Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Placements:
* Around 50-60% of students get placed annually.
* the highest package: INR20 LPA, the lowest package: INR1 LPA (some students received lower packages).
* Top recruiting companies: Google, Microsoft, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM, and Red Hat.
* Average salary package: Not explicitly mentioned, but reportedly ranging from INR1 LPA to INR12,000 per month.

Faculty and Course Curriculum:
* Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable.
* Course curriculum is decent, but lacks relevance to the industry.
* Some departments, such as Electrical Engineering, have highly qualified faculty members.

Infrastructure and Facilities:
* Good infrastructure, including WiFi-enabled hostels and classrooms.
* Library has a limited number of books, but overall provides essential resources.
* Labs are decently equipped, although some may require updates.
* Cleanliness and maintenance of facilities vary across departments.

Additional Insights:

While the placement record is moderate, the institution appears to prioritize faculty quality and maintains acceptable infrastructure standards. Ultimately, whether CIT is "worth the investment" depends on individual priorities and expectations.

Here are key recommendations for prospective students:

* Research the current market trends and demand for graduates in various fields before choosing a course.
* Evaluate the faculty-student ratio and assess the teaching quality in your desired department.
* Consider the internship opportunities and potential collaborations with industries.

By carefully weighing these factors, students can make informed decisions about investing in their education at CIT.

It provides good infrastructure, but it needs improvement.
Placements: About 62 students in our course got placed. At our time, only BPO companies visited our campus for placements, so I didn't attend any interviews. Some of my friends attended though, and they got a salary package of 2 LPA. Right now, only 3-4% of the students are working in core companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Wi-Fi facility is not that good, sometimes it works, and sometimes it does not work. Classrooms are well-maintained, and the library is available. Labs are properly equipped. The hostel is not as huge as it should be, but it has all the facilities like proper rooms, proper cleaning, etc. The hostel is Wi-Fi enabled.
Faculty: I don't know about the other branches, but in the electrical branch, all the faculty members were qualified. They had good command over their respective subjects. Some teachers were from NITs. Our branch also provided us with time for GATE preparation.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course is fascinating because you get to know about how the technology works, whether it is electrical, mechanical or computer science branch. You look at things differently from how you used to see them. I wish the college should provide more practical knowledge.

An average college because of the quality of the placement provided.
Placements: Placement in the college is not so good. The college usually provide placements in bpos and call centres. The college lacks in placement for the core branch. The average salary offered by the students ranges from two Lacs to three Lacs per annum. The college manages to attend job fairs to the students.
Infrastructure: The college is located at remote area. The Wi-Fi is available. Though the signal strength of the Wi-Fi is fairly low. The library condition is not so satisfactory. The sports field is available for the students. Medical facilities are not available but the general first aid is available.
Faculty: The faculty members are less experienced in the college. The faculty only focus more on syllabus completion rather than the overall development of the students which is the drawback of the institute. The theory classes are usually more than the practical sessions. The faculty members provides notes which are quite useful to study.

After all, I am feeling proud because I study in CIT.
Placements: I got admitted to this college in 2014 through AJEE main scorecard because without JEE scorecard you don't get admitted to this college. Finally, my placement is done in Torrent Power electrical company in 2018. This is not the first placement, as there are many placements in this company and placement offers are too good. Afterall 3 LPA is the minimum package, and it is true because I get this data from placement officer.
Infrastructure: CIT infrastructure is most favoured to the students and environment. This is situated in abroad, so in winter session we see this infrastructure feeling very well. The college labs and classrooms are fully digital. The first year student has English speaking lab, and they don't charge any fee. The college auditorium and seminar hall are very smart.
Faculty: The top quality of the college is this faculty. The faculty members are very flexible and more helpful for the student. I strongly agree with college teachers. There is no issue with the teachers because most of the teachers are GATE qualified so that students will get this chance. About 3 students in my batch have qualified GATE, and 7 friends are selected in PSU company. This is the great achievement for college and for us.
Other: At the time of my admission, many programmes are held for students. Mr and MS. Programme is organised to improve the speaking skills of English. This is a grateful moment for students because the student participation is compulsory and they charge no one fee for any game. The government will provide the scholarship for the people who belong to the backward class and for other students the college will provide scholarship.

Other: An awesome Campus with great Faculty Members. It’s a golden opportunity for those who find presentations a better option for study. Very good placement is also there. This Institution is great for learning students, with good care and support provided by the faculty members. The Hostel facility is very good, and the bed is available for all students. The laboratory is very good and the teachers here teaches well. At last, according to my opinion the college is one of the best college. College has a good infrastructure not compromising with nature. College has an excellent exposure to industries, hence students get placed in good companies with good salary packages. Canteens are great and provide clean environment. Library is digitalized with British council and books are provided for all the subjects.
