On Admissions

Q:   Can I join CIET directly?

A:

No, you cannot enrol in the CIET directly. The programmes offered by the CIET are not intended to give pupils academic instruction directly; rather, they are meant to improve the knowledge and skills of educators. The majority of CIET's modest facilities and resources are allocated to training, research, and development initiatives. There is no infrastructure or mechanism in place at CIET to handle admissions and academics for students.

Students interested in educational research and development might periodically apply for internships offered by CIET. Internships like these can offer invaluable hands-on training and insight to CIET's operations. To find out about upcoming opportunities and keep up with their work, connect with CIET professionals on LinkedIn or through other professional networks. In the sphere of educational technology and research, these pathways can still offer priceless experiences and information.

Chitkara University: Explore your potential.
Placements: I am currently a student in Chitkara University Punjab, not yet passed out. The average package offered by the college is around 8 LPA with 4 LPA as the lowest. The highest package offered is around 30 LPA in computer Science and engineering. The placements are decent here. Top recruiting companies that often come are Amazon, Adobe, HP, Accenture, and many more. I am currently doing Bachelors of engineering in computer Science and engineering here. Students are offered internships also with a stipend of around 15,000-20,000. The university will keep you updated regarding all the coming internships and other.
Infrastructure: The college provides you with all the important facilities and the infrastructure of the college is outstanding. Many new buildings are being constructed currently. The campus is good and nightlife is great. All time Wi-Fi is available and all types of labs and libraries are present. Classrooms are also well constructed. Hostels provided by the college are decent. You can get all types of rooms available with different prices. The mess food is also decent and has wide variety.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated. Almost all the faculty is Ph.D. The way of teaching is decent, teaching is done both theoretically and practically. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry ready as they will encourage you to participate in various competitions, hackathons and many more. The college itself hosts many Competitions of its own. You can also do startups, almost everything is available. The difficult level is also decent. The exams are moderate tough. Pass percentage is 40% in each subject.
Other: You can go for this college if you are searching for a private college in North. The college has a good college life, with satisfactory events and fests. The campus crowd is decent and friendly and the college has good connectivity too. You will get everything available in the campus itself. I choose this course in this college because doing BE was my dream and the college had good placement records. Many of my freinds are passed out from the college and their review about the college was also good.

Average faculty, average package, good infrastructure.
Placements: I'm currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering from Chitkara University, Rajpura, Punjab. It's my second semester and so far I feel things are going okay. Classes have an average of 80 students. As of my interactions with the seniors, they've told that the highest package this year was 43 Lacs per annum and the median package being something around 8 LPA, which according to me is pretty average. An average of 60% students have got internships so far.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good, I feel. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the whole campus, even in hostels. The food quality I can say is decent but lacks variety. If you get too bored, you can go out and eat at Square1, it's good but I feel it's very pricey. As a student, everybody is on a limited budget, and if you want to eat out, it gets very expensive. Also, the medical facility isn't that great. We've a 24x7 ambulance for emergencies, but other than that the facility is very poor.
Faculty: The teachers were average; some were good at teaching, some were not. I would say that everybody was qualified enough and had the knowledge, but not everybody had the teaching skills. The course curriculum was relevant; they taught us all the basic subjects that were necessary to build the basic concepts of computer. The semester exams were average, and the passing percentage is 40% in every subject.
Other: I chose Computer Science because I felt in the upcoming time this would be the most useful and I could earn a good living if I had some coding skills. The things I would like to improve about my course would be adding some more practical experience than just teaching theory, helping students enhance their soft skills, promoting healthy competition by organizing coding competitions, and also I would want them to ease up a little on the attendance criteria. It gets pretty hectic managing the attendance, academics, extracurriculars, and your self-time.

Infrastructure is good but poor faculty
Placements: Only 10-15 % student were placed in our course Highest package 12-15 lpa Lowest package 3-4 lpa offered Tcs, airtel and some new startups 10-15% students got internship in tcs and some new startups Data analytics , web developer , website testing
Infrastructure: Wifi is avalable but not working Labs are small Computers are not working Library is very messy Class room are so small ac's are not working Hostel food is average Hostel guards are to rude Mess food is worst Only infra structure in good in this campus
Faculty: Teachers are qualifies but not helpful for students Poor teaching quality Course curriculum is not relevant in my opinion it is not make the student industry ready Msts are easy but the final papers are very tough Pass percentage is 40-45% but it is not sufficient
Other: Nothing is best in this course No fest for day scholars

My College Review - College Experience.
Placements: The placements are very good. Various top MNC's, including CISCO, INFOSYS, Wipro, L & T Technologies, Tech Mahindra, TCS, and more. There are various internship opportunities available in our college. From the 6th semester, students are eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very amazing. Various facilities are available, like modern labs. Faculty are very supportive. Medical facilities are also available. Hostels are neat and clean, and meals are average. Green, lush campus. Classrooms are well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good; they are very much qualified as all are Ph.D. scholars. The curriculum is very relevant and good for the students. There are a total of four exams, out of which three are sessional tests (I, II, III) and one end term. The difficulty level of the exams is medium.
Other: Yes, there are scholarship opportunities available in our college. Various fests also take place in our college. Chandigarh is only a 30 to 45 km drive away from our university. There are various brands available on our campus for parties and enjoyment.

From Freshmen to Future: Navigating the College Odyssey.
Placements: Placements are very decent of my college BE CSE programme. The highest package was around 50 LPA, I guess, and the lowest is around 3-4 LPA. Around 95% of the students get placed for internships in good companies, not the top ones but decent, and some companies are good.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by our college include Wi-Fi, labs, larger classrooms, and a library. The library of our college is slightly small but has a good amount of different types of books. We have games, good balconies, and the cleanliness is really good in our hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and are very interactive with the students. The teachers are really good and understandable, so the teaching quality is obviously better. Yes, the curriculum is relevant and it makes the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I love coding and I wish to do much better in this field.

Placements are good here in comparison to other private colleges .
Placements: Our college provides good placements every year. Many big companies recruit from our college regularly, including MNCs. Companies take a written test and interview before selecting the students. Internships are also provided by the college. So placements are good in our course, with an average package of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are affordable, and all facilities are available like laundry, gyms, etc. Wi-Fi is available for students and faculty members. Classrooms are fully ventilated. The overall infrastructure of our course is good. Food of mess is also good, according to me. Sports facilities are available.
Faculty: Our course is well designed and it gives practical knowledge about industry. Teachers are well qualified and experienced. They are available to help anytime and they support students. Exams are not very difficult. Mentors are also very good in our course. Overall, the teaching quality is good.
Other: The campus is surrounded by beautiful villages.
