Review of Charuchandra College near the lake market.

Placements: Basically, they offered no placements but having a science degree especially in mathematics, you can get a job in the IT sector. Also, you can get a job as a faculty member in any institution like Pathfinder Institute. So basically, if you do a course in mathematics honour's with good grades, you don't have to look for placements, opportunities will come to you like I got a job in CMC Pvt Ltd and presently, I am working at Vodafone.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. Wi-Fi labs with AC rooms are available. Every department has separate labs and classrooms. There is no hostel facility available but there is a good canteen whatever your order is, the canteen guy can make it. Lastly, if you have any issue, you can directly go to the principal or HOD or go to the union as they are always there to help yo. I had not faced any kind of issues. About the union of my college, I would like to say they are friendly and never pressure young students to join them.

Faculty: Our department was good. Every faculty member is blessed with a different talent and different prospective to teachings. The HOD always organises different kinds of projects collaboration with other colleges which helped us in many ways. Also, the principal funded our projects to become successful. What I want to say is that every department's faculty members are good especially in mathematics, zoology and English.

Other: My college has great atmosphere no pressure from the union to join politics. Physics and chemistry department HODs are very helpful and they offered private tuitions as well. They even provide extra classes during the college hours. The zoology teacher NK Jana is great that is why we are still top in zoology marks than other colleges. Maths and physics labs are the best and they have improved drastically so one can get practices on their practical subject, like C programming and MATLAB.

Not good placements at the college.

Placements: In B.Sc., there were not many placement opportunities available at our college. Hardly 10–15% of students get placements at our college. The college placement cell was not highly developed and active. No student gets internships at our college. Our college provides the best quality knowledge to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was good. The campus of the college was very big. Every course has a different department building in the college. The college has both the physics and chemistry labs in it. The college has a library where students can get books at minimal cost. Sports facilities were available at the college.

Faculty: The faculty of our college were qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were trying their best for the students. Regular classes were conducted and all the practicals were done under proper teacher vigilance. The course curriculum at our college was relevant. Exams were easy to pass.
