Very good infrastructure and the faculty, but dissatisfied because of the placements.

Placements: Many companies come from IT sector. Only, the students in CSE, ISE, ECE, TC and sometimes EEE are advantageous. There are lesser core companies for mechanical students, and almost no company for civil students come for placements. As a result, the students from these two branches tend to apply for an IT or finance related jobs which in turn makes them dissatisfied. The placements in previous batches were up to the mark. But in this year, it's not good. Only, a fraction of students even in ECE an...

Teachers are not up to the mark. Campus is good and clean. Nice place for sports.

Placements: 80% of the students will be placed in their final year, but only a few of the students who have aggregate above 60 will have chances of getting into core companies, rest will be placed in BPOs and tech support. The maximum package for a student goes from 7 Lacs to minimum 3 Lacs per year. The major companies which intake at CMRIT are Nokia, Sony, IBM, HP, Amazon, Deloitte, AIG, TCS, L&T, etc.

There are really good faculty members, and playground is also nice.

Placements: ECE engineers get higher placement than any other course engineers. The average package offered is around 3 LPA 4 LPA. This college is NAAC accredited. Only two colleges in Bangalore are good with an A+ grade from NAAC. One of which is CMRIT. So, the placements of the college is good. Its rank in COMEDK exam is 11th. So, it is a good college; you can try.

This is a good option to choose as it is a well-defined college.

Placements: The placements are good with the packages varying from Rs. 5L to Rs. 6L being the maximum offers and Rs. 1.8 L being the minimum offer. The companies like Delloite and HP are the reputed ones that come. One must be good in academics to get placed. So, accordingly, the companies come to pick up the students with good abilities.

It is a good and knowledge oriented college.

Placements: The placement is good for CS, EC and IS branches. The core companies will not come for the mechanical branch. 90% of the students from these branches got placed in our batch and senior batch. Training for placement is also good. The management should focus the placements of other branches.

The college was very good, with experienced faculty members, and topmost placement.

Placements: More than 25 companies visited our college, and almost 70% of the students are placed in our college, for our senior batch they offered very good placement service. Some companies provide no criteria also, some companies are taking for basic of the first class. The role of the student is tech support, project manager etc.

A great college which changed my future. New joiners will change much more than me.

Placements: The placements were awesome, nearly 90 percent of the students are placed from IT branches like computer science and information science. The placements are good for electronic communications also, but there are not many opportunities for mechanical, civil and telecommunication engineering students. The highest salary offered was 12 LPA, and the average salary was 3-4 lakhs per annum. Overall, the college has 85% of the placements in the last year.

It is a good college to study.

Placements: The placements are good for IS and computer science students. There is a lot of scope. The placements are good for ECE and EEE students but not in core companies. Many IT sector companies visit the campus for placements. You must have good CGPA and good arithmetic thinking to get placed.

Good college but placements in mechanical engineering are tough.

Placements: TV comes in 8th semester. Rest, there are plenty of IT sector companies for hiring mechanical engineering people. The college is trying to get more core companies on the campus. The placements will improve eventually, and are increasing. Overall, it is a good place to study.

There should be a little improvement in the infrastructure.

Placements: The college has a very good placements record in the past years with the TCS being one of the major recruiters. There are even pool interviews conducted in the college. The starting salary package offered to the students is around Rs. 3.5LPA. The placement bureau inside the college is highly active in inviting companies to the college.

Review on CMR Institute of Technology.

Placements: 80-90% placement was seen in the last few years. TCS recruits the majority of engineers in this college. Deloitte, Capgemini, Cognizant, Mu Sigma are few more companies which recruit in bulk. The placement cell is very active. Decent placement and decent salary could be expected.

Costly but satisfied with faculty, good placements in 2016, infrastructure is good.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in 2016 batch was about 96%. The highest salary offered was about 8 LPA and the lowest was 1 LPA as per my knowledge. Names of some of the companies are L&T, Deloitte, Delta X. TCS, etc. Students were given roles like placement coordinator, chief placement coordinator, etc. Very few companies offered the internship and about 20-30 students were selected. The highest stipend this year was 18,000 and the lowest was 8,000.

Good college location and the infrastructure is world-class.

Placements: Placements are above average. You can get placed if you have good programming knowledge and good communication skills. The placement cell will help you a little during the placements but the programming knowledge is a must. That's why it is advisable to opt for CSE or ISE branch.

Good number of placement and overall good place to enjoy college life.

Placements: Placements in the civil branch are less as compared to other technical Departments like CS, IS, EC etc. Last year, TCS took 203 students from my college (Highest from one company). In 2016, a total of 554 students was selected in total. Other companies coming for placement were Delloite, L&T Infotech, SAP Labs, Sony, IBM, TE Connectivity, Dell, Cognizant, Amazon Web Service etc.
