Review of Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: The placements for CSE and ECE is okay. Infosys or any startup can recruit you. There's hardly a placement for the civil students. Mechanical students also faced the problem of getting placed. The teaching isn't that good.

My college has good faculty, placement and they give the best results in Chandigarh.

Placements: The placements were good. Many of students got best jobs in best companies. The company gave a good chance to enhance our working skills. I think more than 85% of the students are placed. Many companies visit my college. I am doing my first-year Diploma, so I don't know very well, but I have heard that they give the best placement.

Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Usually, the college provides placement to deserving people. The college staff is well qualified and helpful. The building infrastructure has a very good study environment but is old. The structures of buildings are very poor, and the old hostel and mess are average. There is a good parking space provided.

Most amazing experience in CGC.

Placements: The college provides the number one placements in all over Punjab. 100% students are placed in our batch. Companies like Deloitte, Microsoft, LnT, Sapient, Gycus, Trantor, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Wipro, and IBM visit the college and conduct mass recruitments.

Satisfied with the faculty members, placements, and infrastructure.

Placements: There is a placement cell, which brings the various companies. The placement of CSE and ECE is more as compared to the mechanical and civil. The companies like Infosys, Google, Mahindra, Syska, Swaraj, etc., visit the campus to hire the students. The highest package offered this year is 23 LPA. If you have a decent score and have great skills, then you must get a better job opportunity.

Faculty, placement and infrastructure everything is good. But dissatisfied from 4 seaters room.

Placements: The placements offered are good. There is a competition of 4-5 colleges situated on the same road. They invite the companies for the placement to become number 1 college. Almost 80-85% of the students get placed who was eligible [ CSE ]. The average package offered was 3.25 to 3.5 lacs per annum. The companies like Cognizant, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. Recently, Micromax and Polaris also visited every year in the starting of 7th semester.

Satisfied because of good faculty and good infrastructure.

Placements: The 100% placement is there for CSE and ECE students, but for mechanical you have to work harder because only a few students got placed. The average package is 3.5 lacs per annum, and this year, Godrej, Mahindra, and Indian Oil came to the campus. Google and Oracle and hackathon and Mahindra make major workshop here. Training and placement cells are available here. Approximately 10 companies visited every day.

We cannot say absolutely satisfied but yes satisfied

Placements: Good amount of placements for computer science students and for the rest of branches, it depends only on their luck. Some of them get placed in Infosys itself. Electronics students also get placed to some extent. Up to 25 companies arrive in the college for placement in the 7th semester of every branch.

A highly recommended college for diploma and B.Tech

Placements: Only 2 students were selected for LNT. Other students planned to get admission in B.Tech. Few students got selected in other local companies. LNT visited the campus and offered multiple jobs in various diploma programmes. They offered a minimum of 2.5 lakh to the students.

The opportunities are provided, but to grab the opportunities learning is a difficult task in CCET.

Placements: The placement scenario is very average in CCET. The most of the students from CSE get placed, few from ECE though decidedly less in mechanical and civil. Around 60% of the seniors got placed. The highest packages were around 6-7 LPA while the lowest was 3.5 LPA. IT companies were also there. The signposts were a business analyst band, risk manager.

Average but dissatisfied due to the faculty.

Placements: The placements were overall average because the placement cell was not that active. Around 60% of the batch was placed, with rest of the batch either opting for higher studies or taking government job exams. The highest package was around 8-9 LPA for our batch and the lowest was 2.5 LPA.

I had a moderate experience.

Placements: Companies for core civil placements were nil. There were IT companies like Infosys which offered jobs to the civil students as well. The highest package offered by Infosys was 4.5 lakhs. CSE branch had a placement of about 90 percent but civil was on the lower side.

Not satisfied with the placements of 2013-2017.

Placements: Around 15 companies visited the campus. All the students from CSE batch were placed in different companies but talking about other streams in here, neither of the streams was placed in good companies as compared to CSE. About 20 students out of 60 from ECE got placed. Civil and mechanical branch also didn't get placement in core companies. The average package goes around 3.25 lakhs for all the streams.

Decent college but don't have a lot of expectations. It has its share of cons but pros as well.

Placements: Placements are given in the order: CSE> ECE> mechanical~ civil. CSE gets the maximum placements and decent packages. There were core companies visiting for mechanical as well. Civil placements in core companies are not good (even in IITs, civil engineers are unplaced) and most of them appear for exams like GATE or other state exams for government jobs.

A need to improve practical knowledge.

Placements: The placements in computer science have surely increased in the past 2 years and are constantly improving with high campus connects with Infosys. Campus connects and training sessions help in proper interviews and excelling of students. Also, there should be some advancements since the talent is wasted when big MNCs refuse to visit due to monetary issues.

Placements: The placements of ours and senior batch were great, and for juniors, it is getting better and better. The college has 100% placement. The highest salary offered goes to 6 lakhs, the lowest 3 lakhs and an average of 3.5 lakhs. The companies who visited the campus are Infosys, Quarks, TT Consultants, ClicksLabs, Mu Sigma, Envestnet Yodlee, CodeBrew Labs.
