The infrastructure of college is good. Faculty members are good enough to teach us good knowledge.

Placements: 70% students got placed in last year placement from my branch with average package of approximately 3.3 Lacs per annum (Rs 27500 per month). The highest package was 4.2 Lacs per annum (Rs 35000 per month) and 2.4 Lacs per annum (Rs 20000 per month). Overall placement is good.

If you have very good marks, you can choose another better college.

Placements: Above 60% of the students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Roles are not offered to the students. In our course, the highest salary package offered ranges from 4 to 5 LPA. Almost 40% of the students got an internship in companies like BSNL, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and many IT companies.

This college is not good for those who want good placements.

Placements: There are no placements in this college. Only 1-2 local companies visit the college for placements. The average salary offered ranges from 3-5 LPA. If you want to be placed in top companies, then you have to go for the pooled campus. I heard that from the year 2005-2012, top companies visited here for placements. But as of now, top companies do not visit our campus.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty as well as the quality of teaching and placements.

Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Jaro education, Vivo, etc., are the top recruiting companies. No top roles are offered in our course. None of the students from our course got any internship. Placements in our college are very poor. The college doesn't provide any internships.

The college is not that good.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. The salary offered by the company is not satisfied. The college doesn't organise any industrial training. As the college doesn't organise any kind of industrial training, there is no word of providing a stipend. The college has a placement cell.

The college provides moderate facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college are not that good. Last year, a few companies visited the campus for placements, but they were not good. Students are sent for pool campusing where the average salary package offered is moderate. Students mainly have to depend on the off-campus and pool campusing. Placement cell is present here. Internships are not provided to students. This year, students went on a strike for the improvement of placements.

I am not at all satisfied with this college.

Placements: None of the reputed companies visited our campus for placements. Maximum placements are through pool campus placements. Almsot 70% of the students got placed last year and most of them got placed through pool campus placements. There is a placement cell. I don't have idea placements as placement programme has not yet started.

It is the worst college ever with no placements or studies. It is not at all recommended.

Placements: The college offers the worst placements. I'm in 4th year now, and not even a single company has recruited students from our college. Students from other colleges have already been placed and received there offer letters. The previous year, not even a single company visited the campus for recruitment, and all students attended pool campus drives. They were offered an average salary package of 2-3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was about 3.5 LPA.

The college has amazing faculty and overall learning experience.

Placements: Placements are average here, but not less or not very high. Most of the renowned companies visit the campus for campusing, and good students thus have a pretty decent chance. They offer technical and managerial roles to the students. Airlines companies also visit our campus for campusing and offer good job profiles, which has been seen for the past few years. The average salary package offered is around 2-3.5 LPA.

It is a C grade institute of engineering and management.

Placements: Placement scenario in the college is very poor. There were nil placements for the last 2-3 years. They invite duplicate companies like Pansonic, not Panasonic. Fake jobs are also provided to some final year students. Though we made a blackout about this matter and asked the editor to resolve the issue, they promised us with fake words.

The college needs to follow the modern education system.

Placements: Although the placement support is not up to the level for core companies, IT companies do visit the campus. The education system is good. There need some changes in the placement system and rules, according to me. Nearly about 30% of the students got placed in core companies, and some of the students opted for higher studies like M.Tech and MBA.

I had a great experience at CIEM.

Placements: I got placed in Cognizant Technology Solutions after the completion of my B.Tech. The campus interview was held at our college premises. I had a great experience at my college. Faculty members were supportive, understanding and friendly. The infrastructure of the college is excellent.

The college has moderate infrastructure.

Placements: Placements for the 2017-18 pass out batch were moderate. About 54% of the students got placed in many reputed companies across the country. The average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. More than 70% of the students from 2nd and 3rd years got internships.

The college provided good experience with great culture.

Placements: It is one of the best colleges in Kolkata in terms of facilities, teaching and infrastructure, but it is not at all good in terms of placements. They do not make any efforts for placements. Only some small companies used to visit the college each year, and they used to select only 5% of the students. The placement cell is good, and the TPO is also very supportive but maximum students remain unemployed each year.

The college is average as events held in our college are not routine.

Placements: Recently, many companies visited the college for placements, and they had a good response. The placement percentage is increasing year by year. The average salary package offered is 1.20 LPA which is satisfactory for me. Generally, telecom companies visit the college to hire students.

I feel happy for studying in CIEM.

Placements: Placements in the college are more or less okay. No good companies have visited our campus. You can say that it is a horrible experience. I saw a few girls getting placed, but not boys. However, some good girls did not get placed too. Some startup companies visited our college and recruited us. The lowest salary package offered was 1.80 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA.

The experience at CIEM is worth having.

Placements: Placements in the college were good. TCS visited and recruited students with a package of 6 LPA. Many students have opted for off-campus placements. But still, about 80% of students were placed in the college. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. GD and PI conducted during the campus drives were harsh but fair. Overall, it was a good year for placements. Students of all streams were placed, and most of the students who get placed are f...

It is a good place to learn, and the college is helpful.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. IIP and TTC play a pivotal role in counselling and guiding the students to have successful placements. It is a crucial interface between the stages of completion of the academic programme of the students and their entry into suitable employment.
