B.Sc. | Basic Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (12th standard), Senior Secondary Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination within scope and standard found to be equivalent to the Senior Secondary Examination of a recognized Indian Board / University with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses, from a recognized Institute/ University. Candidate must secure the mentioned marks in aggregate. (Mentioned marks of OBC is for OBC- NCL, 50% is required for UPS, EWS categories and 40% is required for Third Gender, PwBD categories. Candidate already appeared in the qualifying examination enumerated above, can also apply on evidence basis. Mandatory Eligibility Criteria: Candidate must have studied Agricultural Science / PCB / PCM / PCMB as essential subjects at 12th Standard. NOTE: Candidate(s) who appears in subject(s) different than the one which s(he) passed in 12th standard will not be considered for admission. Candidate having a compartment/supplementary in any of the subjects will not be eligible. |
M.Sc. | Candidate must have passed Graduation in B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.Sc. Ag. (Hons.)/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. / B.Sc.(Hort.)/ B.Sc. (Hons.) Hort./ B.Sc. (Hort.) Hons./B.Sc.(Forestry)/B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry/ B.F.Sc (10+2+4 years degree) from a recognized Institute/ University. NOTE: It is necessary to pass four-year graduation course. Candidates with three-year degree are not eligible. |

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 138 students were admitted at College of Agriculture, Azamgarh and 99 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 99 students 12 were placed with median salary of INR 350000 and 80 students opted for higher studies. A total of 138 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at College of Agriculture, Azamgarhand 87 completed their graduation in 2021-22. PG Degree (3 year) : In year 2018-19, for 3 year PG Degree, a total of 52 students were admitted at College of Agriculture, Azamgarh and 48 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 48 students 28 were placed with median salary of INR 900000 and 8 students opted for higher studies. A total of 87 students were admitted in year 2019-20 for 3 year PG degree at College of Agriculture, Azamgarhand 52 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 52 students 37 were placed with median salary of INR 1000000 and 7 students opted for higher studies.
