Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: Around 40-50% of students got placed in our college. Only a few companies visit our college to recruit students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Top roles offered are nutritionist and dietitian. Top recruiting companies are Brittania and Amul.

Infrastructure: Smart classrooms are available in our college. All course-related books are available in the library. Every department has proper labs. Wi-Fi is available for the college's needs. The boys' hostel is inside the campus. The food served in the hostel is acceptable. Our college has a canteen. The girls' hostel is outside our college. Our college provides bus facilities for hostel students.

Placements: The Placement Office in our college facilitates the students to explore the world of employment and new career avenues. It also helps students with career planning through counselling, where they gather information about themselves in terms of their interests, aptitudes, and abilities so that they can choose their careers more effectively. The objective of the Placement Office is also to support the professional development of the students by training them in employability skills such as resume building, aptitude, group discussion, and interview skills, which in turn help the students to move into a desired occupation. In addition, the Placement Cell also arranges opportunities for the students for part-time jobs, project work and internships in companies in and around Coimbatore. More than 100 placement opportunities have been arranged for the students since its inception. Some of the companies that recruited our students include South Indian Bank, TCS, Infosys, Wipro Ltd, IBM, ICICI Bank, Premiere Evolvics, Ernst & Young, Capgemini, HCL, Avantor, PPTS, Hewlett Packard, Access Health Care, Focus Edumatics, Sutherland Global, Tech Mahindra, Ford, Taj Gateway Hotel, Lotus 8 hotels, Digital Nirvana Ltd, Lemeridien, Concentrix, Maxval, Virtusa, Amazon, Accenture and many more.

Infrastructure: The college has 10 separate hostels (5 for men, 3 for women, and 2 for international students) with a gym and indoor and outdoor games. The library, 'ARIVULAGAM', the library of the college, covers an area of 6200 sq ft. It houses more than 63,000 books and over 206 national and international journals and magazines. The serene atmosphere of the library is conducive to reading. It can accommodate a hundred students at a time. The fully computerized, the well-equipped library is continuously adding more books and journals on the relevant subjects. Back volumes of journals and university question papers are bound and kept separately for reference. The state-of-the-art laboratories with modern equipment and sophisticated instruments, which are of international standard, enable the students to make the most of the time they spend here.

Faculty: The Department of Food Science & Nutrition is offering a degree programme in B.Sc. Food Science and Nutrition is affiliated with Bharathiar University. The Department aims to educate the students on the importance of good health and disseminate the message to society and the globe at large. They strive to achieve this goal by teaching students about the impact of nutritious food and lifestyle on health at the molecular and population levels. It also trains students in the development of nutritional strategies and government policies through a well-constructed syllabus. The syllabus also offers them hands-on experience in preparing nutritionally well-balanced foods for good health and for diseased conditions; spreading the message to society via community nutrition outreach programs; and institutional training in hospitals and food processing units.

Other: Our college has an A+ certification that was given in 2018 by NAAC with 3.38 points out of 4. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has accorded its first approval for the MCA course on September 11th, 1995. Our College is recognised with an award from Guinness World Records for participating in the largest Awareness Creation Programme on Waste Disposal by Households.
