Average placement opportunities, good lab infrastructure.
Placements: Mainly IT-based companies come there and offer placements to students. So, we biotechnology students needed to appear for interviews there, as pharma companies and biotechnology-related companies rarely come to the college. Accenture is one of the top recruiters that comes there.
Infrastructure: There is a good lab with all the relevant equipment needed to build a strong practical background. The canteen and hostel mess serve average-quality food. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys' hostel is within the college premises, whereas the girls' hostel is located outside the college premises. They provide bus service to reach there.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and have knowledge about the subject. They are not quite friendly, though. Getting good marks in every subject is considered the responsibility of the students alone. Faculty members will provide a question bank for students before they appear for the semester exam. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are not quite difficult.
Other: Biotechnology is offering a promising career in the pharmaceutical industry and medical field after the pandemic situation. Campus events and fests are held.

The best college regarding teachers interaction.
Placements: Placements are pretty good, but most of the companies that came to our college are BPO-based. Companies like Sutherland, TCS, Deloitte, Zoho, and Accenture came to our college for placement in the 2023–2024 academic year. I suggest this college for good teacher interaction.
Infrastructure: The 1st year hostel was very good, neat and clean; the mess was also clean and the food provided there was also warm; the rooms were pretty much clean and bigger than the 2nd year hostel. The 2nd year hostel contains all the PG students, and they all live in mixed surroundings.
Faculty: I will appreciate the faculty, curriculum and exams of our course; the best part of this college is our teachers. The teachers are very interactive. If you want some help even at night, they are always there for you. And they teach well too.
Other: My name is Krishna Farswan, and I am in the 2022-2025 batch. I would like to suggest this college only for a good teaching environment. Some of the extracurricular activities are sports day and Codac.

Unforgettable moments.
Placements: I am a student at CMS College of Science and Commerce. 40% of students were placed in our batch. The minimum package is INR 4,00,000 and the maximum percentage is INR 7,00,000. Our college has offer several internships for commerce students in both startups and developed companies which are located in Coimbatore. 20-30% of us got internships in our batch.
Infrastructure: There are three types of hostels in our college, each with a different fee structure based on the infrastructure. The hostels have a warden who is very supportive. The college has an efficient library with a good collection of books and articles related to all departments. But the best thing about our college is the sports facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum at my college is very efficient, and they update it based on industry needs. The professors really know how to make the material interesting, and they often use practical classes to help us understand the material. The exams are not too difficult, because the professors prepare us well through their classes and several internal exams.
Other: I just want to explore the commerce sector after my schools. So I decided to choose CMS due to their specialization in commerce and their good reviews in Google while I was searching for a college. They do need to improve their hostel facilities, though.

I am not satisfied with teachers and resources of this college.
Placements: Only some of the companies came for placements for our seniors and from that, only 20% were selected. The salary package is around 2 LPA - 5 LPA. The major companies recruit fewer students from our college. PG students have higher value in the companies for placements.
Infrastructure: First of all, there is no Wi-Fi for students, but in labs, systems have Wi-Fi. Lab has around 60 systems in each lab. There are two labs. Classrooms have a smaller volume of space. Benches are normal in rating. There are air-conditioning facilities and fans will be in good condition. Library has only some books, mostly about programming.
Faculty: The teaching will be average according to our department. Only a few teachers have better knowledge and other teachers know only the content of their subject. They are not better at explaining. Mostly, they will explain in their mother tongue. Notes are given online as PDFs.
Other: I joined a good course but couldn't gain knowledge due to college teachers.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: Around 40-50% of students got placed in our college. Only a few companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top roles offered are nutritionist and dietitian. Top recruiting companies are Brittania and Amul.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms are available in our college. All course-related books are available in the library. Every department has proper labs. Wi-Fi is available for the college's needs. The boys' hostel is inside the campus. The food served in the hostel is acceptable. Our college has a canteen. The girls' hostel is outside our college. Our college provides bus facilities for hostel students.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is acceptable. The course curriculum is relevant and provides the proper knowledge, and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 90%. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.

Review of CMS College of Science and Commerce.
Placements: I am a BCA student at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore. The placement statistics for our course are impressive, with 90% of students placed. The highest salary package offered was 2.2 LPA, the average salary package offered was 2 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, KPMG, and Deloitte. About 80% of students secured internships, with companies like Sutherland, Syngene, and Zifo being the top recruiters for internships.
Infrastructure: I stayed in the college hostel. Each semester, which lasts for 6 months, costs Rs. 36,000. Facilities provided included a 4-sharing room with two fans and one cupboard for each member. We were not allowed to use an iron box, heaters, or kettles. The food was generally good, but sometimes it was not.
Faculty: In my department, all staff members were really nice and very good. For any problem related to college or studies, they were the go-to persons. They treated us just like their children and helped us in every way. I like all teachers in my department as well as in other departments. However, there is one sir named Manoj, whom no one liked in the college. He had a bit of a superiority complex and always scolded students unnecessarily. Each semester includes one internal exam, one model exam, and the main exam. The exam pattern was good: 10 one-mark questions, 5 three-mark questions, and 5 five-mark questions. Some teachers are very liberal, but others are very strict.
Other: My college conducts very few programs, so college life was a little boring without them. There are programs, but they are not that good. We have Onam celebrations in august or september, Ethnic day in april, College day in april or may, Sports day in march, and Pongal celebrations in january. The library is very big, and we can get all types of books that provide the information we need. There are no extracurricular activities like singing or dancing, but we have sports like kabaddi, athletics, kho-kho, etc.
