Placements: Placements are good for computer science engineering and electronics and communication engineering branches at may be between 80-90 percent. Many companies (mostly software and IT companies) and a few startups from Chandigarh region visit the campus. Infosys, Sufi, Code Brew Labs, Click Labs, Gemini Solutions, U Trade, Axsiom, Mahindra, Punj Llyod, Mu Sigma and a few more names are there. For mechanical and civil, especially civil students, not expect placement in core companies because only on...

The degree wing, established in 2002 provides four branches of engineering, namely, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Civil and Mechanical. The college campus extends over an area of 32 acres and is divided into zones like administration blocks for Degree and Diploma stream, hostels and residential complex for faculty and staff. The infrastructure of degree wing comprises of 2 blocks (A&B), with plenty of lecture halls, tutorial rooms, computer labs, library and a multi-purpose hall...

This college is really very good. The faculty was excellent, the crowd was not so good, but there was no restriction of any kind. The main disadvantage of CCET is that it does not provide any placements. The fee structure of CCET is very low and the extra curriculum activities are not so much present. Except cricket, there is not much importance given to any other sports at this college. Participation in dancing, singing, modelling is common during the annual function. A blood donation camp is a...

Overall, a good college. The only problem was some of the faculty at my time which now has changed and is now better than before. The campus is a bit small as compared to other colleges. The subjects were good. The infrastructure is good as compared to other government colleges. It is Punjab University affiliated college. So, you get a PU degree, which is a very well reputed University.

CCET College is one of the college affiliated from Punjab University it is the one of the best engineering college in Chandigarh. Students from the college get placement in different companies like L&T AMW JSW KEZstroy CAT etc. The college is located in sector 26 Chandigarh and the toppers of AIEEE prefer this college also. One reason to join the college is fees the fees in the college is very cheap around 75-80k per annum so student from middle class family get best education at cheap price.

Faculty is quite good but hostel facilities and mess are not good. There is no place for students to gather around in canteen and no proper equipment for practicals. Students often bunk classes there is no issue of attendance which is the plus point for students. All students arrange companies themselves for placements. Even they offer lunch to interviewing officers come for placements in college. This is totally shame.

Classes are not so interactive in nature and are included by mostly lectures. An equal weightage of 50% is given to both internal and external exams. Tests are not conducted on a regular basis. Students are not given any handouts as such but most of the teachers share their presentations with them. There are professional and technical groups which are an integral part of the college. CCET is one of the top engineering colleges in Chandigarh region. It is affiliated to Punjab University. The campus life and crowd is good. CCET provides both diploma and B.E. courses on the campus. The college has a lot of clubs and activities in the college throughout the year. Every year, the college arranges a cultural fest and a tech fest. Everything is fine but one hiccup of the college is that our TPO is not very active. However, the placements are still okay. I like the marking sy...

I have mixed reviews for my college. The staff faculty is pathetic, the members do not work properly due to which the members of the staff do not take their jobs seriously and the students have to push themselves to complete the work that should be done by the staff. On the other hand, the teachers are able to teach the students well which gives my college something to be proud of and be a part of. Lectures are not boring, they are interactive and students enjoy learning stuff from the lecture...

If you really want to have fun with learning, this college is apt for your graduation. A very lively college, with numerous clubs to nurture a student, especially the Dramatics Club. Best for personality development. Excellent location of college so you will definitely enjoy your college life in Chandigarh. Placements were bit low, but gaining momentum with the change in management. Lack of companies visiting the campus is there but overall a good college to be in.

It is an institute affiliated to Panjab University, and among very few government colleges in Chandigarh. Crowd was excellent, with like-minded and goal oriented people studying together. Education here is absolutely affordable. Faculty has improved considerably compared to our time. Campus has been seeing development. Placements can be improved. Go for this college for the quality of the students that study in it.

Cafeteria is the place where half the college hangs out. The crowd is ok and the placements are not that good. The training and placement does not do a thing except for asking students to do the tpos task, i.e. to call for companies..
