If you are searching for a college with less fee and You want to avoid regular classes

Placements: Placements in this college for civil branch is not that much good. But for other departments placements are really impressive. As the data says 65 percent of students got gob from the campus. Multi national Company like TCS, vipro, techmahindra, etc. Came for campusing previous year.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, no good placement, but really good infrastructure.

Placements: I am a student from Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management. Our college is good for fun. But not for studies. With almost no placement. But many students can get scholarships. The companies that visited our college is not up to the mark and the faculty members are not up to the mark as well.

It can be a good option for your career, so good luck.

Placements: Placement of the college not bad. Placement of BCA IT, CSE, EE, much better. And annual package is quite impressive. And companies like infosis, wipro, tsc is regular. Almost 40% students got their internship from college. And there is a placement cell in the college.

On a short note, the college is above the average, comparing with the other engineering college.

Placements: Placement is not that bad. All the companies coming to the campus, are from IT sector actually. So IT and CSE students get the job before the completion of the course. But most of the companies are new-comer to the industry. Also some start up companies come to college for placement. There are some cases where fake placement allegations are imposed to the college placement officer. But to be honest the placement cell members do a fair job on their half.

Absolutely satisfied with my college.

Placements: Placement is good for IT, CSE ECE and electrical department. But there is no placement for civil engineer. Here good companies came for campusing. They offer so many jobs for the students and gives good salaries. Placement cell is there in our college. The faculty of our placement cell is very polite and helpful.

It is not the best but definitely it can be.

Placements: They are giving placement, but we cant say whether it is good or bad. According to me, it is good to have something than nothing. When most of the colleges are not offering placement, this college is providing placements. Companies like HCL, Deloitte, Zycus, Genpact etc. are recruiting students.

Calcutta Institute Of Engineering & Management.

Placements: The placement provided through the college placement facility is below average as most of the recruiting companies that visit the campus are call centres. Our college provided internship to all the students of our batch but was not able to provide proper placement to all the candidates.

The college is overall good for education, but not for infrastructure and placement.

Placements: The placements are good, about 75% of the students get placed. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Sunte and many others visit for placements. They give the package about 3 to 3.5 lacs per annum. The deserving student gets good placement on the basis of merit. The placement cell of the college is very good.

Overall a good college. It's totally upto you to choose the appropriate college for you.

Placements: I got selected for two companies. One of them was in Mohali which was fake and the other one was in Kolkata but the package they offered was not that good. In fact, Tech Mahindra also came to our college and recruited about 50 students. Overall the placements that college offers is average.

Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management is neither good nor bad.

Placements: About, 70% of the students of CSE branch got selected by the different MNCs and the local companies. But only a few student like 10 to 15% students are satisfied with their job. Lots of students are not satisfied with the job because most of them get BPO jobs, data analyst job or system operator job. The highest salary offered by an MNC company was 3.6 LPA in which only three students get selected for the job. The average salary for the student was 1.5 LPA, and the lowest salary was 0. No problem with faculty and infrastructure, but there is a prior need for placement.

Placements: The placement is not as good as we expected when we took admissions. The pay scale is comparatively lesser than the other colleges. The recruiting companies are mainly startups who were looking for developers for their websites. I am from CSE branch, so I don't have information about other departments.

A good college with good professors.

Placements: The placements were pretty decent in 2016. Around 85-90% of graduates were placed in good companies. Companies which hired students are Amazon, IBM, Tech Mahindra, TCS, Think and Learn, etc. Roles offered to students are testers, web developers, associate engineer, etc.

A decent college for taking admission

Placements: It has almost 100% placements in companies with Tech Mahindra and HCL being the regular recruiters. The institute also provides placement assistance to the students for getting placed in companies like TCS, CTS, and Accenture by enrolling their names for tests like AMCAT and in portals like Cocubes, Monsterjobs, etc.

The best college in many fields except placement.

Placements: When it comes about the placement, this institute does not have that much strong training and placement cell. Mainly the companies hire B.tech students and also a few members. For MBA students the opportunities are less. The average package will be from 2.4 LPA to 3.6 LPA. And last year Zycus came with the highest package of 5.25 LPA CTC.

A fruitful learning environment college for engineering with an addition of decent placements.

Placements: The placement scenario is quite good in our college. For the instrumentation department and as well as the other departments, the total percentage of placement is 85% in our batch. But, the placement in core company is not good. The college provides the placements in IT, BPO, customer executive, voice process, Business analyst and software engineer post. In 2017 batch and our previous year batch, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Ericsson, IBM, TCS, Zycus and many reputed and new software, IT company ha...

This college is best for average students. The faculty is good but the placements are average.

Placements: Though the placement is not very high, it is quite good. 25-30% of the students can job through campusing. The college also organises off-campus recruitment for the students. The companies which come here are not highly reputed. Most of the students in my batch didn't join the companies which came here for campusing because the salary was too low. The salary package offered by the company was minimum Rs. 10k per annum and the maximum was Rs. 22k per annum No students got the internship from thi...

CIEM Tollygung, its scholarship facility is still the hope of poor family students to grab B.Tech

Placements: Placements of this college are not satisfactory, though mostly all students get placed in reputed MNCs with their own effort. On-campus placements should improve soon for a better future of this college. Our senior batches also having worse campusing only Tech Mahindra visits as a reputed MNC on the campus. But from here, we have got the opportunity to give AIMCAT and Cocubes exams free of cost and from Cocubes, I have got placed in Ericsson.

Good engineering college at a very prominent location.

Placements: The college arranged for the AMCAT examination for the final-year students. Through AMCAT, students got placed in various companies of repute like TCS, Cognizant and Accenture. The prominent company which came for mass recruitment in 2014 was Tech Mahindra. Roles offered ranged from analyst to system engineer.

A good accessible learning environment.

Placements: The main recruiter from our college is Tech Mahindra which comes almost every year. It was an on-campus drive. Apart from that, in our year there were several pooled campus placements like Cognizant, Capgemini, Persistent Systems and Ericsson for CS and IT not for ECE. The students were mainly offered roles as an IT analyst or a software Engineer. The highest package offered to the students was around 3.8 LPA and the lowest was around 1.5 LPA. But only IT company Tech Mahindra visited our campus...

Placements: 60% students were placed in our batch. The range of salary is 10k -20k. Tech Mahindra, E9 Solutions, Reliance, HCL etc. were companies that visited our campus. Mainly students were hired for sales and marketing and Tech Mahindra hired students as junior software engineers. No one got internships from the college.
