It's alright. Not value for money.

Placements: Placements are alright. Companies are good, they are trying their best. Various kinds of companies visiting campus during placement drive. Basic percentages to sit for exams in 7+ with no backlog. They come for various profiles such as QA, B.A. and Software Developer.

Good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Placements were good for our senior batches. Almost 90% of seniors are placed with average package of 4-5 LPA. The highest package was 32 LPA in Amazon. The lowest package was of 2.75 LPA. We are currently in 6th semester and we are sitting in placements. Very good placements for computer Science engineering.

It is a good college, but is not recommended.

Placements: I think that the placements here are good. Many good companies visit here and give students nice packages. Some mass recruitment companies also come for the leftover students. So, almost all the students get placed. The average package is 3-4 LPA.

A 100% real review of Chitkara University.

Placements: About 70-80% of the students in my batch are placed till date, and only 2-3 mechanical core companies visit the campus every year, so a majority of the students have to go for IT or non-core companies. The packages offered by the core companies are 6 to 6.5 LPA, whereas packages offered by non-core companies are 2 to 3.5 LPA. As all the engineering students are freshers, post placement in the company, each has to complete one year as a GET (graduate engineer trainee).

Good university with decent placements

Placements: Placements are good. Lots of companies do visit the campus. Don’t go on their brochure for placements. You should know that almost 800 students pursue CS every year there and all of them are placed. If you outshine others, You’ll get placed no matter how is your cgpa . One of the best in the region, imagine a university calling companies for students who had less than 5 CGPA, you can have an idea of the effort that they put in so that all their students are placed in good companies. ...

I am from Mechanical Engineering Department. From studies and teaching point of view, syllabus is good enough but, majority of the Faculty Members are not able to generate interest among students towards this field and keep on threatening the students about their internal assessment. Teachers show zero interest in checking if a student has really learned something. The amount of fees they charge does not match the quality of education they provide. Workshop does not have good number of machines ...

Although it comes among the good colleges in Punjab, but it is still not good enough. Since it has become a university, its fee has soared and the placements provided are not comparable to the fee. It is not an A listed college and it is unrecognizable outside the state so the college name won’t benefit you in your future. The faculty is not that good and it is the same as with most of the average colleges in our country. The way the teachers teach is not interesting. However, the college pro...

Honest review about Chitkara.

Placements: Around 2400 students were enrolled in the course. The highest package was 1500000, and the minimum was 320000. Infosys, HDFC Bank, TCS, etc. are the top recruiters. Around 15% of students got internships in companies, and some got internships inside campus. Roles might be HR, clerk, or manager, but I am not sure about it.

okayish, placements are average and exams are comparatively disorganised

Placements: average placements, companies do come but most of the times they choose 2 to 3 candidates. I have to graduate in 2025 so still have limited knowledge about this but seniors told us many companies blacklisted our college and many companies didn't even come to the campus

It is an overcrowded campus and average faculty members.

Placements: The salary package offered in our college is 3 LPA – 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are mass recruiters. Most students get internships themselves and the ones provided on-campus lack diversity. Specialisations aren't looked after equally.

Review of Chitkara University.

Placements: Around 60 to 70% of students get placed. The highest salary package is around 10 to 15 LPA, the lowest salary package is around 3 LPA, and the average salary package is around 5 to 6 LPA. Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, and Wipro are some of the top recruiters. College provides internships but not all the students grab the internships. Internships culture is not that much good. Students get stipend up to Rs.30,000.

The infrastructure of this college is excellent.

Placements: A maximum number of students get placed at our university. A maximum number of students got internships. But due to the extra number of students enrolled in the same course, it makes it very difficult. Everyone is put up in just one course. There is lack of space but students are more than the space they have at the university.

Life in Chitkara University .

Placements: I am a student at Chitkara University pursuing a degree in computer science. Our university claims that all students are placed, but the majority of students are placed through mass recruitment. The top recruiting companies that come to our university are Amazon, Google, and Wipro. We learn programming, full stack development, and many more things in this course. The highest package offered in our university in our course is like Rs 25-30 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package is offered in mass...

Average campus and study opportunities lags in some backgrounds and on top in few.

Placements: Campus allows many opportunities for you to get placed almost every week one or two companies gonna visit the campus for placements. Only drawback is that the core companies in civil is very few big companies do visit the campus like TATA. Tech mahindra but they only select 2 or 3 students so you gotta try your best.
