Placements: All our seniors got jobs except those who opted for higher studies. The percentage of placement of our branch is 100% including internships. The package offered isn't that high, Rs. 18,000 per month is offered. Various roles were offered in almost all food-related industries in Assam. About 40-45% of the students got internships.
Placements: Since the college started offering B.Tech only before 7-8 years, the placement rate is not very high. As far I know, the highest package in this college is from the IT Department which is 9 lakhs per annum. Among the other departments, the highest package till date from the college is 25 lakhs per annum in the CSE branch. This college holds the record of highest selections in GATE.
Placements: Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar has its own training and placement cell, with two training and placement cells officially working every time for the betterment of the students. The placement cell always works for the betterment of the students. It conducts seminars weekly for the students regarding new institutions or companies.
Placements: No good opportunities are there for campus placement. Only 5 students got placed in campus placements. Many students got placement in off-campus. It seems the college is not willing to bring companies. If you are looking for a college in placement point of view, then this college is not a good choice.
It’s a wonderful deemed central university offering B.Tech in 6 disciplines and Diploma in 7 disciplines. A beautiful lush green campus with state of the art infrastructure makes it one of the top colleges in north east. With IIT Guwahati as the mentor institute, this young institute has thrived its way to success and glory with many alumnis working in reputed public and private sector companies as well as pursuing post graduation from reputed institutions all across the country.
Placements: Very few companies visit campus, and the placements are pathetic. Also, there is no support from the college placement cell on campus. This year till now, only 3–4 companies visited, out of which the majority were call centers (BPO) and offered very low packages.
Placements: I don't think any organizations visit our school. The staff do send understudies to specific organizations they have associations with. I have no clue about the arrangement rate. I have heard numbers being discarded from others, yet I don't know. I intend to concentrate further subsequent to getting my certificate.
Placements: The placement scenario in our college is not good. It is below average. Only a few companies recruit from our college, and most of them are food companies recruiting students from food processing technology branch. Other branches like CSE and ECE have very few placements, and most of the students prefer higher studies. For Diploma students, the placement is nill because most of the students prefer higher studies. From our batch, no one got placed in any company, some are doing higher studies, an...
Placements: Placements are good for food engineering and civil engineering students. It is growing day by day. In the last two years, many companies provided work to students. Many students are getting jobs on-campus only. But it needs to improve more in the case of placements. It will become more good in the coming days.
Placements: From the placement point of view, the college is not much good. There are no placements. You have to do everything on your own. The placement cell doesn't provide placements. The college is in a remote location, so I think the placements are. I think if the college would be deemed university, then it will be good in future.
