams.
Other: I think there is a good course but this time there is a very bad course. There is no best thing in this course. There are many things to improve in this course. No good events or fests and the campus crowd is average.

It is an average college located in the village area, which feels so natural.
Placements: 45% of students got placed from overall branches. Average package is 3-4 lakhs per annum.Internships are also given here which are so helpful. The strength of our branch is high as compared to other branches. You all can get admission by two methods.
Infrastructure: We have lots of classrooms and labs too ....Even some of the labs are newly formed….Internet connection is available in every CSE lab....Hostels are so good and well designed, but maintenance is not done properly ....Mess food is not so good, but mess is hygienic….You will have only veg items there
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful...They help us in different ways ....Exams are not that much thought about ...If we study, then we can pass our exams easily...It is not so hard...We have a total of 25 faculty staff for our branch, including professors, doctors , and lab assistants
Other: We get our personal lan ID's for accessing the internet....Campus is so good and eco-friendly...It feels so natural ....We have two fests for freshers....One is technical and the other one is cultural named as Techracy and Ecstasy respectively

Don't Join CIT. Everything is corrupted here. Faculty is not good.
Placements: Over placements are not good, if you are from CSE department or FET department, then you might have a little chance of getting off-campus or in-campus placements. Training and placements cell is not good. TNP cell members lack in guidance and they are not supportive. You should join a private college instead of CIT.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. Everything is corrupted here. There is no 24/7 electricity facility. College disconnects electricity after 11PM just to save petrol. In exam time also there is no 24x7 electricity facility. Hostels are very poor. Mess food is of very poor quality. If someone complains, the college takes disciplinary action against him/her. So I would suggest everyone to not join CIT. Some basic facilities are not available here.
Faculty: Some professors are good while the other professors are very rude and not supportive. 70% professors are not good, they are not highly qualified. You can't expect a good lecture from them. Exams are very easy here, you can pass easily. You just have to maintain your attendance.
