Great placements, a modern curriculum, and a vibrant campus.
Placements: About 85% of students got placed with a salary package of 3.5 LPA to 44 LPA. Internships offered by companies are Wipro and Capgemini. I'm from the 2026 batch B.Tech CSE Batch. Placements have been a highlight of my college experience. About 85% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 44 LPA. Top companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, and Deloitte hire many students.
Infrastructure: This college has a well-maintained campus with facilities that cater to students' needs. Labs are well-equipped, especially for AI and IOT enthusiasts. Classrooms are spacious with Wi-Fi and projectors. The library is a mix of digital and physical resources, making it easy to access study materials. The infrastructure is excellent.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college are approachable and experienced. They explain concepts and are always ready to clarify doubts. The curriculum is up-to-date and industry-oriented, with courses on trending technologies like AI, machine learning, Java, and Python. Exams are fair, and most students clear them with a little preparation.
Other: I chose B.Tech in CSE. It is attracted by its modern curriculum in AI and data science.

Good college, you have a bright future.
Placements: Many students in our college are selected in top MNC companies in IT and core sectors with the highest packages, and some students get internships in top MNCs like TCS, WIPRO, DELOITTE, and etc., with good stipends. Almost all students are placed in top MNCs.
Infrastructure: In our college, the facilities and infrastructure are available with good maintenance. We have availabilities, and the food quality and quantity are nice. We have Wi-Fi connectivity also, and we have canteen and medical facilities also. The quality of canteen, mess, and everything was so cool.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Every teacher takes care of every student. They give theoretical and practical knowledge. They teach us well, give projects, clarify doubts, and guide us in a good way. They always support us.

The placement percentage is decreased, and the college is absolutely dissatisfying.
Placements: Our branch is the first pass out branch in this year in R22 regulations with the highest package of fifty-eight LPA. The average package is about six LPA. Compared to other colleges for the better environment and to experience college life, this college is suitable.
Infrastructure: Our college placement recruitment is from top MNCs. In our college, jammers are there so there is difficulty in our college for internet. In labs, most of the computers are getting a shock due to the old furniture. The classrooms, some of the rooms are good but some of the rooms there is a lack of benches.
Faculty: In the first year of my academic year, the faculty is quite good. After the completion and entrance of the second, the assistant professor, which has no experience at all, they are teaching, so it is difficult. So we are mostly depending on YouTube for our study.
Other: This course, no knowledge about this at all as this course is not entered in our subject, it is in my third year.

Best Infrastructure of This CMR
Placements: CMR College of Engineering is known for its placements and internships. More than 80 percent of students are placed all over the college. The highest package is 58 lakhs CTC. The average package is 6 Lacs CTC. The top companies are Deloitte, PayPal, Palo Alto, etc.
Infrastructure: The main thing I like about CMR College of Engineering and Technology is the build and infrastructure of the campus. The cafeteria is also good based on its infrastructure and hygiene maintained by the management. When it's the topic of sports, CMRCET is better for participating in sports.
Faculty: Most of the faculty and management are pretty good based on their positions. But many of them are not well-known for the modern skills which are required for the upcoming software sectors. There are 8 semesters throughout the CSE course. Each semester consists of 2 semesters.
Other: I only chose this college because of the infrastructure and placements at CMR College of Engineering and Technology. When it comes to events, CMRCET is better compared to other colleges.

CMR College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Generally, in my course, around 90 percent of the students get placed, but they need to meet the eligibility criteria of what a student needs to achieve to be in the placement cell, which is difficult for many students. Many companies come to recruit on campus, but the major recruiting companies are Capgemini, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, and Wipro. They generally hire managers and freshers. The highest package offered last year by Amazon was 53 LPA, and the lowest was around 2 LPA. Internships are not many in the college, and only the most interested students get them.
Infrastructure: The college is not that big, but not small either. Collectively, all of the CMR Group of Institutions have a very big campus and space. Wi-Fi is generally not given to students in the college, and the cellular signals are also weak on campus as it is located outside the city. I am not staying in the hostel, but according to my hostel friends, the rooms are spacious and clean, and it is a big building. However, the food does not meet the standard of what they paid for; moreover, the college hostel is expensive.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:22. We have mentors to guide us throughout the course. In the first semester, we had PPS Mam, who didn't give much information about the subject, so I didn’t learn much. In the first semester, we had a matrices and calculus subject where the faculty taught us very well. There are 5 exams overall: the first mid in the first two months of the semester, lab internals, the second mid, external laboratory exams, and semester-end exams.
Other: I got admission to this college through the TS ECET entrance examination, where I chose this college as an alternative to others because it is the best college for my rank of 26,000. The scholars don’t have much in terms of facilities. Generally, the process for the fresher's event happens in November or December, which is not that good. We have the annual cultural fest called Asura, typically conducted in April or May. A technical festival is held, but it is not regular; it depends on the mode of the management.

It was good, but still need so much improvement.
Placements: Mostly 2/5 people get placed I guess. The lowest is 3 LPA the highest is probably 33 LPA. Accenture, Capgemini, and TCS are the top recruiting companies. 2/8 people get internships from our college and those 2 might get placed in that company itself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, not bad. Wi-Fi and labs are outdated, and the classrooms are fine but can be even better. The only good thing we have in our college is a good library. We have good hostel facilities, they are clean and well maintained.
Faculty: Few faculty are so good and few are so bad, some even learn from us. They only teach you the basics, and the remaining, we should learn ourselves. They are tough but studying hard will make it easy, the pass percentage is 35-40%.
