Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

It is a good college for various engineering courses, and it offers valuable jobs for freshers.
Placements: Our college provides satisfactory placements, but they are not much good. However, they are up to the mark. Placements are provided in many different places as per different companies. Job offers provided here include only an employee and engineers depending on the requirements of companies. Students do internships in a particular industry which is allotted to them related to their fields.
Infrastructure: There is a good and high infrastructure in our college to create a better environment for students to study. Just a satisfactory sports division is available. The library is good to study, and it is silent. Many volumes are available in it for students to learn.
Faculty: Good faculty members are provided as per courses. Students are just ready for the engineering practical based daily activities required for companies. As a fresher, students are not much able to work as required by companies, but they can do satisfactory work.
Other: It is a good campus for students. Many events are held to develop the skills of students.

A review of the mechanical branch in this college.
Placements: The college offers placement opportunities in local companies or companies within Maharashtra but not MNCs. But the college posts the information on its notice board if there is an open pool placement drive. Campus drives are being organised in the colleges nearby. Overall, the placements are average, especially for our branch.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, a library, sports facilities, and an auditorium hall are available on the campus. Our labs are updated and good. Our canteen is average, and the canteen manager is changed frequently. Hostel rooms were the worst, and they are very unclean. The college also has a lawn at the entrance which gives a great and positive vibe. There is an ample amount of parking space available here.
Faculty: The course curriculum designed was great. The teachers of our mechanical branch were great. All of our teachers either completed their PhDs or are pursuing it. They were knowledgeable, and they mostly used the whiteboard technique to explain. Some of them use PPTs. The faculty to student ratio is decent.
Other: Many educational events like Technothlon, Robotics, and quiz competitions are often organised on the campus. A cultural fest named Shivgandha is also organised here. The campus is also quite big. Even sports activities are given great importance here.

COET, Akola is a college to gain knowledge and ensure having a bright career.
Placements: I got placed in Paras Cadd Pvt Ltd. Around 20 students got placed. Most of the students from other departments got placed in Dhoot. Some of the students of CSE got good placements in MNCs. Our seniors got placed in Banswara Garments and Daman. One of the students got placed in Tata Aeronautics Limited.
Infrastructure: The college has a great infrastructure. The building present on the campus is well-established, and there are well-equipped laboratories, classrooms and sports ground. Different departments have separate buildings. Our college has a separate workshop to practise engineering operations. Offices are good.
Faculty: I pursued mechanical engineering. Our department has well-qualified teachers. Our HoD, Prof. S C Makwana is very helpful. There are a total of 11 professors and assistant professors in the mechanical department. The college offers civil, mechanical, chemical, computer science and architecture courses.

Other: The college has good infrastructure with nice environment If you have private vehicle then it is good to survive otherwise it is hard to travel. It is too far from nearest railway station. Classes at FMS are interactive in nature and are a healthy mix of formal lectures, case studies and presentations.
