There is no industrial orientation in our college, that's the main reason we don't have core placements.

The admissions are taken through and Telangana EAMCET exam, also other category.
Placements: The college provides internship opportunities for students in their third and fourth years. Students can also apply for internships in private companies. The highest salary package was recorded in 2023 at 59 lakhs per annum, which was secured by a student in the computer science and engineering department. The college has a good placement record for students in CSE and related branches, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and information technology.
Infrastructure: The buildings and blocks in this college were constructed a long time ago, so some of them are in a state of disrepair. The college was established in 1979, and there is only one boys' hostel, with 10 students per room. The rooms are comfortable and provided free of charge. The hostel fees are around Rs. 94,000 per year. There are separate hostels for seniors and juniors to avoid ragging. The food is good compared to what is provided in private hostels, and it is provided by the college's food junction.
Faculty: The academic year is divided into two semesters, and exams are held every six months. Semester and exam fees are usually around Rs. 5,000 to 6,000, but from the second to eighth semesters, the fees are reduced to Rs. 2,500 to 3,000. In each semester, there are two midterm exams, lab internal exams, and lab external exams. The exact number of exams depends on the subject and course.
Other: The campus has a number of fests, including Shruti and Sudhee. There are also many clubs, including the photographic club, the Samskruti club, the Chaaya club (for direction and acting), Astra, NSS, and the sports club. Some of the best celebrations are Bathukamma Dandiya and Deepavali.

I haven't got placements in the campus but it was a good experience .
Placements: The college boasts an impressive placement record, with top companies recruiting students from various disciplines. The placement cell provides training and support to students, ensuring they are industry-ready. The college has a strong network of alumni and industry partners, facilitating internships, projects, and job opportunities. Recent placement statistics show a high percentage of students securing jobs, with average salary packages ranging from 3-10 lacs per annum, depending on the discipline and company.
Infrastructure: The course infrastructure includes state-of-the-art classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and modern computer centers. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, providing seamless internet connectivity. The library is stocked with an extensive collection of books, journals, and online resources. The hostel facilities are comfortable and secure, with amenities such as mess halls, recreational areas, and laundry services. The campus also features sports facilities, a gym, and a medical center, ensuring a holistic learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty for the course consists of experienced instructors who are industry experts and researchers. The curriculum is comprehensive, balancing theoretical and practical components, and includes internships, projects, and research opportunities. Evaluations include written tests, practical exams, presentations, and case studies. The emphasis is on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. The course provides students with a well-rounded education, preparing them for their future careers. Expert faculty and relevant curriculum ensure student success.
Other: There will be fests throughout the year.

The college is satisfactory, but there is a feeling that more could be done.
Placements: CBIT college is well known for placements in our course. The highest package is 25 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 3.5 lacs per annum. They provide the best training for placement with industry experts. The companies such as IBM, Infosys, and Amazon, among others.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the college are good. In classrooms, they have fixed the Wi-Fi and installed new projectors. The facilities, such as nice desks and effective classes with the latest gadgets, contribute to better learning. The hostel is well-equipped with facilities like good food and water.
Faculty: The teachers are good; they explain concepts in an effective and interactive way so that every student can understand. They prepare students for the industry. Semester exams are challenging to pass, with a passing percentage of 57% in our course. Compared to other courses, we have a challenging syllabus.

Overall, a satisfying experience.
Placements: Placements are good, with around 80% to 100% of students placed. The highest package is 40 to 1 crore+ LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Top recruiters: Google, Amazon, Infosys. Internship placement is around 60% to 100%. Roles offered include software developer, data scientist, and good placements, but teachers.
Infrastructure: The department offers well-equipped classrooms with projects, high-speed Wi-Fi, laboratories, and a well-stocked library for studies. Hostels have clean rooms, adequate water supply, and common areas, while the mess and canteen provide decent, hygienic food. Sports infrastructure for both indoor and outdoor games is good.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and approachable, providing excellent support to students. Semester exams are moderately challenging, but with proper preparation, they are manageable. The pass percentage is high, reflecting the supportive academic environment.
Other: Our batch had a diverse group of students with a mix of talents and interests, pursuing a well-rounded course focused on both theory and practical applications. The best aspects are the hands-on projects and updated curriculum, but improvements can be made by introducing more internships and industry exposure. Good connectivity and engaging extracurricular activities, with scholarships available for deserving students.

It's better compared to other colleges, but in terms of placement companies, it is somewhat backward
Placements: None of the students were placed till now in our branch ECE. But in IT and AIML courses, it is far better, as many students got internship opportunities at high levels. The top recruiting companies are as follows: MICROSOFT, GOLDMAN SACHS, BARCLAYS, PROVIDENCE, and others.
Infrastructure: Facilities availability is good. There is a lot of infrastructure like the library, labs for core and other branches, and all classrooms and seminar halls, etc. Whatever is required. And coming to sports, volleyball and cricket are the most played games in our college, and many indoor games are available, like chess, carrom, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well knowledgeable. They have a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience in teaching the subject. The course curriculum helps students to be ready for the industry. The semester exams are done as usual in other colleges, with moderate toughness. The pass percentage is nearly up to 85%.
Other: The best ever thing about our college is that we have only 5 working days per week. And the main thing is that faculty gives full support to extracurricular activities. Events are done extraordinarily, but only once a year.

Strong placements, and vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am from the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department at CBIT, and my batch graduated in 2024. Around 85% of students in our course secured placements, reflecting a strong placement record. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: The ECE department at CBIT offers well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a vast library with relevant resources. Hostels provide clean rooms, medical care, sports facilities, and quality food in the mess and canteen, fostering a comfortable learning environment.
Faculty: Teachers in the ECE department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive, ensuring effective teaching quality. The course curriculum is industry-relevant, focusing on core and emerging fields. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a pass percentage of around 85%-90%.
Other: I chose ECE for its blend of hardware and software knowledge, offering diverse career paths. The best aspects include industry-relevant labs and strong placement opportunities. Improvements could focus on updated tools and more practical exposure. CBIT hosts vibrant fests, has an active campus crowd, good connectivity, scholarships, and supports extracurriculars like sports and teach clubs, creating a well-rounded student life.
